Repetitive guanine‐rich nucleic acid sequences play a crucial role in maintaining genome stability and the cell life cycle and represent potential targets for regulatory drugs. Recently, it has been demonstrated that guanine‐based ligands with a porphyrin core can be used as markers of G‐quadruplex assemblies in cell tissues. Herein, model systems of guanine‐based ligands are explored by DFT methods. The energies of formation of modified guanine tetrads and those of modified tetrads stacked on the top of natural guanine tetrads have been calculated. The interaction energy has been decomposed into contributions from hydrogen bonding, stacking, and ion coordination and a twist–rise potential energy scan has been performed to find the individual local minima. Energy decomposition analysis reveals the impact of various substituents (F, Cl, Br, I, Me, NMe2) on individual energy terms. In addition, cooperative reinforcement in forming the modified and stacked tetrads, as well as the frontier orbitals participating in the hydrogen‐bonding framework involving the HOMO–LUMO gap between the occupied σHOMO on the proton‐accepting C=O and =N? groups and unoccupied σLUMO on the N?H groups, has been studied. The investigated systems are demonstrated to have a potential in ligand development, mainly due to stacking enhancement compared with natural guanine, which is used as a reference.  相似文献

Spectra of isobutylene with SnCl4 were studied at the temperature of 113°K in the dark and under illumination. Radical-cations of isobutylene are formed by irradiation of the isobutylene–SnCl4 mixture in n-heptane substantially more slowly than in the isobutylene–TiCl4 mixture. Polymerization of isobutylene occurs after increasing the temperature up to the melting point of this mixture. The yield of polymer depends on the duration of preirradiation, while the molecular weight of polyisobutylene (M η) does not depend on the preirradiation of reaction mixture.  相似文献

The prediction of soil metal phytoavailability using the chemical extractions is a conventional approach routinely used in soil testing. The adequacy of such soil tests for this purpose is commonly assessed through a comparison of extraction results with metal contents in relevant plants. In this work, the fractions of selected risk metals (Al, As, Cd, Cu, Fe, Mn, Ni, Pb, Zn) that can be taken up by various plants were obtained by optimized BCR (Community Bureau of Reference) three-step sequential extraction procedure (SEP) and by single 0.5 mol L(-1) HCl extraction. These procedures were validated using five soil and sediment reference materials (SRM 2710, SRM 2711, CRM 483, CRM 701, SRM RTH 912) and applied to significantly different acidified soils for the fractionation of studied metals. The new indicative values of Al, Cd, Cu, Fe, Mn, P, Pb and Zn fractional concentrations for these reference materials were obtained by the dilute HCl single extraction. The influence of various soil genesis, content of essential elements (Ca, Mg, K, P) and different anthropogenic sources of acidification on extraction yields of individual risk metal fractions was investigated. The concentrations of studied elements were determined by atomic spectrometry methods (flame, graphite furnace and hydride generation atomic absorption spectrometry and inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry). It can be concluded that the data of extraction yields from first BCR SEP acid extractable step and soil-plant transfer coefficients can be applied to the prediction of qualitative mobility of selected risk metals in different soil systems.  相似文献

Various reaction paths of the P-C bond cleavage of alpha-aminophosphonates in acidic media, resulting in the derivatives of phosphonic acid, has been investigated using density functional level of theories in the gas phase as well as in aqueous medium. Dimethyl (alpha-anilinobenzyl)phosphonate has been used as the model molecule and our investigation confirms a three steps process including protonation, P-C bond cleavage, and the transformation of the products from the final transition state (imine cation and H-phosphonate) through hydrolysis. The most favorable reaction path starts from the amino group protonation, followed by a proton transfer through N-H...O(P) hydrogen bond, and the P-C bond cleavage from the resulting protonated structure. Explicit inclusion of water molecules indicated that two waters are needed for the P-C bond cleavage, and the calculated mechanistic paths in this hydrated model are similar to those of the aqueous solvation model.  相似文献

The electrochemical performance of LiFePO4/C composites in lithium cells is closely correlated to pressed pellet conductivities measured by AC impedance methods. These composite conductivities are a strong function not only of the amount of carbon but of its structure and distribution. Ideally, the amount of carbon in composites should be minimal (less than about 2 wt%) so as not to decrease the energy density unduly. This is particularly important for plug-in hybrid electric vehicle applications (PHEVs) where both high power and moderate energy density are required. Optimization of the carbon structure, particularly the sp2/sp3 and disordered/graphene (D/G) ratios, improves the electronic conductivity while minimizing the carbon amount. Manipulation of the carbon structure can be achieved via the use of synthetic additives including iron-containing graphitization catalysts. Additionally, combustion synthesis techniques allow co-synthesis of LiFePO4 and carbon fibers or nanotubes, which can act as “nanowires” for the conduction of current during cell operation.  相似文献

Two polymeric complexes: catena(μ-CrO4-O,O′)[Co(HIm)3H2O] (1) and catena(μ-CrO4-O,O′)[Co0.43Ni0.57(HIm)3H2O] (2) (where HIm=imidazole) with a cis-bridging coordination mode of the CrO4 2− anion have been synthesized and characterized by X-ray and spectroscopic methods. These crystals were isolated from nine systems of varying reagent molar ratios and three excluding anions: Cl, NO3 and SO4 2− exclusively as mer [M(HIm)3O3]-type isomers. The unit cell of these isostructural complexes (monoclinic crystal system P21 /n) contains two independent helixes, left- and right handed, stabilized by intrahelical and interhelical hydrogen bonding and π–π interaction between pairs of the imidazole rings from neighbouring helixes. The Raman spectra at 77 K of 1 and 2 deconvoluted into lorentzian components revealed the block-type polymeric structure of the complexes. Moreover, the solution studies at millimolar concentrations of 1 and 2 indicated their complete decomposition in water. Four K electronic spectral analysis of the crystals (band deconvolution into gaussian components) enhanced with the data obtained in the polarized light allowed for assignment of the bands to the respective d–d transition (D4h symmetry). It was found that the metallic centres are independently absorbing species, which supports the suggestion of a block-type structure of the polymers. The respective crystal field parameters for Co and Ni were calculated.  相似文献

Non-isothermal chemiluminescence measurements in nitrogen and isothermal measurements in oxygen were used for the evaluation of degradation in pre-oxidized polyethylene either pure or containing Mn-based pro-oxidant additives. The results were compared with infrared spectroscopy data. Chemiluminescence measurements of pure polyethylene and polyethylene with additive made it possible to calculate the set of rate constants, based on the Bolland-Gee oxidation scheme. The oxidation rate constants of polyethylene with additive were significantly higher, while the activation energy of the process appeared lower (65 kJ mol−1), than those of pure polyethylene. The method provides an access to study oxidation processes during the induction period of oxidation when infrared spectroscopy cannot provide sufficient information.  相似文献

Biological activity of thioaurones was not tested so far and the group constitute completely unexplored source of new molecules of pharmacological interest. We report synthesis and evaluation of cytotoxic activity of thioaurone derivatives bearing p-hydroquinone system in ring A. Their activity was found to depend strongly on substitution pattern, so eventually both the activity and pharmacokinetic parameters of the molecules could be tailored by further structural modifications.  相似文献
