In this paper we consider the sampling properties of the bootstrap process, that is, the empirical process obtained from a random sample of size n (with replacement) of a fixed sample of size n of a continuous distribution. The cumulants of the bootstrap process are given up to the order n –1 and their unbiased estimation is discussed. Furthermore, it is shown that the bootstrap process has an asymptotic minimax property for some class of distributions up to the order n –1/2.  相似文献

An ion-conductive mesogenic monomer with an imidazolium ionic moiety has been designed to obtain self-assembled materials forming ionic layers. Self-standing polymer films are prepared by in situ photopolymerization of the monomer that forms homeotropic monodomain on a normal glass substrate in the smectic A phase. Macroscopically oriented, layered nanostructures are formed in the film. The ionic conductivity parallel to the smectic layer has been measured for the oriented film. Trianionic spin-quartet and tetraanionic spin-quintet molecular clusters derived from m-dibenzoylbenzene in solution were identified by CW-ESR/pulse-ESR based two-dimensional electron spin transient nutation spectroscopy, and their spin and clustering structures in the ground state were determined in terms of a D-tensor based phenomenological approach and DFT calculations. The molecular structures obtained semiempirically are supported by DFT-based quantum chemical calculations. The DFT calculations have been tested for a sodium ion bridged fluorenone-based cluster, [fluorenone(-)˙ {Na(+)(dme)(2)}](2), whose crystal structure was reported in the literature [H. Bock, H.-F. Herrmann, D. Fenske and H. Goesmann, Angew. Chem., Int. Ed. Engl., 1988, 27, 1067], reproducing the experimentally determined moelcular structure of the dimer cluster. It is suggested that both the quartet and quintet clusters in the 2-MTHF glass and solution form the cross-typed structures with the two m-dibenzoylbenzene moieties in cis-configuration. A dianionic spin-triplet m-dibenzoylbenzene derivative was detected for the first time and its charge and spin densities were studied by the quantum chemical calculations. The high-spin states of the open-shell entities under study were confirmed by X-band pulse-ESR based electron spin nutation spectroscopy in organic frozen glasses. The D values and other spin Hamiltonian parameters of all the polyanionic high-spin species were determined by the hybrid eigenfield spectral simulation for fine-structure ESR spectra. m-Dibenzoylbenzene provides pseudo-degenerate π-LUMOs arising from its topological symmetry of the π-electron network and its dianion in the triplet ground state is a prototypical model for topologically-controlled genuinely organic ferromagnetic metals.  相似文献

A regioselective intramolecular cyclization/halogenation reaction of N-alkoxy-o-alkynylbenzamides with CuCl(2)/NCS was developed. The corresponding 3-(chloromethylene)isobenzofuran-1-ones were exclusively obtained via 5-exo-dig cyclization in moderate to excellent yields within 0.5-1 h. This approach has been successfully used to synthesize a biaryl compound by the Suzuki-Miyaura reaction.  相似文献

Four new iridoid glucosides were isolated from the whole plant of Ajuga reptans L. (Labiatae) along with four known iridoid glucosides, one known diterpenoid glycoside, one known aliphatic alcohol glycoside, and three known ecdysteroids. Their chemical structures were determined on the basis of spectroscopic data and chemical evidence. The diterpenoid glycoside exhibited 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) radical and H?O? scavenging activities.  相似文献

Syntheses of the novel oligodiaminosaccharides, α-(1→4)-linked-2,6-diamino-2,6-dideoxy-D-glucopyranose oligomers, and their interactions with nucleic acid duplexes DNA-DNA, RNA-RNA, and DNA-RNA are described. Monomers to tetramers of oligodiaminoglucose derivatives having α-glycosyl bonds were successfully synthesized using a chain elongation cycle including glycosylation reactions of a 6-phthalimide glycosyl donor. UV melting experiments for a variety of nucleic acid duplexes in the absence and presence of the oligodiaminosaccharides were performed. The synthesized oligodiaminosaccharides exhibited notable thermodynamic stabilization effects on A-type RNA-RNA and DNA-RNA duplexes, whereas B-type DNA-DNA duplexes were not stabilized by the synthesized oligodiaminosaccharides. Among the oligodiaminosaccharides, the tetramer exhibited the highest ability to stabilize A-type duplexes, and the increase in T(m) values induced by the tetramer were higher than those induced by neomycin B and tobramycin, which are known aminoglycosides having ability to bind and stabilize a variety of RNA molecules. CD spectrometry experiments revealed that the oligodiaminosaccharides caused small structural changes in RNA-RNA duplexes, whereas no appreciable changes were observed in the structure of DNA-DNA duplexes. ITC (isothermal titration calorimetry) experiments demonstrated that the amount of heat generated by the interaction between RNA-RNA duplexes and the tetradiaminosaccharides was approximately double that generated by that between DNA-DNA duplexes and the tetradiaminosaccharides. These results strongly suggested the existence of an A-type nucleic acid specific-binding mode of the oligodiaminosaccharides, which bind to these duplexes and cause small structural changes.  相似文献

Transport properties of a superconductor-semiconductor-superconductor (Su-Sm-Su) junction with superlattice structure are investigated. Differential resistance as a function of voltage shows oscillatory behavior under the irradiation of radio-frequency (rf) waves with the specific frequency of 1.77 GHz regardless of the superconducting materials and the junction geometries. Experimental data are quantitatively explained in terms of the coupling of superconducting quasiparticles with long-wavelength acoustic phonons indirectly excited by the rf waves. We propose that the strong coupling causes the formation of novel composite particles, Andreev polarons.  相似文献

Arginine-rich, cell-penetrating peptides (e.g., Tat-peptide, penetratin, and polyarginine) are used to carry therapeutic molecules such as oligonucleotides, DNA, peptides, and proteins across cell membranes. Two types of processes are being considered to cross the cell membranes: one is an endocytic pathway, and another is an energy-independent, nonendocytic pathway. However, the latter is still not known in detail. Here, we studied the effects of the chain length of polyarginine on its interaction with an anionic phospholipid large unilamellar vesicle (LUV) or a giant vesicle using poly-l-arginine composed of 69 (PLA69), 293 (PLA293), or 554 (PLA554) arginine residues, together with octaarginine (R8). ζ-potential measurements confirmed that polyarginine binds to LUV via electrostatic interactions. Circular dichroism analysis demonstrated that the transition from the random coil to the α-helix structure upon binding to LUV occurred for PLA293 and PLA554, whereas no structural change was observed for PLA69 and R8. Fluorescence studies using membrane probes revealed that the binding of polyarginine to LUV affects the hydration and packing of the membrane interface region, in which the degree of membrane insertion is greater for the longer polyarginine. Isothermal titration calorimetry measurements demonstrated that although the binding affinity (i.e., the Gibbs free energy of binding) per arginine residue is similar among all polyarginines the contribution of enthalpy to the energetics of binding of polyarginine increases with increasing polymer chain length. In addition, confocal laser scanning microscopy showed that all polyarginines penetrate across giant vesicle membranes, and the order of the amount of membrane penetration is R8 ≈ PLA69 < PLA293 ≈ PLA554. These results suggest that the formation of α-helical structure upon lipid binding drives the insertion of polyarginine into the membrane interior, which appears to enhance the membrane penetration of polyarginine.  相似文献
