The amplitudes of the relaxation curves, as obtained by the Temperature-jump method have been used to measure simultaneously equilibrium constant and enthalpy for the reaction of complex formation of Ni2+ ion by 2,6-dihydroxobenzoic acid in the presence of a buffer. The experiments have been performed by changing the concentration of metal ion at constant ligand concentration andpH as in a complexometric titration. The points of such ‘dynamic titrations’ have been analysed by means of the concept of ‘normal reactions’ which enabled us to transform a set of coupled individual steps into a set of kinetically independent reactions. The potentialities of the dynamic titrations are discussed.  相似文献

Fast catalytic hydroxylation of hydrocarbons with ruthenium porphyrins   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
Ruthenium porphyrin complexes such as carbonylruthenium(II) tetrakispentafluorophenylporphyrin [Ru(II)(TPFPP)(CO)] were found to be efficient catalysts for the hydroxylation of alkanes in the presence of 2,6-dichloropyridine N-oxide as the oxidant under mild, nonacidic conditions. Up to 14 800 turnovers (TO) and rates of 800 TO/min were obtained for the hydroxylation of adamantane. The hydroxylation of cis-decalin afforded cis-9-decalol and cis-decalin-9,10-diol, exclusively, thus, excluding a long-lived radicals mechanism. The kinetics of product evolution in a typical catalytic oxygenation showed an initial induction period followed by a fast, apparently zero-order phase with maximum rates and high efficiencies. Deuterium isotope effects (kH/kD) in the range of 4.2-6.4 were found for the hydroxylation of alkanes. A Hammett treatment of the data for the oxidation of para-substituted toluene derivatives showed a linear correlation with a highly negative rho+ value of -2.0. On the basis of kinetic and spectroscopic evidence, Ru(VI)(TPFPP)(O)2, Ru(II)(TPFPP)(CO), and Ru(IV)(TPFPP)Cl2 observed during catalysis were ruled out as candidates for the active catalyst responsible for the high efficiencies and turnover rates in the oxidation reactions. The fastest rates of adamantane hydroxylation with 2,6-dichloropyridine N-oxide were achieved by the reductive activation of Ru(IV)(TPFPP)Cl2 with a zinc amalgam. This redox activation is consistent with the formation of an active Ru(III) intermediate in situ by a one-electron reduction of the Ru(IV) porphyrin. EPR spectra characteristic of Ru(III) have been observed upon the reduction of Ru(IV)(TPFPP)Cl2 with a zinc amalgam. In the adamantane oxidation mediated with Ru(III)(TPFPP)(OEt), it was found that, during this process, the Ru(III) porphyrin was gradually converted to a dioxoRu(VI) porphyrin. Concomitant with this conversion, the reaction rates decreased. Catalyst activation was also stimulated by autoxidation of the solvent CH2Cl2. On the basis of these data, a mechanism is proposed that incorporates a "fast" cycle involving metastable Ru(III) and oxoRu(V) intermediates and a "slow" oxidation cycle, mediated by oxoRu(IV) and trans-dioxoRu(VI) porphyrin complexes.  相似文献

[structure: see text] Organic-inorganic hybrids synthesized from lacunary polyoxotungstates (POMs) have been screened as oxidation catalysts with H2O2 under MW irradiation. Yields up to 99% have been obtained in 25-50 min depending both on the POM structure and on the organic moiety. The reaction scope, optimized with the best performing catalyst [gamma-SiW10O36(PhPO)2]4-, includes epoxidation of terminal and internal double bonds, alcohol oxidation, and sulfoxidation, as well as oxygen transfer to electron-deficient substrates as chalcone, ketones, and sulfoxides.  相似文献

Peptide nucleic acid (PNA) oligomers can be used as probes in pre-gel hybridization experiments, as an alternative to Southern hybridization. In this technique, the PNA probe is hybridized to a cyanine-5 labeled DNA sample denatured at low ionic strength, and the mixture is directly injected for size separation into a capillary electrophoresis (CE) system equipped with laser-induced fluorescence (LIF) detector. The neutral backbone of PNA allows hybridization to occur at low ionic strength and assures an efficient CE separation of the PNA/DNA hybrids from both double-stranded and single-stranded DNA. We have used as a model system the cystic fibrosis R553X and R1162X single-base mutations and we have assessed the influence of various factors, such as temperature and denaturants concentration on DNA/PNA hybrid stability in order to achieve the high specificity required for a single base pair discrimination.  相似文献

New Physico-Chemical Properties of Extremely Diluted Aqueous Solutions   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
The extremely diluted solutions are anomalous solutions obtained through the iteration of two processes: a dilution 1:100 in mass and a succussion. The iteration is repeated until extreme dilutions are reached (less than 1·10-5mol kg-1) to the point that we may call the resulting solution an extremely diluted solution, namely the composition of the solution is identical to that of the solvent used (e.g. twice distilled water). We conducted thermodynamic and transport measurements of the solutions and of the interaction of those solutions with acids or bases. The purpose of this study is to obtain information about the influence of successive dilutions and succussions on the water structure of the solutions under study. We measured the heats of mixing of acid or basic solutions with such extremely diluted solutions, their electrical conductivity and pH, comparing with the analogous heats of mixing, electrical conductivity and pH of the solvent. We found some relevant exothermic excess heats of mixing, higher electrical conductivity and pH than those of the untreated solvent. The measurements show a good correlation between independent physico-chemical parameters. Care was taken to take into account the effect of chemical impurities deriving from the glass containers. Here we thus show that successive dilutions and succussions can permanently alter the physico-chemical properties of the water solvent. The nature of the phenomena here described still remains unexplained, nevertheless some significant experimental results were obtained. The Lewis acid promoted allylation of aldehydes has become an important carbon-carbon bond forming reaction in organic chemistry. In this context, we have developed an alternative over existing catalytic processes, wherein aldehydes are subject in acetonitrile to reaction of allylation with allyltributylstannane in the presence of 1.0 equiv of cerium(III) chloride heptahydrate (CeCl(3).7H(2)O), an inexpensive and mild Lewis acid. The allylation has been accelerated by using an inorganic iodide as a cocatalyst, and various iodide salts were examined. The procedure must use allylstannane reagent instead of allylsilane reagent, desirable for environmental reasons, but high chemoselectivity was observed, and this is opposite the results obtained with other classical Lewis acids such as TiCl(4) and Et(2)O.BF(3).  相似文献

[reaction: see text] The first asymmetric aminolysis of trans-aromatic epoxides with anilines is described. The process affords enantioenriched anti-beta-amino alcohols in up to 99% ee. The complete regio- and diastereoselectivity observed uses commercially available [Cr(Salen)Cl] as a Lewis acid catalyst and in combination with a very simple experimental procedure renders the present reaction a facile and practical tool for the synthesis of chiral nonracemic anti-beta-amino alcohols.  相似文献

The equilibria and kinetics for the process of In(3+) exchange between nitrilotriacetic acid (NTA) and bovine serum transferrin (T) have been investigated in aqueous solution containing sodium bicarbonate. The metal exchange equilibria have been measured by difference ultraviolet spectroscopy at 25 degrees C, pH=7.4, and I=0.2 M (NaClO4). The acid dissociation constants of NTA and the binding constants of In(III) to NTA have also been measured. Kinetic experiments revealed that the process of In(3+) uptake by transferrin from [In(NTA)2](3-) is biphasic, the fast phase being completed in a few seconds, the slow phase lasting for hours. The fast phase has been investigated by the stopped-flow method and results in monoexponential kinetics. It involves rapid interaction of the 1:1 complex ML (M=In, L=NTA) with TB (T=transferrin, B=CO3(2-)) to give a quaternary intermediate MLTB which then evolves to an "open" MTB* ternary complex complex with expulsion of L. In turn, this complex interconverts to a "closed", more stable, form MTB. Neither the prevailing complex M2L nor the TB2 form of transferrin are directly involved in the exchange process but act as metal and protein reservoirs. The pH dependence of the reaction has been also investigated. The slow phase has not been investigated in detail; it takes several hours to go to the completeness, its slowness being ascribed to metal redistribution between the C-site and N-site of the protein, and/or metal release from polynuclear In(III) species.  相似文献

New 3-hydroxy-2-methoxyflavanones have been obtained through epoxidation-methanolysis of the corresponding flavone with urea-hydrogen peroxide (UHP)/methyltrioxorhenium (CH3ReO3, MTO) catalytic system in methanol as nucleophilic solvent. After acetylation of the reaction mixtures, the corresponding cis- and trans-3-acetoxy-2-methoxyflavanones have been isolated and characterized by spectroscopic analyses. Their antifungal activity has been tested in vitro against three fungal strains of common saprotrophic soil and seed fungi, such as Trichoderma koningii, Fusarium solani and Cladosporium herbarum, potentially pathogenic for humans. Some aspects of the structure-activity relationship of the most active compounds have been evaluated. The mycelial growth of T. koningii and C. herbarum has been totally inhibited from cis-3-acetoxy-2,6-dimethoxyflavanone 7c and cis-3-acetoxy-2,7-dimethoxyflavanone 13c at the lowest concentration (0.5×10−4 M).  相似文献
