Poly(3-hydroxybutyrate), PHB has been structurally
modified through reaction with maleic anhydride, MA. Transesterification reaction
was carried out fixing the PHB and MA and besides time and temperature the
concentration of the triethylamine (used as catalyst) was changed. Glass transition,
melting and crystallization temperature obtained from DSC curves and thermal
degradation temperatures obtained from TG traces were used to evaluate the
influence of the reaction conditions on the modification of PHB according
to factorial design. On the base of the results the optimum conditions are
to perform the PHB modification reaction with MA reaction at 110°C for

This study presents the influences of additional guest molecules such as C2H6, C3H8, and CO2 on methane hydrates regarding their thermal behavior. For this purpose, the onset temperatures of decomposition as well as the enthalpies of dissociation were determined for synthesized multicomponent gas hydrates in the range of 173-290 K at atmospheric pressure using a Calvet heat-flow calorimeter. Furthermore, the structures and the compositions of the hydrates were obtained using X-ray diffraction and Raman spectroscopy as well as hydrate prediction program calculations. It is shown that the onset temperature of decomposition of both sI and sII hydrates tends to increase with an increasing number of larger guest molecules than methane occupying the large cavities. The results of the calorimetric measurements also indicate that the molar dissociation enthalpy depends on the guest-to-cavity size ratio and the actual concentration of the guest occupying the large cavities of the hydrate. To our knowledge, this is the first study that observes this behavior using calorimetrical measurements on mixed gas hydrates at these temperature and pressure conditions. 相似文献

Long chain alkanethiols self-assembled monolayers (SAMs) formed on Au microelectrodes showed higher sensitivity towards defects than the same monolayers on macroelectrodes. The analysis of cyclic voltammetry and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) experiments performed on covered microelectrodes were consistent with the formation of pinholes of about 10 nm in diameter. Moreover, the EIS data exhibited a specific behavior that was interpreted invoking the short circuiting of the pinholes impedance by the surrounding surface of the microelectrode in the high frequency domain, whereas in the low frequencies, the surface covered by the SAM was assume to act as an insulator. 相似文献

Alkyl 2‐cyanoacrylates (CAs) are primarily used as instant adhesives, including those sold under the Loctite brand. The adhesive action can be inhibited with acid stabilizers allowing radical polymerization to be employed. The following article details the first attempted controlled/living radical polymerization of alkyl CAs: Reversible addition fragmentation chain transfer (RAFT) polymerization mediated by a poly(methyl methacrylate) dithiobenzoate macroRAFT agent for three different CA monomers (ethyl 2‐cyanoacrylate, n‐butyl 2‐cyanoacrylate, and 2‐phenylethyl cyanoacrylate) allowed the preparation of the first block copolymers of this challenging but commercially important monomer class. A signed graph has a plus or minus sign on each edge. A simple cycle is positive or negative depending on whether it contains an even or odd number of negative edges, respectively. We consider embeddings of a signed graph in the projective plane for which a simple cycle is essential if and only if it is negative. We characterize those signed graphs that have such a projective-planar embedding. We introduce the concept of s–formal minimal model as an extension of formality. We prove that any orientable compact manifold M, of dimension 2n or (2n−1), is formal if and only if M is (n−1)–formal. The formality and the hard Lefschetz property are studied for the Donaldson submanifolds of symplectic manifolds
constructed in [13]. This study permits us to show an example of a Donaldson symplectic submanifold of dimension eight which
is formal simply connected and does not satisfy the hard Lefschetz theorem.
