Base-promoted reaction of 11-methylenepentacyclo[5.4.0.02,6.03,10.05, 9]undecan-8-one (5) with diethyl diazomethylphosphonate when performed in the presence of excess cyclohexene, resulted in the formation of the corresponding cycloalkylidenecarbene, 6, which subsequently was trapped in situ to afford 8-methylene-11-(7-bicyclo[4.1.0]heptylidene)pentacyclo-[5.4.0.02, 6.03, 10.05, 9]undecane (7, obtained in 44% yield as a mixture of exo, endo isomers). Subsequent reaction of 7 with dichlorocarbene (generated under phase transfer catalytic conditions) produced the corresponding mono- and di-:CCl2 adducts [i.e., 8 (64% yield) and 9 (5% yield), respectively]. The structure of 9 was established unequivocally via application of single crystal X-ray analysis: Triclinic, P1¯, a = 6.276(2), b = 8.700(2), c = 18.550(3) Å, = 76.52(3), = 87.59(3), = 70.88(4)° Z = 2; D calc 1.486 g cm–3.  相似文献

In the second part of our two-part paper, we estimated the accuracy and robustness of the approximated equations for the mean radiance that were derived in Part I. In our analysis we used the three-dimensional (3D) cloud fields provided by (i) the stochastic Boolean model, (ii) large-eddy simulation model and (iii) satellite cloud retrieval. The accuracy of the obtained equations was evaluated by comparing the ensemble-averaged radiative properties that were obtained by the numerical averaging method (reference) and the analytical averaging method (approximation). The robustness of these equations was estimated by comparing the domain-averaged radiative properties obtained by using (i) the full 3D cloud structure (reference) and (ii) the bulk cloud statistics (approximation). It was shown that the approximated equations could provide reasonable accuracy (∼15%) for both the ensemble- and domain-averaged radiative properties.  相似文献

Monodisperse polystyrene latexes are prepared by seeded emulsion polymerization; however, sizes larger than 2μm are difficult to prepare because of the creaming and settling of the particles, and their sensitivity to mechanical shear. Preparation in space would obviate the creaming and settling, and allow agitation just sufficient for good heat transfer and mixing. Three polymerizations yielding 3-5μm size particles were carried out successfully on the third flight of the “Columbia” launched March 22, 1982; however, four polymerizations yielding sizes up to 10μm on the fourth flight launched June 27, 1982, were incomplete owing to apparatus malfunction. The results of these polymerizations and the prospects of developing a preparative space process are reviewed  相似文献

Summary Para-hydroxybenzoic acid (p-HBA) has been used as indirect UV detection buffer in capillary zone electrophoresis (CZE). Being an UV-absorbing dibasic acid, p-HBA provides both the necessary buffering for pH control over a wide range and UV absorbance for indirect detection. With sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) as a probe, a CZE method using p-HBA solution as running buffer was developed to analyze anions, especially ones with low electrophoretic mobilities. The method was used to separate homologous series of sulfonates, SDS in a formulation sample, and SDS in a standard.  相似文献
