Seismic denoising using curvelet analysis   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
A curvelet is a new and effective spectral transform, that allows sparse representations of complex data. It has many applications in several fields, including denoising, wave propagation in disordered media and pattern recognition. This spectral technique is based on directional basis functions that represent objects having discontinuities along smooth curves. In this work we apply this technique to the removal of Ground Roll, which is an undesired feature signal present in seismic data obtained by sounding the geological structures of the Earth. In this methodology the original seismic data is decomposed by curvelet transform in scales and angular domains. For each scale the curvelet denoising technique allows a very efficient separation of the Ground Roll in angle sections. The precise identification of the Ground Roll pattern allows an effective erasing of its coefficients. In contrast to conventional denoising techniques we do not use any artificial attenuation factor to decrease the amplitude of the Ground Roll coefficients. We have estimated that, depending on the scale, around 75% of the energy of the strong undesired signal is removed.  相似文献

We define the density of a numerical semigroup and study the densities of all the maximal embedding dimension numerical semigroups with a fixed Frobenius number, as well as the possible Frobenius number for a fixed density. We also prove that for a given possible density, in the sense of Wilf’s conjecture, one can find a maximal embedding dimension numerical semigroup with that density.  相似文献

Analyses of soils, irrigation waters, agriculture products (lettuce), green pasture, and cheese were performed in samples collected in the area of the old Urgeiriça uranium mine and milling facilities, Centre-North of Portugal, in order to assess the transfer of uranium series radionuclides in the environment and to man. Soils close to milling tailings display an enhancement of radioactivity. In the drainage basin of the stream Ribeira da Pantanha, receiving drainage from the tailings piles and discharges from the acid mine water treatment plant, there was enhancement of uranium series radionuclide concentrations in water and suspended matter. Agriculture products from kitchen gardens irrigated with water from the Ribeira da Pantanha show an increase of radioactivity, mainly due to uranium isotopes. Agriculture products from other kitchen gardens in this area, irrigated with groundwater, as well pasture and cheese produced locally from sheep milk did not show enhanced radionuclide concentrations. In the Urgeiriça area, some soils display radionuclide concentrations higher than soils in reference areas and, in agriculture products grown there, 226Ra was the radionuclide more concentrated by vegetables. Through ingestion of these products 226Ra may be the main contributor to the increment of radiation dose received by local population.  相似文献
