Carbon-fluorine bondings of fluorinated fullerenes and fluorine-graphite intercalation compound CxF were investigated in detail on the basis of XPS data and the potential model using the charge distribution calculated by semiempirical method. It has been confirmed by the present study that two peaks in the C1s spectra observed for fluorinated fullerenes are assigned to carbon atoms bonded to fluorine atoms and those unbound to fluorine atoms, and the small difference in charges and Madelung potentials of fluorine atoms in different circumstances well explains the single peak in F1s spectra of fluorinated fullerenes. In the calculated structures of 1,3-C60F2 and 1,2-C60Fx (x = 2?6) used as the models of CxF, three kinds of carbon-fluorine bondings were observed corresponding to nearly ionic, semicovalent and covalent C? F bondings. The calculated result supports that the bi-intercalation structure of stage 1 CxF consists of nearly ionic and semi-covalent fluorines. 相似文献
Magnetic nanoparticles (MNPs) modified with the thiol functionalized polyamidoamine (PAMAM) dendron were synthesized to estimate their DNA recovery capabilities. Aminosilane-modified MNPs and MNPs surrounded by a phospholipid (distearoylphosphatidylethanolamine (DSPE)) bilayer were used as core particles. Cystamine-core PAMAM dendrimers were reduced by dithiothreitol to dendron thiols and chemically conjugated to the core particles. Characterization of the synthesis revealed an increase of the surface amine charge from generation 1 (G1) to G6, starting with an aminosilane initiator. Particle size distribution analysis indicated that G6 PAMAM-modified MNPs exhibited monodispersity in an aqueous solution. G6 PAMAM-MNPs and G6 PAMAM-PE-MNPs synthesized by the proposed method have equivalent DNA recovery abilities to PAMAM-MNPs prepared by the conventional divergent synthesis method. In optimized conditions, 96% of λDNA was recovered using G6 PAMAM-PE-MNPs. Therefore, the method for preparing PAMAM-MNPs and PAMAM-PE-MNPs proposed in this study will be a novel approach for producing DNA carriers for efficient DNA purification by magnetic separation. 相似文献
We present a semi-empirical calculational procedure for thep5nl bound excited states of rare gas atoms based on the use of an LS-dependent orbital for an excitednl electron outside a frozen Hartree-Fockp5 core. The spin-orbit interaction is accounted for approximately using a localized Hartree potential. The contribution from the long-range core polarization is estimated by using a parametrized potential. A model potential is also introduced to represent partially the short-range multi-electron interactions for thep5np levels. The energy levels are calculated by diagonalizing the Hamiltonian matrix following anLS →jl transformation. The calculated fine structure of the Nep5ns,p5np,p5nd, andp5nf ¦ (jl)KJ〉 levels are in close agreement with the observed level splittings. The transition probabilities are also in agreement with earlier theoretical and experimental results. 相似文献
The microwave-assisted acid-digestion for the determination of metals in coal by ICP-AES was investigated, especially focusing on the necessity of adding HF. By testing five certified reference materials, BCR-180, BCR-040, NIST-1632b, NIST-1632c, and SARM-20, it was found that the two-stage digestion without HF (HNO3 + H2O2 was used) was very effective for the pretreatment of ICP-AES measurement. Both major metals (Al, Ca, Fe, and Mg) and minor or trace metals (Co, Cr, Cu, Mn, Ni, Pb, and Zn) in coal gave good recoveries for their certified or reference values. The possibility of ‘HF-memory effect’ was cancelled by the use of a set of vessels which had been never contacted with HF. Twenty-four Japanese standard coals (SS coals) were analyzed by the present method, and the concentrations of major metals measured by the present method provided very high accordance with those from the authentic JIS (Japanese Industrial Standard) method. 相似文献

The anion exchange reaction is fundamental to the adsorption and desorption of a specific species from a solution phase to an extracting phase, and it is widely used for separation and waste fluid treatment in industrial fields. However, the details of the anion exchange reaction are poorly understood. Quantitative thermodynamic analysis needs a precise solution condition before and after the exchange reaction. Identification of species adsorbed on the anion exchanger is also necessary because there are multiple species in the solution phase in general. Cobalt is a base metal that is widely used in modern society. One of the authors determined the distribution of cobalt-chloro complexes in hydrochloric acid solutions. It is necessary to know what species are adsorbed on anion exchangers for the thermodynamic analysis of the anion exchange reaction. The comparison in structures between the species in the solution phase and adsorbed on anion exchangers reveals what species are adsorbed. Therefore, the determination of the structures of cobalt-chloro complexes in the solution phase is the next step for quantitative analysis. X-ray absorption spectroscopy (XAS) was used for the structure analysis. Factor analysis can decompose extended X-ray absorption fine structure (EXAFS) and X-ray absorption near-edge structure (XANES) spectra consisting of multiple species into individual spectra of single species using the distribution determined using UV-Vis absorption spectra. Fitting EXAFS theoretical models to the decomposed individual spectra determined the structures of three cobalt-chloro complexes: an octahedron of [CoII(H2O)6]2+, a distorted octahedron of [CoII(H2O)5Cl]+, and a tetrahedron of [CoIICl4]2?. The XANES spectra showed us that the Cl ligand in [CoII(H2O)5Cl]+ was attracted to the center atom of CoII by an electrostatic force, and the bonding system between Cl ligands and CoII in [CoIICl4]2? involved covalency.
An application of a hypervalent silicon complex, generated from a chiral phosphine oxide catalyst and silicon tetrachloride, to the enantioselective organocatalytic Morita–Baylis–Hillman reaction is described. A chloride anion liberated from the hypervalent silicon complex smoothly generated a γ-chloro silyl enol ether that subsequently reacted with an aldehyde to afford the Baylis–Hillman adducts in good yields and with good enantioselectivities. 相似文献
