Tupisteroide A–C,three new polyhydroxylated steroidal constituents from the roots of Tupistra chinensis

Three new steroidal compounds with polyhydroxy groups, tupisteroide A–C (1–3), were obtained from the roots of Tupistra chinensis, together with one known compound (4) that was isolated from this plant for the first time. The structures of tupisteroide A–C were determined on the basis of one‐ and two‐dimensional NMR spectroscopy, including ¹H–¹H Correlation Spectroscopy, Heteronuclear Multiple Bond Correlation, and Heteronuclear Single Quantum Coherence experiments. The isolated compounds were evaluated for their cytotoxic activities against A549, HepG2, and CaSki cancer cell lines in vitro. Among them, compounds 1, 2, and 4 did not show significant inhibitory activity, but compound 3 showed cytotoxicity against A549 cancer cell lines with IC₅₀ values of 25.0 μM. Tuner design and RF test of a four-rod RFQ

A mini-vane four-rod radio frequency quadruple (RFQ) accelerator has been built for neutron imaging. The RFQ will operate at 201.5 MHz, and its length is 2.7 m. The original electric field distribution along the electrodes is not flat. The resonant frequency needs to be tuned to the operating value. And the frequency needs to be compensated for temperature change during high power RF test and beam test. As tuning such a RFQ is difficult, plate tuners and stick tuners are designed. This paper will present the tuners design, the tuning procedure, and the RF properties of the RFQ.

     

Solvent replacement to thermo‐responsive nanoparticles from long‐subchain hyperbranched PSt grafted with PNIPAM for encapsulation

Long‐subchain hyperbranched polystyrene (lsc‐hp PSt) with uniform subchain length was obtained through copper‐catalyzed azide‐alkyne cycloaddition click chemistry from seesaw macromonomer of PSt having one alkynyl group anchored at the chain centre and two azido group attached to both chain ends [alkynyl‐(PSt‐N₃)₂]. After precipitation fraction, different portions of lsc‐hp PSt having narrow overall molecular weight distribution were obtained for further grafting with alkynyl‐capped poly(N‐isopropylacrylamide) (alkynyl‐PNIPAM), which was obtained via single‐electron transfer living radical polymerization of NIPAM with propargyl 2‐bromoisobutyrate as the initiator and grafted onto the peripheral azido groups of lsc‐hp PSt via click chemistry. Thus, amphiphilic lsc‐hp PSt grafted with PNIPAM chains (lsc‐hp PSt‐g‐PNIPAM) was obtained and would have star‐like conformation in tetrahydrofuran (THF). By replacing THF with water, lsc‐hp PSt‐g‐PNIPAM was dissolved at molecular level in aqueous solution due to the hydrophilicity of PNIPAM and exhibited thermal induced shrinkage of PNIPAM arms. The water‐insoluble lsc‐hp PSt would collapse densely and could be served as a reservoir to absorb hydrophobic chemicals in aqueous solution. A comparison of the Discontinuous-Galerkin- and Spectral-Difference-Method on triangulations using PKD polynomials

This paper gives a first numerical comparison of the Discontinuous-Galerkin-(DG) and Spectral-Difference-Method (SD) under almost equivalent conditions for smooth test cases.

采用多种核磁共振（NMR）技术（包括¹H NMR、¹³C NMR、¹H-¹H COSY、¹H-¹³C HSQC、¹H-¹³C HMBC），对基于咔唑-靛红双-硫代碳酰腙新型衍生物2，即1-[（3Z）-2-氧代吲哚-3-亚基]-5-[（9-己基-3-咔唑基）亚基]硫代碳酰腙的¹H和¹³C NMR信号进行了全归属，确定了其结构．     

Preparation of PTFE Nanosphere with the Assistant of Modified Multi-Walled Carbon Nanotubes

PTFE nanospheres have been obtained with the assistant of different multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWNTs) by means of a simple preparation method. The results show that the PTFE nanospheres possess the best dispersion stability using the fluorocarbon-modified MWNTs as the assistant. The products are characterized by field-emission scanning electron microscopy and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, respectively.     

A type of spectrophotometer with both SCI and SCE measurement structures

In order to measure the color of different samples with different surface texture, multiple measurement and observation conditions are needed from the instrument. Thus, both SCI (specular component included) and SCE (specular component excluded) measurement conditions are included in most color measuring instruments today. In current design, a light trap is established in the integrating sphere, and the instrument uses mechanical control to switch between SCI and SCE measurement modes. However, establishing a light trap inside the integrating sphere will affect the SCI and SCE measurement results. This article discusses the problems in current design, proposes a dual light source structure that includes both SCI and SCE measurement conditions, and then evaluates the structure with experiments. The experiment results show that the improved structure is more suitable for color measuring instruments with both SCI and SCE modes, and it has high practical value.     

密度检定液配制及注意事项

根据密度计的工作和检定原理,介绍各种密度检定液的配制方法及注意事项。针对硫酸氢乙酯检定液难以配制问题,着重介绍了检定液的配制过程,通过对不同浓度酒精液配制的硫酸氢乙酯校准密度计的比较实验,说明了不同体积分数酒精液配制的硫酸氢乙酯对校准结果的影响。
