1-Dialkylamino-1,3-diaryl-3-diphenylphosphanylallenes 3a-e are thermally converted into a-annulated 3,5-diarylpyrroles 6a-f and [a]-annulated benzo[c]azepines 7a,b,d. These transformations are likely to include conjugated azomethine ylide intermediates that can undergo either a 1,5- or a 1,7-electrocyclization. The periselectivity is markedly shifted toward 1,5-cyclization when the diphenylphosphanyl substituent is replaced by the diphenylphosphoryl group. Thus, 1-dialkylamino-3-(diphenylphosphoryl)allenes 4a-f yield pyrroles 6 exclusively and with improved yields, unless the 3-aryl substituent in the allene is too electron-rich (e.g., benzodioxol-5-yl, 4f --> 7f). The preparation and thermal transformation of aminoallenes 4 over three or four steps can be conducted as a one-pot procedure, thus providing a convenient synthesis of [a]-annulated 3,5-diarylpyrroles from enaminoketones.  相似文献

The structure of the title compound, C15H27N2+·ClO4?, consists of a monoprotonated sparteinium cation and a perchlorate anion. The two tertiary N atoms of the cation, one perchlorate O atom and a H atom form a bifurcated hydrogen bond, the four hydrogen‐bonding atoms being nearly in the same plane.  相似文献

The syntheses, structures, and N2 adsorption properties of six new supramolecular metallacycles are reported. Flexible ditopic linkers, 1-4, with systematically varied lengths and conformational degrees of freedom were synthesized utilizing ester linkages. They were used in combination with (dppp)M(OTf)2, where M = Pt(II) and Pd(II), and cis-(Me3P)2Pt(OTf)2 to form flexible supramolecular metallacycles 5-10 in 88-98% isolated yields. Their structures were characterized via multinuclear NMR and X-ray crystallography. The metallacycles stack to form porous structures in the crystalline state. The pore dimensions depend on both the phosphorus ligands attached to the metals and the flexible linkers. Adsorption studies on the porous materials show that 5a, 6, 8, and 9 held 11.7, 16.5, 5.7, and 6.8 cm3/g STP of N2 at 77 K, respectively. A guest-exchange study with nitromethane and toluene reveals that the nanopore in 5 is flexible, a property which was transferred from the linker to the supramolecular structure in the solid state.  相似文献

The oxidation of uric acid has been studied by thin-layer spectroelectrochemistry using an optically transparent gold minigrid electrode and enzymatically using peroxidase. Under both enzymatic and electrochemical conditions a u.v.-absorbing intermediate (λmax=302–304 nm between pH 7–9.3) is observed. This intermediate is proposed to be an imine-alcohol species formed by rapid hydration of the primary reaction product which is a diimine. Under the conditions employed in both the enzymatic electrochemical studies the imine-alcohol intermediate is hydrated in a first order reaction with an observed rate constant of 3.5×10?3s?1 between pH 7–9.3. This study establishes the similarity between the electrochemical and enzymatic oxidation of uric acid and indicates that electrochemical investigations of the redox behavior of purines can provide unique insights into their biological redox properties.  相似文献

5-Pyrimidylboronic acid and 2-methoxy-5-pyrimidylboronic acid 4 have been synthesised by lithium-halogen exchange reactions on 5-bromopyrimidine and 2-methoxy-5-bromopyrimidine, respectively, followed by reaction with triisopropylborate. Suzuki cross-coupling reactions of 2 and 4 with heteroaryl halides [Na(2)CO(3), Pd(PPh(3))(2)Cl(2), 1,4-dioxane, 95 degrees C] yield heteroarylpyrimidines (heteroaryl = thienyl, quinolyl and pyrimidyl). Two-fold reaction of 2 with 4,6-dichloropyrimidine 12 gave 4,6-bis(5-pyrimidyl)pyrimidine 8(56% yield). Reaction of 4,6-dichloropyrimidine with 2-methoxy-5-pyridylboronic acid gave 4,6-bis(2-methoxy-5-pyridyl)pyrimidine 14 (84% yield). Conversion of into 4,6-bis(2-chloro-5-pyridyl)pyrimidine 15 (63% yield) followed by two-fold Suzuki reaction with 4-tert-butylbenzeneboronic acid gave the penta-arylene derivative 4,6-bis[2-(4-tert-butyl)phenyl-5-pyridyl]pyrimidine 16 (16% yield). Analogous reaction of 12 with 2-methoxy-3-pyridylboronic acid 17 gave 4,6-bis(2-methoxy-3-pyridyl)pyrimidine 18 (64% yield). The X-ray crystal structures of compound 2.0.5H(2)O and compound 18 are reported. The two hydroxyl H atoms in 2 have the usual exo-endo orientation. However, unlike most arylboronic acids, molecule 2 does not form a centrosymmetric hydrogen-bonded dimer. In molecule 18, the pyridine rings form dihedral angles of 39.9 degrees and 22.8 degrees with the central pyrimidine ring.  相似文献

An essential element of implicit solvent models, such as the generalized Born method, is a knowledge of the volume associated with the individual atoms of the solute. Two approaches for determining atomic volumes for the generalized Born model are described; one is based on Voronoi polyhedra and the other, on minimizing the fluctuations in the overall volume of the solute. Volumes to be used with various parameter sets for protein and nucleic acids in the CHARMM force field are determined from a large set of known structures. The volumes resulting from the two different approaches are compared with respect to various parameters, including the size and solvent accessibility of the structures from which they are determined. The synthesis of new hybrid ferrocene and pi-extended tetrathiafulvalene (TTF) donor(1)-pi-donor(2) molecular assemblies 16a-c has been carried out by a Wittig-Horner reaction of the respective phosphonate esters 15a-c with 2-(2-ferrocenylvinyl)-9, 10-anthraquinone (18) prepared by olefination of ferrocenecarboxaldehyde (14) and the anthraquinone phosphonium salt 17. Electrochemical studies show that the D(1)-pi-D(2) (D = donor) molecular assemblies 16a-c essentially retain the redox characteristics of both ferrocene and the pi-extended TTF components and the effects of solvent, temperature, scan rate, and working electrode are significant. Most importantly, pronounced intramolecular electronic interactions between the two donor moieties were observed by cyclic voltammetry and Osteryoung square wave voltammetry in both the ground and charged states. Semiempirical calculations support the electrochemical observations.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

In a planar dielectric waveguide, weak confinement of a propagating mode in a high index core leads to a measurable evanescent interaction with the cladding. In this work, we study the effect of a reorientable anisotropic cladding on the behaviour of Transverse Electric (TE) and Transverse Magnetic (TM) mode polarisations using a liquid crystal (LC)-clad waveguide architecture. The polarised evanescent field of a guided mode interacts with a voltage-tunable birefringent LC cladding to deflect an out-coupled beam. Experimental measurements are coupled with a theoretical framework and show good consistency with simulation results. We isolate the effect of mode confinement by changing the thickness of the high index core. Interactions between the LC index ellipsoid and the mode polarisation are probed by changing the initial alignment of the LC. Finally, we examine the difference in deflection between TE and TM modes, which incorporates both a change in mode confinement and a difference in LC index components.  相似文献

Summary Imprinted polymers as stationary phases for HPLC separations have been the subject of extensive investigations in recent years. In order to aid the rational design of synthetic protocols for the preparation of imprinted polymers, a series of calculations were made to assess the equilibrium concentration of templatemonomer complexes as a function of association constant (K) for the functional groups involved in the interactions and initial concentrations of reactants. This data was then used to predict the selectivity of polymers prepared under different reaction conditions and the model was tested using an experimentally determined value ofK and separation factors taken from the literature.  相似文献

It has been shown that the “internal” isotope distribution within a given molecular species at the natural abundance level is accessible by a new method, SNIF-NMR, which is based on deuterium NMR. Relative internal factors, Ri/j,have been defined which enable the isotope content of a given site, i, to be compared to that of another molecular site, j, taken as the reference. Several referencing methods intended to provide direct access to relative externals, Ti , and absolute, (D/H)i , site-specific parameters, are now discussed from both the theoretical and the experimental points of view. In the intramolecular referencing method, which involves a time-consuming chemical transformation of the sample, the risk exists of more or leas systematic errors resulting from discriminating fractionation effects. However this technique offers, conversely, an interesting way of investigating kinetic isotope effects without the need for specific labelling. In spite of its lower spectral precision the external referencing method has the advantage of being fast and less sensitive to systematic errois and may be used for direct rough routine determinations of the site-specific isotope contents. More precise results can be obtained, at the price of contaminating the sample, when an intermolecular reference is added and signal heights are used, remembering however that the intensity parameters then have no strict physical meaning in terms of absolute isotope contents. The site-specific parameters, Ti and (D/H)i thus accessible, provide new information on the mechanisms of the fractionation effects occurring in natural conditions and examples are considered.  相似文献
