An ion-exchangeable ruthenate with a layered structure, K0.2RuO2.1, was prepared by solid-state reactions. The interlayer cation was exchanged with H+, C2H5NH3+, and ((C4H9)4N+) through proton-exchange, ion-exchange, and guest-exchange reactions. The electrical and magnetic properties of the products were characterized by DC resistivity and susceptibility measurements. Layered K0.2RuO2.1 exhibited metallic conduction between 300 and 13 K. The products exhibited similar magnetic behavior despite the differences in the type of interlayer cation, suggesting that the ruthenate sheet in the protonated form and the intercalation compounds possesses metallic nature. 相似文献

Reactions of [Ni(tren)(H(2)O)(2)]X(2) (tren = tris(2-aminoethyl)amine; X = Cl (1a), Br (1b); X(2) = SO(4) (1c)) with mannose-type aldoses, having a 2,3-cis configuration (D-mannose and L-rhamnose), afforded {bis(N-aldosyl-2-aminoethyl)(2-aminoethyl)amine}nickel(II) complexes, [Ni(N,N'-(aldosyl)(2)-tren)]X(2) (aldosyl = D-mannosyl, X = Cl (2a), Br (2b), X(2) = SO(4) (2c); aldosyl = L-rhamnosyl, X(2) = SO(4) (3c)). The structure of 1c was confirmed by X-ray crystallography to be a mononuclear [Ni(II)N(4)O(2)] complex with the tren acting as a tetradentate ligand (1c.2H(2)O: orthorhombic, Pbca, a = 15.988(2) ?, b = 18.826(4) ?, c = 10.359(4) ?, V = 3118 ?(3), Z = 8, R = 0.047, and R(w) = 0.042). Complexes 2a,c and 3c were characterized by X-ray analyses to have a mononuclear octahedral Ni(II) structure ligated by a hexadentate N-glycoside ligand, bis(N-aldosyl-2-aminoethyl)(2-aminoethyl)amine (2a.CH(3)OH: orthorhombic, P2(1)2(1)2(1), a = 16.005(3) ?, b = 20.095(4) ?, c = 8.361(1) ?, V = 2689 ?(3), Z = 4, R = 0.040, and R(w) = 0.027. 2c.3CH(3)OH: orthorhombic, P2(1)2(1)2(1), a = 14.93(2) ?, b = 21.823(8) ?, c = 9.746(2) ?, V = 3176 ?(3), Z = 4, R = 0.075, and R(w) = 0.080. 3c.3CH(3)OH: orthorhombic, P2(1)2(1)2(1), a = 14.560(4) ?, b = 21.694(5) ?, c = 9.786(2) ?, V = 3091 ?(3), Z = 4, R = 0.072, and R(w) = 0.079). The sugar part of the complex involves novel intramolecular sugar-sugar hydrogen bondings around the metal center. The similar reaction with D-glucose, D-glucosamine, and D-galactosamine, having a 2,3-trans configuration, resulted in the formation of a mono(sugar) complex, [Ni(N-(aldosyl)-tren)(H(2)O)(2)]Cl(2) (aldosyl = D-glucosyl (4b), 2-amino-2-deoxy-D-glucosyl (5a), and 2-amino-2-deoxy-D-galactosyl (5b)), instead of a bis(sugar) complex. The hydrogen bondings between the sugar moieties as observed in 2 and 3 should be responsible for the assembly of two sugar molecules on the metal center. Reactions of tris(N-aldosyl-2-aminoethyl)amine with nickel(II) salts gave the tris(sugar) complexes, [Ni(N,N',N"-(aldosyl)(3)-tren)]X(2) (aldosyl = D-mannosyl, X = Cl (6a), Br (6b); L-rhamnosyl, X = Cl (7a), Br (7b); D-glucosyl, X = Cl (9); maltosyl, X = Br (10); and melibiosyl, X = Br (11)), which were assumed to have a shuttle-type C(3) symmetrical structure with Delta helical configuration for D-type aldoses on the basis of circular dichroism and (13)C NMR spectra. When tris(N-rhamnosyl)-tren was reacted with NiSO(4).6H(2)O at low temperature, a labile neutral complex, [Ni(N,N',N"-(L-rhamnosyl)(3)-tren)(SO(4))] (8), was successfully isolated and characterized by X-ray crystallography, in which three sugar moieties are anchored only at the N atom of the C-1 position (8.3CH(3)OH.H(2)O: orthorhombic, P2(1)2(1)2(1), a = 16.035(4) ?, b = 16.670(7) ?, c = 15.38(1) ?, V = 4111 ?(3), Z = 4, R = 0.084, and R(w) = 0.068). To investigate the effect of the surface structure of dye-sensitized photocatalyst nanoparticles, we prepared three types of RuII-photosensitizer (PS)-double-layered Pt-cocatalyst-loaded TiO2 nanoparticles with different surface structures, Zr- RuCP6 -Zr- RuP6 @N wt %Pt-TiO2, RuCP6 -Zr- RuP6 @N wt %Pt-TiO2, and RuCP2 -Zr- RuP6 @N wt %Pt-TiO2 (N=0.2, 1, and 5), and evaluated their photocatalytic H2 evolution activity in the presence of redox-reversible iodide as the electron donor. Although the driving force of the electron injection from I− to the photo-oxidized RuIII PS is comparable, the activity increased in the following order: RuCP2 -Zr- RuP6 @1 wt %Pt-TiO2 < RuCP6 -Zr- RuP6 @1 wt %Pt-TiO2 < Zr- RuCP6 -Zr- RuP6 @1 wt %Pt-TiO2. The apparent quantum yield of Zr- RuCP6 -Zr- RuP6 @1 wt %Pt-TiO2 in the first hour reached 1 %. Zeta-potential measurements suggest that the surface Zr4+-phosphate groups attracted I− anions to the nanoparticle–solution interface. Our results indicate that the surface modification of dye-sensitized photocatalysts is a promising approach to enhance photocatalytic activity with various redox mediators. 相似文献

We propose a new gauge field theory which is an extension of ordinary string field theory by assembling multiple state spaces of the bosonic string. The theory includes higher-spin fields in its massless spectrum together with the infinite tower of massive fields. From the theory, we can easily extract the minimal gauge-invariant quadratic action for tensor fields with any symmetry. As examples, we explicitly derive the gauge-invariant actions for some simple mixed symmetric tensor fields. Cancer is one of the primary causes of death worldwide. A high‐precision analysis of biomolecular behaviors in cancer cells at the single‐cell level and more effective cancer therapies are urgently required. Here, we describe the development of a magnetically‐ and near infrared light‐triggered optical control method, based on nanorobotics, for the analyses of cellular functions. A new type of nanotransporters, composed of magnetic iron nanoparticles, carbon nanohorns, and liposomes, was synthesized for the spatiotemporal control of cellular functions in cells and mice. Our technology will help to create a new state‐of‐the‐art tool for the comprehensive analysis of “real” biological molecular information at the single‐cell level, and it may also help in the development of innovative cancer therapies. 相似文献

Activated carbon prepared from silk fibroin, which is free of metal elements, showed a high catalytic activity for the oxygen-reduction reaction (ORR). The activated carbon had a very high onset potential of Eonset = 0.83 V (vs. RHE) in oxygen-saturated 0.5 M H2SO4 at 60 °C. The ORR on the activated carbon proceeded by a four-electron process in the high-electrode-potential region; this gradually decreased to a 3.5-electron reaction below about 0.6 V (vs. RHE). Only about 1% of nitrogen atoms (mostly quaternary) remained in the activated carbon by heat-treatment at up to 1200 °C are responsible for the high catalytic activity. The open circuit voltage of a polymer electrolyte fuel cell using the activated carbon as the cathode and a platinum/carbon black anode under pure oxygen and hydrogen gases, respectively, both at one atmosphere, was 0.96 V at 27 °C. 相似文献

Pyrrole-imidazole polyamide (PIP) is a nuclease-resistant novel compound that inhibits gene expression through binding to the minor groove of DNA. Human aurora kinase-A (AURKA) and -B (AURKB) are important regulators in mitosis during the cell cycle. In this study, two specific PIPs (PIP-A and PIP-B) targeting AURKA and AURKB promoter regions were designed and synthesized, and their biological effects were investigated by several in vitro assays. PIP-A and PIP-B significantly inhibited the promoter activities, mRNA expression, and protein levels of AURKA and AURKB, respectively, in a concentration-dependent manner. Moreover, 1:1 combination treatment with both PIPs demonstrated prominent antiproliferative synergy (CI value [ED(50)] = 0.256) to HeLa cells as a result of inducing apoptosis-mediated severe catastrophe of cell-cycle progression.
