The alditol acetate method is a common procedure for sugar analysis, also applied to determine the substituent distribution in monomer units of polysaccharide ethers like methyl cellulose by gas liquid chromatography. Consisting of several preparation and work-up steps this procedure is both time consuming and prone to side reactions that promote discrimination of single constituents, especially when no peralkylation step is performed prior to hydrolysis. As a consequence results scatter in dependence on individual treatment and conditions. In the context of this work these critical points were overcome by strict but simplified work-up procedures and using acid instead of alkaline catalyzed acetylation. Under the acidic conditions the tedious removal of borate is no longer necessary and a reduced time requirement was achieved as well as good reproducibility. Comparison with independent reference methods excluded a systematic error of the method and confirmed the results obtained. Without peralkylation, i.e. in the presence of free hydroxyl groups, another fast modification of the method using DMSO as solvent, no removal of borate, and 1-methylimidazole as catalyst for acetylation was found to produce a systematic error.  相似文献

This article presents the results of investigation into receiving amide modification agents of smectic clays, used as nanofillers in polymer nanocomposites. Prepared materials were obtained on the base of terephthalic and isophthalic acids and simple aliphatic amines. Such structure makes them good layered silicates modifying agents as well as makes them well affiliate to structure of polymers containing aromatic, carbonyl, amide, etc. groups. Obtained compounds were introduced into clays’ structure in protonated form, according to formulated method. Conducted research confirmed that the modification of montmorillonite clay (MMT) with received compounds had taken place. In order to establish that fact elementary analysis and X-ray diffraction (XRD) methods were used. Modificator molecules must display thermal resistance in full range of polymer processing temperatures. To investigate these properties the Thermogravimetric analysis (TG) of obtained compounds was carried out. These studies indicate that among the obtained compounds there were the ones with thermal stability over 523 K. Thermal resistance makes it possible for these substances to be used in poly(ethylene terephthalate) processing.  相似文献

We have investigated the cannibalistic self-trapping reaction of an ortho-benzyne derivative generated from 1,11-bis(p-tolyl)undeca-1,3,8,10-tetrayne in an HDDA reaction. Without adding any specific trapping agent, the highly reactive benzyne is trapped by another bisdiyne molecule in at least three different modes. We have isolated and characterized the resulting products and performed high-level calculations concerning the reaction mechanism. During the cannibalistic self-trapping process, either a C≡C triple bond or an sp–sp3 C−C single bond is cleaved. Up to seven rings and nine C−C bonds are formed starting from two 1,11-bis(p-tolyl)undeca-1,3,8,10-tetrayne molecules. Our experiments and calculations provide considerable insight into the variety of reaction pathways which the ortho-benzyne derivative, generated from a bisdiyne, can take when reacting with another bisdiyne molecule.  相似文献

Electron paramagnetic resonance was used to monitor free radicals and paramagnetic species like Fe, Mn, Cu generation, stability and status in Asparagus officinalis infected by common pathogens Fusarium proliferatum and F. oxysporum. Occurrence of F. proliferatum and F. oxysporum, level of free radicals and other paramagnetic species, as well as salicylic acid and mycotoxins content in roots and stems of seedlings were estimated on the second and fourth week after inoculation. In the first term free and total salicylic acid contents were related to free radicals level in stem (P?=?0.010 and P?=?0.033, respectively). Concentration of Fe(3+) ions in porphyrin complexes (g?=?2.3, g?=?2.9) was related to the species of pathogen. There was no significant difference between Mn(2+) concentrations in stem samples; however, the level of free radicals in samples inoculated with F. proliferatum was significantly higher when compared to F. oxysporum.  相似文献
