The reduced transition probabilities B(E2;0(+) --> 2(+)(1)) of the neutron-rich (74)Zn and (70)Ni nuclei have been measured by Coulomb excitation in a (208)Pb target at intermediate energy. These nuclei have been produced at Grand Accélérateur National d'Ions Lourds via interactions of a 60A MeV (76)Ge beam with a Be target. The B(E2) value for (70)Ni(42) is unexpectedly large, which indicates that neutrons added above N=40 strongly polarize the Z=28 proton core. In the Zn isotopic chain, the steep rise of B(E2) values beyond N=40 continues up to (74)Zn(44). The enhanced proton core polarization in (70)Ni is attributed to the monopole interaction between the neutron in the g(9/2) and protons in the f(7/2) and f(5/2) spin-orbit partner orbitals. This interaction could result in a weakening of magicity in (78)Ni(50).  相似文献

We propose a new way to generate an observable geometric phase by means of a completely incoherent phenomenon. We show how to imprint a geometric phase to a system by adiabatically manipulating the environment with which it interacts. As a specific scheme, we analyze a multilevel atom interacting with a broadband squeezed vacuum bosonic bath. As the squeezing parameters are smoothly changed in time along a closed loop, the ground state of the system acquires a geometric phase. We also propose a scheme to measure such a geometric phase by means of a suitable polarization detection.  相似文献

The vanishing of the Nielsen root number N(f;a) implies that f is homotopic to a root free map h, i.e., hf and h?1(a)=?. We investigate the matching, across cylindrical surfaces, of static cylindrically symmetric conformally flat spacetimes with a cosmological constant $\Lambda $ , satisfying regularity conditions at the axis, to an exterior Linet–Tian spacetime. We prove that for $\Lambda \le 0$ such matching is impossible. On the other hand, we show through simple examples that the matching is possible for $\Lambda >0$ . We suggest a physical argument that might explain these results.  相似文献

Abstract

This review summarizes and discusses the preparation of slurries for analysis of inorganic materials by inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry (ICP‐OES) and inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP‐MS). Details about the grinding step for slurry preparation, the stabilization of slurries, and the calibration strategies are critically discussed. Typical applications described in the literature and the state‐of‐the‐art including advantages and limitations of slurry analysis are presented.  相似文献

In this paper, we present an inexact version of the steepest descent method with Armijo’s rule for multicriteria optimization in the Riemannian context given in Bento et al. (J. Optim. Theory Appl., 154: 88–107, 2012). Under mild assumptions on the multicriteria function, we prove that each accumulation point (if any) satisfies first-order necessary conditions for Pareto optimality. Moreover, assuming that the multicriteria function is quasi-convex and the Riemannian manifold has nonnegative curvature, we show full convergence of any sequence generated by the method to a Pareto critical point.  相似文献

We present several deformation and rigidity results within the classes of closed Riemannian manifolds which either are 2k‐Einstein (in the sense that their 2k‐Ricci tensor is constant) or have constant 2k‐Gauss‐Bonnet curvature. The results hold for a family of manifolds containing all non‐flat space forms and the main ingredients in the proofs are explicit formulae for the linearizations of the above invariants obtained by means of the formalism of double forms.  相似文献

An associate inverse subsemigroup of a regular semigroup S is a subsemigroup T of S containing a least associate x* of each xS, in relation to the natural partial order ≤. In [1] the authors describe the structure of regular semigroups with an associate inverse subsemigroup, satisfying two natural conditions. Yasuhiro Hara in [Topology Appl. 148 (2005), 113–121] and Jan Jaworowski in [J. Fixed Point Theory Appl. 1 (2007), 111–121] studied, under certain conditions, the degree of equivariant maps between free G-manifolds, where G is a compact Lie group. The main results obtained by them involve data provided by the classifying maps of the orbit spaces. In this paper, we extend these results by replacing the free G-manifolds by free generalized G-manifolds over ${\mathbb{Z}}$ .  相似文献
