The mechanism of stereoselectivity of propylene insertion in propylene-ethylene copolymerization on a CS symmetrical zirconium complex i-Pr(Cp) (Flu) ZrCl2 catalyst is discussed. Calculation results indicate that not only the β-carbon in the growing chain end of the polymer but also the substituent of the β-carbon play an important role in the selectivity of the prochiral face of the next-coming propylene monomer. The stereoregularity of propylene units connected to an ethylene unit (PPE) in propylene-ethylene copolymer was observed to be lower than that in propylene sequences (PPP) in the 13C NMR spectrum, which supports the calculation results. Furthermore, the structure and properties of propylene-olefin (ethylene, 1-butene, 1-pentene, 1-hexene, and 4-methyl-1-pentene) copolymers prepared with the i-Pr(Cp) (Flu) ZrCl2 catalyst system were studied. Propylene-1-butene copolymer exhibits peculiarly lower melting point depression because 1-butene units enter into the unit cell of the crystal structure of syndiotactic polypropylene.  相似文献

Ruthenium(III)‐substituted α‐Keggin‐type silicotungstates with pyridine‐based ligands, [SiW11O39RuIII(Py)]5?, (Py: pyridine ( 1 ), 4‐pyridine‐carboxylic acid ( 2 ), 4,4′‐bipyridine ( 3 ), 4‐pyridine‐acetamide ( 4 ), and 4‐pyridine‐methanol ( 5 )) were prepared by reacting [SiW11O39RuIII(H2O)]5? with the pyridine derivatives in water at 80 °C and then isolated as their hydrated cesium salts. These compounds were characterized using cyclic voltammetry (CV), UV/Vis, IR, and 1H NMR spectroscopy, elemental analysis, titration, and X‐ray absorption near‐edge structure (XANES) analysis (Ru K‐edge and L3‐edge). Single‐crystal X‐ray analysis of compounds 2 , 3 , and 4 revealed that RuIII was incorporated in the α‐Keggin framework and was coordinated by pyridine derivatives through a Ru? N bond. In the solid state, compounds 2 and 3 formed a dimer through π? π interaction of the pyridine moieties, whereas they existed as monomers in solution. CV indicated that the incorporated RuIII–Py was reversibly oxidized into the RuIV–Py derivative and reduced into the RuII–Py derivative.  相似文献

We assessed the applicability and basis set dependency of the B3LYP functional to investigate magnetic interactions of Mn complexes. For the purpose, we constructed a test set consisting of 16 Mn complexes with various oxidation states and structural motifs.The B3LYP results correctly reproduced magnetism and magneto–redox correlation of the standard μ-oxo motifs with superexchange paths, while it does not work for weak magnetic complexes. We also showed that a modest basis set yields results similar to those of triple-zeta plus diffuse-and-polarization functions. This basis set is expected to be a standard basis set for investigating magnetism of manganese complexes.  相似文献

A convenient method is reported to specifically acylate phenolic hydroxyl groups through a radical pathway. When a mixture of an aldehyde and a phenol in ethyl acetate is irradiated with blue light in the presence of iridium and nickel bromide catalysts at ambient temperature, phenoxyl and acyl radicals are transiently generated in situ and cross‐couple to furnish an ester. Aliphatic hydroxy groups remain untouched under the reaction conditions.  相似文献

Electrical conduction among metallocycles has been unexplored because of the difficulty in creating electronic transport pathways. In this work, we present an electrocrystallization strategy for synthesizing an intrinsically electron-conductive metallocycle, [Ni6(NDI-Hpz)6(dma)12(NO3)6]·5DMA·nH2O (PMC-hexagon) (NDI-Hpz = N,N′-di(1H-pyrazol-4-yl)-1,4,5,8-naphthalenetetracarboxdiimide). The hexagonal metallocycle units are assembled into a densely packed ABCABC… sequence (like the fcc geometry) to construct one-dimensional (1D) helical π-stacked columns and 1D pore channels, which were maintained under the liberation of H2O molecules. The NDI cores were partially reduced to form radicals as charge carriers, resulting in a room-temperature conductivity of (1.2–2.1) × 10−4 S cm−1 (pressed pellet), which is superior to that of most NDI-based conductors including metal–organic frameworks and organic crystals. These findings open up the use of metallocycles as building blocks for fabricating conductive porous molecular materials.

Intrinsically electron-conductive metallocycle was synthesized. π-Radicals play a key role in constructing π-stacked columns among molecular hexagons and achieving high electrical conductivity over 10−4 S cm−1 in polycrystalline pellet.  相似文献

The slant from horizontal size disparity is geometrically predictable. The apparent slant, however, is usually not equivalent to the prediction as numerous visual factors affect it. The aim of this study is to examine whether the vertical angular subtense of a stimulus with horizontal size disparity alters the magnitude of perceived slant for a given horizontal angular subtense. The results indicate that a smaller angular subtense of display produces a smaller magnitude of slant perception.  相似文献

Site-directed spin labeling electron spin resonance (ESR) was applied to investigate the local environment of the cyanobacterial circadian clock protein KaiB. We prepared five cysteine residue-substituted mutants of KaiB labeled with maleimide spin label (MSL). By comparing the ESR spectra of KaiBs carrying MSL at different positions (Thr64, Lys67, Tyr94, Gly98, and Ala101), local conformational changes were identified. The ESR spectra of MSL-T64C and MSL-K67C showed the relatively slow motion of MSL characterized by τ?=?79 and 59?ns at 4°C, respectively. The spectra of MSL-Y94C, MSL-G98C and MSL-A101C showed relatively fast motion characterized by τ?=?8.0, 4.1 and 3.1?ns at 4°C, respectively. These differences were explained by the local environments of the position in KaiB. On incubation at 40°C for 24?h, all ESR spectra of the labeled KaiBs changed, which can be explained by the structural relaxation of KaiB.  相似文献

Three types of bi‐functionalized copolymers ( P1FAz , P2FAz , and P3FAz ) with different numbers of fluorene units and an azobenzene unit were synthesized and characterized using UV–vis and polarized absorption spectroanalysis. The trans‐cis photoisomerization was conformed under 400 nm light irradiation for all copolymers in chloroform. However, in the film state, only the transcis photoisomerization occurred by mono‐fluorene attached copolymer poly[(9,9‐di‐n‐octylfluorenyl‐2,7‐diyl)‐alt‐4,4′‐azobenzene)] ( P1FAz ). Photo‐induced alignment was achieved using the P1FAz film after irradiation with linear polarized 400 nm light and subsequent annealing at 60 °C. Surface orientation of a spin‐coating film of poly(9,9‐didodecylfluorene) ( F12 ) was achieved using the photo‐induced alignment layer of the P1FAz film after annealing at 90 °C. The photo‐induced alignment layer of P1FAz has potential application to the surface orientation technique for appropriate polymers, which will be useful for the fabrication of optoelectronics devices. © 2012 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
