In this study, we report on a novel hybrid structure for the direct sensing of metal ions based on the use of CdSe quantum dots functionalized with tetrapyridyl-substituted porphyrin, a cation-selective carrier. It is shown that the porphyrin ion carrier coordinates to Cd atoms of the CdSe quantum dots through the Lewis basic pyridyl groups. The porphyrin-quantum dot ligation allows for the direct communication between the porphyrin and the underlying CdSe quantum structure. The quantum yield of CdSe is maintained despite the robust capping generated when the unmetallated porphyrins coordinate onto the quantum dots. Upon coordination with zinc ions, this porphyrin capping is shown to strongly contribute to the increase in the fluorescence efficiency of CdSe, via an activating interaction with the quantum dots surface. The results provide the grounds for the development of highly sensitive and selective nano-optode sensing systems.  相似文献

Reactions of some glucuronic acid donors with TMSN(3)/SnCl(4) or ROH/SnCl(4) gave only the 1,2-cis-glycoside. The stereoselectivity is consistent with participation of the C-6 group. The methodology was used for the synthesis of a Kdn2en mimetic with the alpha-configuration.  相似文献

The work described deals with the isolation and characterization of epoxides from 6-deoxyhex-5-enopyranosides and preliminary exploration of their synthetic potential. Prolonged epoxidation reaction times led to their hydrolysis in situ and gave novel protected D-hexos-5-ulose derivatives (sugar 1,5-dicarbonyls). Some reactions of the hexos-5-uloses were studied, and in some cases septanoside (seven-membered-ring saccharide) derivatives were isolated. Novel routes to D-xylo-hexos-5-ulose and D-lyxo-hexos-5-ulose, of interest as intermediates in the synthesis and biosynthesis of inositols and aza sugars, are also described. The structures of the epoxides and novel hexos-5-uloses were established by NMR and X-ray crystallographic methods.  相似文献

The main objective of the reference materials for biofuel specifications (BIOREMA) project is the development of two test materials (one bio-ethanol material and one biodiesel material) with well-established reference values. Of a series of three papers, this part describes the material preparation, homogeneity study, stability study, and characterisation of the bio-ethanol material. The test material thus obtained was used in an interlaboratory comparison (ILC) to assess current practices and comparability amongst laboratories providing bio-ethanol testing services. Only 13 participants provided data, resulting in a small dataset for evaluation. Further, it appeared that for a number of laboratories, there was not sufficient material for the determination of all requested parameters. In most cases, as far as the data permit, it can be concluded that the consensus values (based on participant’s results) are in good agreement with the reference or the BIOREMA values (obtained by NMIs participating in the project). For three parameters, namely ethanol content, water content, and density, there is good agreement between the reference and consensus values. For these parameters, the reproducibility standard deviation is close to, or even smaller than, the expanded uncertainty associated with the reference value. A number of parameters show very poor reproducibility, for example, pHe, electrolytic conductivity, and acidity. The same applies to sodium and copper content, which are very low and therefore challenging parameters to measure accurately. The results of the ILC underpin the need for certified reference materials and demonstrate the requirement for more robust quality control to improve the precision and trueness of the results from testing laboratories.  相似文献

Microstructure, surface topography, thermal and mechanical features of poly(3-hydroxybutyrate-co-3-hydroxyvalerate) (PHBV) electrospun non-woven mats were modified, modulated and tailored through blending with different polyethylene oxide (PEO) amounts (20, 30 and 50% wt/wt). The optimal parameters of the soaking protocol for the selective removal of the sacrificial polymer were accurately identified by means of scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray diffraction analysis (XRD), Fourier transform infrared attenuated total reflectance (FTIR-ATR) spectroscopy, simultaneous thermogravimetric and differential analyses (TG-DTA) and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). The complete PEO removal after soaking in H2O for 7 days with daily refreshment was confirmed. The resulting samples were only comprised of PHBV fibers characterized by a remarkable decrease of the average size with respect to the respective blends. Their surface topography was corrugated and rough and presented nodules, pits, nanopores, shallow and elongated nanostructured indents/grooves along the fiber axis. A remarkable reduction (>75%) of the tensile modulus (E) of electrospun PHBV mats (15–20 MPa) was obtained, maintaining comparable elongation at break (εmax) values (20–30%).  相似文献

Three new polyhydroxy pregnanes named dregealol (1), volubilogenone (2) and volubilol (3) were isolated from the flowers of Dregea volubilis, and their structures elucidated from extensive 2D NMR analysis. The structure of volubilol (3) was confirmed by X-ray crystallographic studies. The known pregnane derivatives drevogenin D, iso-drevogenin P and 17α-marsdenin were also isolated.  相似文献

3‐Carbethoxy‐5‐phenyl‐5H,7H‐thiazolo[3,4‐c]oxazol‐4‐ium‐1‐olate was generated from (2R,4R)‐N‐ethoxyoxalyl‐2‐phenylthiazolidine‐4‐carboxylic acid and its reactivity studied. This münchnone showed low reactivity as dipole although from the reaction with dimethyl acetylenedicarboxylate the corresponding (3R)‐3‐phenyl‐17H,3H‐pyrrolo[1,2‐c]thiazole‐5,6,7‐tricarboxylate could be isolated. The thermolysis of (2R,4R)‐N‐ethoxyoxalyl‐2‐phenylthiazolidine‐4‐carboxylic acid in refluxing acetic anhydride led to the synthesis of N‐(1‐ethoxycarbonyl‐2‐phenylvinyl)‐2‐phenyl‐4‐thioxo‐1,3‐thiazolidine. The structure of methyl (2R,4R)‐N‐ethoxyoxalyl‐2‐phenylthiazoliddine‐4‐carboxylate was determined by X‐ray crystallography.  相似文献

Triplet energy transfer (TET) from aromatic donors to 1,3,5,7-cyclooctatetraene (COT) is an extreme case of "nonvertical" behavior, where the transfer rate for low-energy donors is considerably faster than that predicted for a thermally activated (Arrhenius) process. To explain the anomalous TET of COT and other molecules, a new theoretical model based on transition state theory for nonadiabatic processes is proposed here, which makes use of the adiabatic potential energy surfaces (PES) of reactants and products, as computed from high-level quantum mechanical methods, and a nonadiabatic transfer rate constant. It is shown that the rate of transfer depends on a geometrical distortion parameter gamma=(2g(2)/kappa(1))(1/2) in which g stands for the norm of the energy gradient in the PES of the acceptor triplet state and kappa(1) is a combination of vibrational force constants of the ground-state acceptor in the gradient direction. The application of the model to existing experimental data for the triplet energy transfer reaction to COT from a series of pi,pi(*) triplet donors, provides a detailed interpretation of the parameters that determine the transfer rate constant. In addition, the model shows that the observed decrease of the acceptor electronic excitation energy is due to thermal activation of C=C bond stretchings and C-C bond torsions, which collectively change the ground-state COT bent conformation (D(2d)) toward a planar triplet state (D(8h)).  相似文献
