The axially dissymmetric diphosphines (?)-(R)- and (+)-(S)-(6-6′-dimethylbiphenyl-2,2′-diyl)bis(diphenyl-phosphine) ((?)-(R)- 10 and (+)-(S)- 10 ; ‘BIPHEMP’) have been synthesized, starting from (R)- and (S)-6,6′-dimethylbiphenyl-2,2′-diamine ((R)- and(S)- 16 ), respectively, via Sandmeyer reaction, liathiation, and phosphinylation. Moreover, racemic 4,4′- dimethyl- and 4,4′-bis(dimethylamino)-substituted analogues 11 and 12 respectively, and the 6,6′-bridged analogues 1,11-bis(diphenylphosphino)-5,7-dihydrodibenz[c,e]oxepin (13) were synthesized and resolved into optically pure (R)- and(S)-enantiomers via complexation with di-μ-chlorob is {(R)-2-[1-(dimethylamino)ethyl]pheny-C? N}dipalladium(II) ((R)- 18 ). The molecular structures of the diphosphines (S)- 10 and (R)- 13 and of two derived cationic Rh(I) complexes,[Rh((S)- 10 )(nbd)]BF4 and [Rh((R)- 13 )(nbd)]BF 4 were determined by x-ray analyses. Absolute configurations were established for (+)-(S)- 10 by X-ray analyses of both the free diphosphine and of the derived Rh(I) complex, and for (?)-(R)- 13 by X-ray analysis of the derived Rh(I) complex. Configurational assignments for the substituted BIPHEMP analogues 11 12 were achieved by means of 1H-NMR comparisons. The BIPHEMP ligand 10 and analogues 11 , 12 and 13 are the first examples of optically active bis(triaylphosphines) containing the axially dissymmetric biphenyl moiety. All these new diphosphines proved to be excellent asymmetry-inducing ligands in Rh(I)-catalyzed isomerizations of N,N-diethylnerylamine affording citronellat enamine of 98-99% ee.  相似文献

Excessive UV solar radiation exposure causes human health risks; therefore, the study of multifunctional filters is important to skin UV protective ability and also to other beneficial activities to the human organism, such as reduction of reactive oxygen species (ROS) responsible for cellular damages. Potential multifunctional filters were obtained by intercalating of ferulate anions into layered simple metal hydroxides (LSH) through anion exchange and precipitation at constant pH methods. Ultrasound treatment was used in order to investigate the structural changes in LSH-ferulate materials. Structural and spectroscopic analyses show the formation of layered materials composed by a mixture of LSH intercalated with ferulate anions, where carboxylate groups of ferulate species interact with LSH layers. UV-VIS absorption spectra and in vitro SPF measurements indicate that LSH-ferulate systems have UV shielding capacity, mainly UVB protection. The results of reactive species assays show the ability of layered compounds in capture DPPH, ABTS•+, ROO, and HOCl/OCl reactive species. LSH-ferulate materials exhibit antioxidant activity and singular optical properties that enable their use as multifunctional filters.  相似文献

Coordination of 4'-(C6H4-p-X)-2,2':6',2'-terpyridines [X = NO2, NBu2, (E)-CH=CH-C6H4-p-NBu2, (E,E)-(CH=CH)2-C6H4-p-NMe2] to Zn(II), Ru(III), and Ir(III) metal centers induces a significant enhancement of the absolute value of the second-order nonlinear optical (NLO) response of the terpyridine, measured by means of both electric field induced second harmonic generation and solvatochromic methods. By varying the nature of the metal center, the enhanced second-order NLO response shifts from positive to negative. Such a shift is controlled by electronic charge-transfer transitions, such as metal-to-ligand or ligand-to-metal transitions, in addition to the intraligand charge transfer. The enhancement generated by coordination is also controlled by the chelation effect and by fine-tuning of the ancillary ligands.  相似文献

Different carbonyls are formed after CO adsorption at ambient temperature on a Pt-Na-mordenite (Pt-Na-MOR) sample. Pt(3+)(CO)(2) dicarbonyls (nu(s) at 2205 cm(-1) and nu(as) at 2167 cm(-1)) are decomposed without formation of monocarbonyls. The respective mixed-ligand species, Pt(3+)((12)CO)((13)CO), formed after (12)CO-(13)CO coadsorption, display bands at 2192 and 2131 cm(-1), in excellent agreement with the theoretically calculated values. Pt(2+)-CO species absorb at 2145 cm(-1) and are not able to accept a second CO molecule. Pt(+)-CO carbonyls are characterized by a band at 2111 cm(-1). Under CO equilibrium pressure, these species are converted into dicarbonyls (nu(s) at 2135 cm(-1) and nu(as) at 2101 cm(-1)). The respective mixed-ligand species, Pt(+)((12)CO)((13)CO), manifest bands at 2123 and 2069 cm(-1), in good agreement again with the theory. Different carbonyls of metallic platinum are observed below 2100 cm(-)(1). In addition, weakly adsorbed CO was registered as Na(+)-CO complexes (2177 and 2165 cm(-1)) and Na(+)-OC-Na(+) species (2138 cm(-1)). It was found that during desorption of CO platinum was reduced, ultimately to metal. However, heating in a NO + O(2) mixture leads to reoxidation of the metal particles and restoration of the initial state of the sample.  相似文献

The relative activities of a low-surface crystalline and high-surface amorphous LaOCl, further denoted as S1 and S2, have been compared for the destructive adsorption of CCl4. It was found that the intrinsic activity of S2 is higher than that of S1. Both samples were characterized with X-ray diffraction (XRD), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), N2-physisorption, and Raman and infrared (IR) spectroscopy. IR was used in combination with CO2, CO, and methanol as probe molecules. The CO2 experiments showed that different carbonate species are formed on both materials. For S1, a high surface concentration of bidentate carbonate species and a lower concentration of monodentate carbonate were observed. In the case of S2, bulk carbonates were present together with bridged carbonates. CO adsorption shows that S2 and S1 have very similar Lewis acid sites. However, methanol adsorption experiments showed that S2 had a higher number of stronger Lewis acid sites than S1 and that twofold coordinated methoxy species were more strongly bound than threefold coordinated methoxy species. Because of the analogy between methanol dissociation and the removal of the first chlorine atom in the destructive adsorption of CCl4, the sites enabling twofold coordination were likely to be the same Lewis acid sites actively involved in the destructive adsorption of CCl4. La2O3 was less active than the two LaOCl materials, and therefore, the intrinsic activity of the catalyst increases as the strength of the Lewis acid sites increases. S2 contains more chlorine at the surface than S1, which is expressed by the higher number of sites enabling twofold coordination. Moreover, this explains the difference in destructive adsorption capacity for CCl4 that was observed for the samples S1 and S2. Since LaCl3, being the most acidic phase, is not active for the destructive adsorption of CCl4, basic oxygen atoms, however, remain needed to stabilize the reaction intermediate CCl3 as La-O-CCl3.  相似文献

Progress in near-field optical spectroscopy research on metal nanoparticles demands a better understanding of the role of particle-particle and tip-sample interactions. In this perspective, we investigate theoretically, at a very moderate level of sophistication, the optical behavior of simple silver nanoparticle aggregates, in terms of a formalism involving a multipolar expansion of the fields involved, along with a simplified model for the optical behavior of nanostructures previously developed. In particular, the tip-sample interaction is taken into account roughly, treating the tip as an additional, single particle, characterized by proper dielectric behavior.  相似文献

Reaction kinetics studies were conducted for the conversions of ethanol and acetic acid over silica-supported Pt and Pt/Sn catalysts at temperatures from 500 to 600 K. Addition of Sn to Pt catalysts inhibits the decomposition of ethanol to CO, CH4, and C2H6, such that PtSn-based catalysts are active for dehydrogenation of ethanol to acetaldehyde. Furthermore, PtSn-based catalysts are selective for the conversion of acetic acid to ethanol, acetaldehyde, and ethyl acetate, whereas Pt catalysts lead mainly to decomposition products such as CH4 and CO. These results are interpreted using density functional theory (DFT) calculations for various adsorbed species and transition states on Pt(111) and Pt3Sn(111) surfaces. The Pt3Sn alloy slab was selected for DFT studies because results from in situ (119)Sn M?ssbauer spectroscopy and CO adsorption microcalorimetry of silica-supported Pt/Sn catalysts indicate that Pt-Sn alloy is the major phase present. Accordingly, results from DFT calculations show that transition-state energies for C-O and C-C bond cleavage in ethanol-derived species increase by 25-60 kJ/mol on Pt3Sn(111) compared to Pt(111), whereas energies of transition states for dehydrogenation reactions increase by only 5-10 kJ/mol. Results from DFT calculations show that transition-state energies for CH3CO-OH bond cleavage increase by only 12 kJ/mol on Pt3Sn(111) compared to Pt(111). The suppression of C-C bond cleavage in ethanol and acetic acid upon addition of Sn to Pt is also confirmed by microcalorimetric and infrared spectroscopic measurements at 300 K of the interactions of ethanol and acetic acid with Pt and PtSn on a silica support that had been silylated to remove silanol groups.  相似文献

A new high-performance liquid chromatographic/electrospray ionization tandem mass spectrometric (HPLC/ESI-MS/MS) method was developed for the simultaneous quantification of 5-fluorouracil (5FU), methotrexate (MTX) and cyclophosphamide (CP) in environmental samples. These compounds, commonly used in the treatment of cancer, are recognized as genotoxic. In order to estimate the occupational exposure of hospital personnel handling these drugs, wipe samples were taken from the working surfaces and directly analyzed (with trophosphamide as internal standard) using a reversed-phase capillary column and MS/MS detection. This is the first HPLC/MS/MS method for the simultaneous determination of 5FU, MTX and CP. The present method offers high sensitivity, with detection limits of 1.1 microg l(-1) for MTX and CP and 33.3 microg l(-1) for 5FU, avoiding any sample preconcentration procedure. Rapidity, specificity, high accuracy (mean values between 92.4 and 99.9%) and precision (mean RSD values between 3.4 and 12.1%) make the method suitable for the routine determination of these three antineoplastic drugs.  相似文献

In this study, we present the aqueous solution behavior of two luminescent lanthanide antenna complexes (Eu3+? 1 , Dy3+? 9 ) with different ligand topologies in the presence of dipicolinic acid (DPA, pyridine‐2,6‐dicarboxylic acid). Macrocyclic (1,4,7,10‐tetraazacyclododecane‐1,4,7‐triacetic acid, DO3A, 9 ) and acyclic (1,4,7‐triazaheptane‐1,1,7,7‐tetraacetic acid, DTTA, 1 ) ligands have been selected to form a ratiometric pair in which Dy3+? 9 acts as a reference and Eu3+? 1 acts as a probe for the recognition of DPA. The pair of luminescent complexes in water reveals the capability to work as a DPA luminescent sensor. The change of emission intensity of Eu3+ indicates the occurrence of a new sensitization path for the lanthanide cation through excitation of DPA. NMR evidence implies the presence of free 1 and mass spectrometry shows the formation of emitting [EuDPA2]? as a result of a ligand exchange reaction.  相似文献
