We report the formation of highly stable Langmuir-Blodgett (LB) organic steps made with a hexa-adduct fullerene-based amphiphile. This amphiphile forms films of excellent quality, with a very low roughness, that are structurally stable: X-ray reflectivity spectra recorded on fresh and 12-month-old samples are undiscernible. Such a behavior contrasts with that of more traditional amphiphiles, which are unfortunately well-known for their instability in time. The stability of the films stems, among others, from the spheroidal shape of the constitutive molecules. These experiments show that it is possible to circumvent the major drawback of LB films and to prepare materials more suited for applications. We show that the LB film prepared with this fullerene derivative can successfully be used as thickness gauges for atomic force microscopy or light microscopy studies.  相似文献

Organic monolithic stationary phases were synthesized in fused-silica capillaries. They were prepared by in situ polymerization under UV irradiation of various alkyl acrylates, 1,3-butanediol diacrylate, and 2-acrylamido-2-methyl-1-propanesulfonic acid in a ternary porogenic solvent. The resulting stationary phases were tested in CEC. The influence of UV irradiation energy on the resulting separative performances of the monoliths was studied. It was thus demonstrated that the use of hexyl acrylate rather than butyl acrylate and lauryl methacrylate gives highly efficient monoliths (more than 300 000 plates per meter) with optimized EOF. It was also confirmed that the mobile phase ionic strength may affect significantly the separation efficiency. The influence of the nature of the mobile phase organic modifier (ACN or methanol) on EOF, retention, efficiency, and selectivity was studied and differences were observed. Finally, the performances of monolithic stationary phases developed and optimized for CEC separations were evaluated in nanoLC.  相似文献

A series of monocyclic glycoamidines bearing different exocyclic amine, alcohol, or alkyl functionalities and bicyclic amidines derived from D-glucose and D-mannose were synthesized and tested as inhibitors of various glycosidases. All the prepared compounds demonstrated good to excellent inhibition toward glycosidases. In particular, the biscationic D-mannoamidine 9b bearing an exocyclic ethylamine moiety proved to be a selective competitive inhibitor of alpha- and beta-mannosidases (K(i) = 6 nM) making it the most potent inhibitor of these glycosidases reported to date. A favorable B(2,5) boat conformation might explain the selectivity of mannosidase inhibition compared to other glycosidases.  相似文献

In this study, ultra performance liquid chromatography (UPLC) using pressures up to 1,000 bar and columns packed with sub-2 microm particles has been combined with high temperature mobile phase conditions (up to 90 degrees C). By using high temperature ultra performance liquid chromatography (HT-UPLC), it is possible to drastically decrease the analysis time without loss in efficiency. The stability and chromatographic behavior of sub-2 microm particles were evaluated at high temperature and high pressure. The chromatographic support remained stable after 500 injections (equivalent to 7,500 column volumes) and plate height curves demonstrated the capability of HT-UPLC to obtain fast separations. For example, a separation of nine doping agents was performed in less than 1 min with sub-2 microm particles at 90 degrees C. Furthermore, a shorter column (30 mm length) was used and allowed a separation of eight pharmaceutical compounds in only 40s.  相似文献

We give a new presentation of two results concerning synchronized automata. The first one gives a linear bound on the synchronization delay of complete local automata. The second one gives a cubic bound for the minimal length of a synchronizing pair in a complete synchronized unambiguous automaton. The NASICON compound Li(0.2)Nd(0.8/3)Zr(2)(PO(4))(3), synthesized by a sol-gel process, has been structurally characterized by TEM and powder diffraction (neutron and X-ray). It crystallizes in the space group R3[combining macron] (No. 148): at room temperature, the Nd(3+) ions present an ordered distribution in the [Zr(2)(PO(4))(3)](-) network which leads to a doubling of the classical c parameter (a = 8.7160(3) A, c = 46.105(1) A). Above 600 degrees C, Nd(3+) diffusion occurs leading at 1000 degrees C to the loss of the supercell. This reversible cationic diffusion in a preserved 3D [Zr(2)(PO(4))(3)](-) network is followed through thermal X-ray diffraction. Ionic conductivity measurements have been undertaken by impedance spectroscopy, while some results concerning the sintering of the NASICON compound are given.  相似文献
