Nanogram quantities of heavy metals in 200 ml of water were quantitatively preconcentrated by coprecipitation with magnesium oxinate at pH 9–9.5. The precipitate was collected on a 1-m Nuclepore membrane filter and then dissolved in 5 ml of 1 mol/l nitric acid. After diluting to 10 ml with water, a 10- or 20-l aliquot of the solution was directly analyzed by electrothermal atomic absorption spectrometry using deuterium background correction. The background absorption due to the collector magnesium oxinate was negligibly small. The optimized coprecipitation technique has been applied to the determination of cobalt, nickel, copper, cadmium and lead at the ppt level in river and seawater. The relative standard deviations were within 10% and the detection limits were 0.025 (for Co), 0.019 (for Ni), 0.006 (for Cu), 0.001 (for Cd) and 0.017 g/l (for Pb). Blanks through the whole procedure were not detectable. 相似文献

An efficient catalytic (2 + 2)-cycloaddition reaction leading to the formation of cyclobutane rings has been devised. The process transforms silyl enol ethers and alpha,beta-unsaturated esters into polysubstituted cyclobutanes with a high degree of trans-stereoselectivity. Both the rate and stereoselectivity of the process can be controlled by the choice of the ester group and silyl substituents. The results of stereochemical studies show that the cycloaddition step in this reaction proceeds in a nonstereospecific manner and, thus, by a pathway involving sequential nucleophilic additions via a short-lived zwitterionic intermediate. 相似文献

Soluble microgels with several pendant vinyl groups were synthesised by radical copolymerization of methyl methacrylate (MMA) with p-divinyl benzene (p-DVB). The competitive reactions of intermolecular and intramolecular crosslinkings of these microgels were carried out at 40°C in the presence of 1-buten-3-ol as a degradative chain transfer agent. The rate constant of intermolecular crosslinking (k) was estimated by GPC (gel permeation chromatography) analysis on the polymer produced from intermolecular propagation between bimolecules. We have investigated the influences of the magnetic field strength, shear rate, and random forces on transport coefficients such as viscosity and diffusion coefficient, and also on the orientational distributions of rodlike particles of a dilute colloidal dispersion. This dispersion is composed of ferromagnetic spheroidal particles with a magnetic moment normal to the particle axis. In the present analysis, these spheroidal particles are assumed to conduct the rotational Brownian motion in a simple shear flow as well as an external magnetic field. The basic equation of the orientational distribution function has been derived from the balance of the torques and solved numerically. The results obtained here are summarized as follows. For a very strong magnetic field, the rodlike particle is significantly restricted in the field direction, so that the particle points to a direction normal to the flow direction (and also to the magnetic field direction). However, the present particle does not exhibit a strong directional characteristic, which is one of the typical properties for the previous particle with a magnetic moment parallel to the particle axis. That is, the particle can rotate around the axis of the magnetic moment, although the magnetic moment nearly points to the field direction. The viscosity significantly increases with the field strength, as in the previous particle model. The particle of a larger aspect ratio leads to the larger increase in the viscosity, since such elongated particles induce larger resistance in a flow field. The diffusion coefficient under circumstances of an applied magnetic field is in reasonable agreement between theoretical and experimental results. 相似文献

on TiO2 (Ag/TiO2) catalyst. Ag/TiO2 showed high catalytic activity for the reduction of NO to N2 and N2O. The activity for the reduction of NO to N2 and N2O was enhanced with an increase up to 3 wt.% Ag loading level. On increasing the concentration of ethene, the catalytic activity

A palladium-catalyzed CO(2)-recycling reaction has been developed. Reaction of 4-methoxycarbonyloxy-2-butyn-1-ols with phenols, carried out in the presence of a palladium catalyst, produces phenoxy-substituted cyclic carbonates by way of a pathway involving a CO(2) elimination-fixation. A variety of propargylic alcohols and phenols participate in these reactions which yield cyclic carbonates with high efficiencies. Stereoselective construction of trans-cyclic carbonates is achieved by using nonsymmetric substrates. Highly enantioselective reactions occur when (S)-BINAP is used as a ligand. Reaction of 4-phenoxycarbonyloxy-2-butyn-1-ol in the presence of the palladium catalyst yields the corresponding cyclic carbonates via a three-component decomposition-reconstruction process. 相似文献

Stable tris-, bis- and mono[9-(azuleno[1,2-b]thienyl)]methyl cations (7a, 8a and 9a) and their derivatives, with a 6-isopropyl substituent on each azuleno[1,2-b]thiophene ring (7b, 8b and 9b) were prepared by the hydride abstraction reaction of the corresponding methane derivatives. The bonding situation of these compounds including the methane derivatives was examined by analysis of the 3J(H,H) values for the seven-membered ring from the 1H NMR spectra. The methane derivatives exhibited a significant alternating pattern in the 3J(H,H) values, which indicated that the pi-system of the azulene core is perturbed by the fused thiophene ring, showing a tendency towards a localized heptafulvene substructure. The 3J(H,H) values of 7b and 8b in the seven-membered ring revealed that the alternating C-C bond lengths in the azulene core still existed. The cations 9a and 9b, which exhibited nearly equal 3J(H,H) values in the seven-membered ring, exhibit the development of a delocalized tropylium substructure in the azulene core. X-ray crystal analysis of 6-isopropylazuleno[1,2-b]thiophene revealed substantial bond-length alternation in the seven-membered ring. Significant bond-length equalization in the seven-membered ring was also confirmed by the X-ray crystal analysis of 9b. The stability of these carbocations was examined by measurement of the pKR+ values and the redox potentials, which revealed that the bond-length alternation in the azulene core does not significantly affect the stability of the carbocations. 相似文献

The free energy landscapes of peptide conformations were calibrated by ab initio quantum chemical calculations, after the enhanced conformational diversity search using the multicanonical molecular dynamics simulations. Three different potentials of mean force for an isolated dipeptide were individually obtained by the multicanonical molecular dynamics simulations using the conventional force fields, AMBER parm94, AMBER parm96, and CHARMm22. Each potential of mean force was then calibrated based upon the umbrella sampling algorithm from the adiabatic energy map that was calculated separately by the ab initio molecular orbital method, and all of the calibrated potentials of mean force coincided well. The calibration method was also applied to the simulations of a peptide dimer in explicit water models, and it was shown that the calibrated free energy landscapes did not depend on the force field used in the classical simulations, as far as the conformational space was sampled well. The current calibration method fuses the classical free energy calculation with the quantum chemical calculation, and it should generally make simulations for biomolecular systems much more reliable when combining with enhanced conformational sampling. 相似文献
