The molecular surface structure of an ionic liquid (IL) with and without the presence of water was studied with the surface sensitive technique neutral impact collision ion scattering spectroscopy (NICISS). The IL chosen is 1-hexyl-3-methylimidazolium chloride, which is known to be hydrophilic. Binary mixtures were investigated within the water mole fraction range 0.43  χwater  0.71 at 283 K. During approximately 3 h exposition time in vacuum, we have observed a very low water loss rate from sample. The NICISS measurements suggest that admixture of water to [HMIm]Cl leads to a layered surface structure. Three layers were identified (layer 1 — cations, layer 2 — cations and water, layer 3 — cations, water, and anions). While the first layer is unaffected by water, the thickness of the second layer depends on the water concentration. The thickness of layer 2 is relatively constant for water concentrations χwater  0.61, but increases for water contents χwater  0.68. The concentration range 0.61  χwater  0.68 seems to play a key role in water network formation.  相似文献

We consider heteroclinic networks for replicator dynamics and bimatrix games, that is, in a simplex or product of simplices, with equilibria at the vertices and connections at the edges-edge networks. Switching dynamics near a heteroclinic network occurs whenever every (infinite) sequence of connections in the network is shadowed by at least one trajectory in its neighborhood. Aguiar and Castro [M.A.D. Aguiar, S.B.S.D. Castro Chaotic switching in a two-person game, Physica D 239 (16), 1598-1609] prove switching near an edge network for the dynamics of the rock-scissors-paper game. Here we give conditions for switching dynamics in general bimatrix games and show that switching near an edge network can never occur for replicator dynamics.  相似文献

The paper reports on the exploitation of an educated multi-technique analytical approach based on a wide non invasive step followed by a focused micro-destructive step, aimed at the minimally invasive identification of the pigments decorating the ceiling of the Gilded Vault of the Domus Aurea in Rome. The combination of elemental analysis with molecular characterization provided by X-ray fluorescence and UV–vis spectroscopies, respectively, allowed for the in situ non-invasive identification of a remarkable number of pigments, namely Egyptian blue, green earth, cinnabar, red ochre and an anthraquinonic lake. The study was completed with the Raman analysis of two bulk samples, in particular, SERS measurements allowed for the speciation of the anthraquinonic pigment. Elemental mapping by scanning electron microscopy-energy dispersive spectrometer combined with micro-fluorimetry on cross-section gave an insight into both the distribution of different blend of pigments and on the nature of the inorganic support of the red dye.  相似文献

A series of dipolar donor–acceptor (D –A) chromophores with aminothiophene donor and different heterocyclic acceptor units is reported. By modulation of the acceptor strength, absorption bands over the whole visible spectrum are accessible as well as adjustment of the frontier molecular orbital levels. The performance of the chromophores in blends with fullerene acceptors in solution‐processed bulk heterojunction solar cells was studied and related to the molecular properties of the dyes. In particular, the effect of the large ground‐state dipole moments of these dyes was investigated by single crystal X‐ray analysis, which revealed antiparallel dimers, resulting in an annihilation of the dipole moments. This specific feature of supramolecular organization explains the excellent performance of merocyanine dyes in organic solar cells. With blends of HB366 :PC71BM, the most efficient solar cell with a VOC of 1.0 V, a JSC of 10.2 mA cm?2, and a power‐conversion efficiency of 4.5 % was achieved under standard AM1.5, 100 mW cm?2 conditions. Under reduced lighting conditions, even higher efficiencies up to 5.1 % was obtained.  相似文献

The subunit II of the caa(3) oxygen reductase from Rhodothermus marinus contains, in addition to the Cu(A) center, a c-type heme group in the cytochrome c domain (Cyt-D) that is the putative primary electron acceptor of the enzyme. In this work we have combined surface-enhanced resonance Raman (SERR) spectroelectrochemistry, molecular dynamics (MD) simulations and electron pathway calculations to assess the most likely interaction domains and electron entry/exit points of the truncated Cyt-D of subunit II in the reactions with its electron donor, HiPIP and electron acceptor, Cu(A). The results indicate that the transient interaction between Cyt-D and HiPIP relies upon a delicate balance of hydrophobic and polar contacts for establishing an optimized electron transfer pathway that involves the exposed edge of the heme group and guaranties efficient inter-protein electron transfer on the nanosecond time scale. The reorganization energy of ca. 0.7 eV was determined by time-resolved SERR spectroelectrochemistry. The intramolecular electron transfer pathway in integral subunit II from Cyt-D to the Cu(A) redox center most likely involves the iron ligand histidine 20 as an electron exit point in Cyt-D.  相似文献

Genetic deficiency of Jak3 leads to abrogation of signal transduction through the common gamma chain (γc) and thus to immunodeficiency suggesting that specific inhibition of Jak3 kinase may result in immunosuppression. Jak1 cooperates with Jak3 in signaling through γc-containing receptors. Unexpectedly, a Jak3-selective inhibitor was less efficient in abolishing STAT5 phosphorylation than pan-Jak inhibitors. We therefore explored the roles of Jak1 and Jak3 kinase functionality in signaling using a reconstituted system. The presence of kinase-inactive Jak1 but not kinase-inactive Jak3 resulted in complete abolishment of STAT5 phosphorylation. Specific inhibition of the "analog-sensitive" mutant AS-Jak1 but not AS-Jak3 by the ATP-competitive analog 1NM-PP1 abrogated IL-2 signaling, corroborating the data with the selective Jak3 inhibitor. Jak1 thus plays a dominant role over Jak3 and these data challenge the notion that selective ATP-competitive Jak3 kinase inhibitors will be effective.  相似文献

iMole is a platform that automatically extracts images and captions from biomedical literature. Images are tagged with terms contained in figure captions by means of a sophisticate text‐mining tool. Moreover, iMole allows the user to upload directly their own images within the database and manually tag images by curated dictionary. Using iMole the researchers can develop a proper biomedical image database, storing the images extracted from paper of interest, image found on the web repositories, and their own experimental images. In order to show the functioning of the platform, we used iMole to build a 2DE database. Briefly, tagged 2DE gel images were collected and stored in a searchable 2DE gel database, available to users through an interactive web interface. Images were obtained by automatically parsing 16 608 proteomic publications, which yielded more than 16 500 images. The database can be further expanded by users with images of interest trough a manual uploading process. iMole is available with a preloaded set of 2DE gel data at http://imole.biodigitalvalley.com .  相似文献

The synthesis of novel nitro-substituted derivatives of the tyrosine kinase inhibitor Semaxinib (SU5416) is described. The reaction of various substituted oxindoles with 3,5-dimethylpyrrol-2-carbaldehyde derivatives under Knoevenagel conditions gave an array of nitro-substituted derivatives of Semaxinib (SU5416) in high yields of 72–87%.  相似文献

Ultraviolet radiation is an important environmental constraint on the evolution of life. In addition to its harmful effects, ultraviolet radiation plays an important role in generating genetic polymorphisms and acting as a selective agent. Understanding how prokaryotes cope with high radiation can give insights on the evolution of life on Earth. Four representative filamentous bacteria from the family Cytophagaceae with different pigmentation were selected and exposed to different doses of UVC radiation (15-32,400Jm(-2)). The effect of UVC radiation on bacterial survival, growth and morphology were investigated. Results showed high survival in response to UVC for Rudanella lutea and Fibrisoma limi, whereas low survival was observed for Fibrella aestuarina and Spirosoma linguale. S. linguale showed slow growth recovery after ultraviolet exposure, R. lutea and F. limi showed intermediate growth recovery, while F. aestuarina had the fastest recovery among the four tested bacteria. In terms of survival, S. linguale was the most sensitive bacterium whereas R. lutea and F. limi were better at coping with UVC stress. The latter two resumed growth even after 2h exposure (~10,800Jm(-2)). Additionally, the ability to form multicellular filaments after exposure was tested using two bacteria: one representative of the high (R. lutea) and one of the low (F. aestuarina) survival rates. The ability to elongate filaments due to cell division was preserved but modified. In R. lutea 10min exposure reduced the average filament length. The opposite was observed in F. aestuarina, where the 5 and 10min exposures increased the average filament length. R. lutea and F. limi are potential candidates for further research into survival and resistance to ultraviolet radiation stress.  相似文献

利用可见-近红外激光漫反射光谱图像法及化学计量学方法检测了苹果的可溶性固形物含量和硬度。为了消除苹果形状对品质检测的影响,分析了5个不同波长的激光(680,780,880,940和980 nm)照射在富士苹果果面形成的光斑图像,并通过一系列图像处理方法得出了的苹果形状修正算法。分别利用修正前后的光谱图像参数建立苹果可溶性固形物含量和硬度的偏最小二乘回归(PLSR)模型,模型预测值和真实值之间的相关系数从0.78和0.80分别提高到0.87和0.89。为了消除果面镜面反射对苹果内部品质检测的影响,文章提出了象素强度频率检测法,并比较了利用果面光斑图像中光强均值和不同强度对应的象素强度频率建立的苹果硬度和可溶性固形物含量的PLSR模型效果,得出象素强度频率的模型效果更好。苹果可溶性固形物含量和硬度PLSR模型中预测均方根误差(RMSEP)分别从1.28°Brix和8.23 N.cm-2降低到0.84°Brix和6.17 N.cm-2。  相似文献
