Isotope dilution-thermal ionisation mass spectrometry (ID-TIMS) analysis has been applied to the determination of tin in a fly ash sample supplied by the EC Joint Research Centre (Ispra, Italy). The proposed procedure includes the silica gel/phosphoric acid technique for tin thermal ionisation activation and a strict heating protocol for isotope ratio measurements. Instrumental mass discrimination factor has been previously determined measuring a natural tin standard solution. Spike solution has been prepared from 112Sn-enriched metal and quantified by reverse isotope dilution analysis. Two sample aliquots were spiked and tin was extracted with 4.5 M HCl during 25 min ultrasound exposure time. Due to the complex matrix of this fly ash material, a two-step purification stage using ion-exchange chromatography was required prior TIMS analysis. Obtained results for the two sample-spike blends (10.11 ± 0.55 and 10.50 ± 0.64 μmol g−1) are comparable, both value and uncertainty. Also a good reproducibility is observed between measurements. The proposed ID-TIMS procedure, as a primary method and due to the lack of fly ash reference materials certified for tin content, can be used to validate more routine methodologies applied to tin determination in this kind of samples.  相似文献

A novel reversed-phase HPLC method for the simultaneous determination of active component terbinafine, its one impurity 1-methylaminomethylnaphtalene and three degradation products, β-terbinafine, Z-terbinafine and 4-methyl-terbinafine occurring in pharmaceutical formulations after long-term stability tests, was developed and validated using propylparaben as an internal standard.The chromatographic separation was performed on a NUCLEOSIL 100-5-CN column, mobile phase for separation of all compounds consisted of a mixture of tetrahydrofurane, acetonitrile and citrate buffer pH 4.50 (10:20:70, v/v/v). The analysis time was less than 32 min at flow-rate of 0.8 ml min−1. UV detection was performed at 226 nm. The method was validated and system suitability parameters were investigated. Method robustness and short-term standard solution stability were verified. Limits of detection for terbinafine degradation products/impurity were from 0.023 to 0.098 μg ml−1, limits of quantitation were from 0.078 to 0.327 μg ml−1. The method was applicable for routine determination of terbinafine and all its found impurities of similar structure with sufficient selectivity, precision and accuracy.  相似文献

The interaction of SF(5)CF(3) with vacuum-UV radiation has been investigated by photon induced fluorescence spectroscopy. Total fluorescence yield and dispersed fluorescence spectra of SF(5)CF(3) were recorded in the 200-1000 nm fluorescence window. In all cases, the fluorescence spectra resemble those of CF(3)X (X = H, F, Cl, and Br) molecules. At photon energies below 20 eV, the emission is attributed to the excited CF(3) and CF(2) fragments. The threshold for the CF(3) emission is 10.2 +/- 0.2 eV, giving an upper limit estimate for the SF(5)-CF(3) bond dissociation energy of 3.9 +/- 0.3 eV. The excitation functions of the CF(3) and CF(2) emissions were measured in the photon energy range 13.6-27.0 eV. The resonant structures observed in SF(5)CF(3) are attributed to electronic transitions from valence to Rydberg orbitals, following similar assignments in CF(3)X molecules. The photoabsorption spectrum of SF(5)CF(3) shows features at the same energies, indicating a strong contribution from Rydberg excitations.  相似文献

The electrochemical behaviour of the LiF-La2O3 and LiF-CaF2-La2O3 systems was investigated by means of cyclic voltammetry. Several types of working electrodes (spectrographic pure graphite, W, Mo, Ni, Cu) were used. It was found that chemical reactions take place in the system during the dissolution of lanthanum oxide. The reduction of lithium cations occurred at the most positive potential from the species formed in the melt on ‘inert’ cathodes (W, Mo). The reactive cathodes (Cu, Ni) allowed the lanthanum deposition with depolarisation.  相似文献

A method based on solid-phase microextraction (SPME) and gas chromatography with flame ionization detection (GC-FID) has been optimized for the determination of benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene and xylenes (BTEX) in water released from a waste treatment plant. The extraction step was optimized using fractional factorial and central composite designs including the following experimental factors: saline concentration; extraction time; desorption time; agitation velocity; headspace volume. A multiple function was used to describe the experimental conditions for simultaneous extraction of the compounds. The procedure, based on direct SPME at 50 degrees C, using a polydimethylsiloxane fiber, showed good linearity (r>0.997 over a concentration range 2-200 microg L(-1)) and repeatability (relative standard deviation (RSD)<4.23%) for all compounds, with limits of detection ranging from 0.05 to 0.28 microg L(-1), and limits of quantification ranging from 0.14 to 0.84 microg L(-1). Concentrations of the target compounds in these samples were between 145.8 and 1891 microg L(-1).  相似文献

In this work, two analytical methods based on liquid chromatography coupled to electrospray time-of-flight mass spectrometry (LC/ESI-TOFMS) and tandem mass spectrometry (LC/ESI-MS/MS) are described for the identification, confirmation and quantitation of three insecticides non-authorized in the European Union (nitenpyram, isocarbophos and isofenphos-methyl) but detected in recent monitoring programmes in pepper samples. The proposed methodologies involved a sample extraction procedure using liquid-liquid partition with acetonitrile followed by a cleanup step based on dispersive solid-phase extraction. Recovery studies performed on peppers spiked at different fortification levels (10 and 50 microg kg(-1)) yielded average recoveries in the range 76-100% with relative standard deviation (RSD) (%) values below 10%. Identification, confirmation and quantitation were carried out by LC/TOFMS and LC/MS/MS using a hybrid triple quadrupole linear ion trap (QqLIT) instrument in multiple-reaction monitoring (MRM) mode. The obtained limits of quantitation (LOQs) were in the range 0.1-5 microg kg(-1), depending on each individual technique. Finally, the proposed methods were successfully applied to the analysis of suspected pepper samples.  相似文献

In this work a new liquid chromatography with diode array detection and electrospray ionization mass spectrometry (LC-DAD-ESI-MS) method has been developed for the determination of fumagillin residues in honey. This procedure involves a solid-phase extraction on polymeric cartridges for the isolation of fumagillin from diluted honey. Chromatographic separation of fumagillin was performed in isocratic mode, on a C(18) column (150 mm x 4.60mm i.d., 5 microm), the mobile phase consisted of a mixture of ammonium formate 20mM in water and acetonitrile (61/39, v/v), at 35 degrees C and the flow rate was set at 1.0 mL/min. Average analyte recoveries, influenced by the botanical origin were from 88 to 96% in replica sets of fortified honey samples. The detection limits of the LC-DAD-ESI-MS method were between 24 and 1 microg/kg for clear honeys (rosemary) and between 45 and 4 microg/kg for dark honeys (heather). The developed method has been applied to the analysis of fumagillin residues in honey samples collected from veterinary treated beehives, infected by Nosema ceranae and fed with the technical product at different doses.  相似文献

The use of carbon nanostructures in different modalities is a topic of growing interest. This article provides a systematic comparison of surfactant-coated single-wall carbon nanotubes, multi-wall carbon nanotubes and C(60) fullerenes as pseudostationary phases (PSPs) in electrokinetic chromatography. The differences on the electrophoretic behaviour as a function of the pseudostationary phase for phenolic compounds, triazines and nitroimidazole derivatives have been explored. Phenolic compounds, triazines and nitroimidazole derivatives has been selected as model compounds of aromatic compounds, pi-exceeding heteroaromatic compounds and pi-deficient heteroaromatic compounds, respectively. Resolution was also evaluated on the basis of the differences in the electrophoretic behaviour and in this sense the best PSP for each group of compounds can be proposed.  相似文献

We have studied the ability of an alpha-imino glyoxylamide derived from (S, S)-(+)-pseudoephedrine as a valuable chiral electrophile for the preparation of alpha-amino carbonyl compounds. In this context, the addition of Grignard reagents to the azomethine moiety of this chiral electrophile afforded the expected alpha-amino amide adducts in good yields and diastereoselectivities. Moreover, these adducts have been transformed into enantioenriched alpha-amino ketones by exploiting the ability of pseudoephedrine amides to undergo selective monoaddition to the carbamoyl group with organolithium reagents.  相似文献
