Numerous optimization methods have been proposed for the solution of the unconstrained optimization problems, such as mathematical programming methods, stochastic global optimization approaches, and metaheuristics. In this paper, a metaheuristic algorithm called Modified Shuffled Complex Evolution (MSCE) is proposed, where an adaptation of the Downhill Simplex search strategy combined with the differential evolution method is proposed. The efficiency of the new method is analyzed in terms of the mean performance and computational time, in comparison with the genetic algorithm using floating-point representation (GAF) and the classical shuffled complex evolution (SCE-UA) algorithm using six benchmark optimization functions. Simulation results and the comparisons with SCE-UA and GAF indicate that the MSCE improves the search performance on the five benchmark functions of six tested functions. 相似文献
Many networks of physical and biological interest are characterized by a long-range coupling mediated by a chemical which diffuses through a medium in which oscillators are embedded. We considered a one-dimensional model for this effect for which the diffusion is fast enough so as to be implemented through a coupling whose intensity decays exponentially with the lattice distance. In particular, we analyzed the bursting synchronization of neurons described by two timescales (spiking and bursting activity), and coupled through such a long-range interaction network. One of the advantages of the model is that one can pass from a local (Laplacian) type of coupling to a global (all-to-all) one by varying a single parameter in the interaction term. We characterized bursting synchronization using an order parameter which undergoes a transition as the coupling parameters are changed through a critical value. We also investigated the role of an external time-periodic signal on the bursting synchronization properties of the network. We show potential applications in the control of pathological rhythms in biological neural networks. 相似文献

This paper proves that a connected matroid in which a largest circuit and a largest cocircuit have and elements, respectively, has at most elements. It is also shown that if is an element of and and are the sizes of a largest circuit containing and a largest cocircuit containing , then . Both these bounds are sharp and the first is proved using the second. The second inequality is an interesting companion to Lehman's width-length inequality which asserts that the former inequality can be reversed for regular matroids when and are replaced by the sizes of a smallest circuit containing and a smallest cocircuit containing . Moreover, it follows from the second inequality that if and are distinct vertices in a -connected loopless graph , then cannot exceed the product of the length of a longest -path and the size of a largest minimal edge-cut separating from .
Atomistic simulations were performed to investigate the lattice parameters, dielectric constant, and elastic constants of Y3(GaxAl5−x)O12 (x = 1, 2, 3, 4, 5) structures. The calculated lattice parameters and elastic constants are in good agreement with those in available experimental results. The pressure dependence of all studied quantities was investigated. In general, a change in the behavior of all studied quantities is found when the Ga concentration becomes more than that of the aluminum (Al) in Y3(GaxAl5−x)O12 (x = 1, 2, 3, 4, 5) structures. 相似文献
Abstract The present article gives an overview of recent publications and modern techniques of sample preparation for food analysis employing atomic and inorganic mass spectrometric techniques, such as flame atomic absorption spectrometry, chemical vapor generation atomic absorption and atomic fluorescence spectrometry, graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometry, inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry, and inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry. Among the most frequently applied sample preparation techniques for food analysis are dry ashing, usually with the addition of an ashing aid, and acid digestion, preferably with the assistance of microwave energy. Slurry preparation, particularly with the assistance of ultrasound, is increasingly used to reduce acid consumption and sample preparation time. Direct analysis of solid samples is gaining importance in the field of food analysis as it offers the highest sensitivity, avoids the use of acids and other aggressive reagents, makes possible the analysis of micro‐samples, and can be applied for fast screening analysis, e.g., of fresh meat. 相似文献
The boundary element method (BEM) has been used to compute the acoustic wave propagation through a single vertical panel, which separates two rooms, made of concrete, when one of the rooms is excited by a steady-state, spatially sinusoidal, harmonic line load pressure at low frequencies. This work focuses on how the connection of the panel to the ceiling affects the acoustic insulation provided by the wall. Perfect double-fixed partitions and acoustic barrier-type structures with differently-sized gaps between the ceiling and the barrier are studied. The BEM model is formulated in the frequency domain and takes the air-solid interaction fully into account. Insulation dips are localised in the frequency domain and identified with dips associated with both the wall's natural dynamic vibration modes and with those associated with the air in the rooms. The influence of the wall's thickness on acoustic insulation is also analysed. The computed results obtained with the acoustic barrier type structure are compared with those obtained by a rigid model. The importance of the rooms' surface conditions is assessed, modelling the rooms with cork. 相似文献
We analyse the concept of active gravitational mass for Reissner-Nordström spacetime in terms of scalar polynomial invariants and the Karlhede classification. We show that while the Kretschmann scalar does not produce the expected expression for the active gravitational mass, both scalar polynomial invariants formed from the Weyl tensor, and the Cartan scalars, do. 相似文献
In this paper we analyze a recently proposed impartial combinatorial ruleset that is played on a permutation of the set \(\left[ n\right] \). We call this ruleset Stirling Shave. A procedure utilizing the ordinal sum operation is given to determine the nim value of a given normal play position. Additionally, we enumerate the number of permutations of \(\left[ n\right] \) which are \(\mathcal {P}\)-positions. The formula given involves the Stirling numbers of the first-kind. We also give a complete analysis of the Misère version of Stirling Shave using Conway’s genus theory. An interesting by-product of this analysis is insight into how the ordinal sum operation behaves in Misère Play. 相似文献
