An efficient method for the Beckmann rearrangement of ketoximes to amides mediated by a catalytic amount (15 mol %) of propylphosphonic anhydride (T3P®) is described. Aldoximes underwent second order Beckmann rearrangement to provide the corresponding nitriles in excellent yields on reacting with T3P (15 mol %) at room temperature. The main advantages of this environmentally friendly protocol include procedural simplicity, and particularly ease of isolation of the products. 相似文献

The varying coordination modes of the title ligand, L [5-methyl-1-(pyridin-2-yl)-N′-[pyridin-2-ylmethylidene]pyrazole-3-carbohydrazide] towards the different metal centers is reported by preparation and characterization of Cu(II), Zn(II) and Cd(II) complexes, [Cu(L)NO3.H2O](NO3) (1) [Zn(L)2](ClO4)2·2DMF (2) and [Cd(L)(I)2] (3) respectively. In 1, the neutral ligand serves as tetradentate 4 N donor where both pyridine and pyrazole nitrogen atoms of pyridyl–pyrazole part are coordinatively active, leaving the carbonyl oxygen of the carbohydrazide part inactive. The same pyridine and pyrazole N atoms remain abstained from the coordination process towards the Zn(II) and Cd(II) metal centers. For 2 and 3 the ligand behaves as a tridentate NNO donor where the two nitrogen atoms come from azomethine, pyridine of pyridine-2-carbaldehyde parts and O from carbonyl oxygen atoms (carbohydrazide part). The complex 1 and 2 are distorted octahedral while complex 3 adopts distorted square pyramidal geometry. All the complexes are X-ray crystallographically characterized. 相似文献

An efficient synthetic strategy has been developed for the synthesis of the tri, tetrasaccharide block and pentasaccharide corresponding to the capsular polysaccharide of Streptococcus pneumonia serotype 18C as their 2-aminoethyl glycosides. A one-pot glycosylation-deprotection, sequential glycosylations strategy has been adopted for the construction of the fragments and pentasaccharide derivative, which were then transformed into target compound after a series of functional group transformations. The synthetic method relies on the use of p-methoxybenzyl ether as an in situ-removable protecting group to reduce the number of reaction steps significantly. Here H2SO4-silica has been used successfully as a promoter for all glycosylation reaction. Sulfoxides are frequently used in organic synthesis as chiral auxiliaries and reagents to mediate a wide variety of chemical transformations. For example, diphenyl sulfoxide and triflic anhydride can be used to activate a wide range of glycosyl donors including hemiacetals, glycals and thioglycosides. In this way, an alcohol, enol or sulfide is converted into a good leaving group for subsequent reaction with an acceptor alcohol. However, reaction of diphenyl sulfoxide and triflic anhydride with oxathiane-based thioglycosides, and other oxathianes, leads to a different process in which the thioglycoside is oxidised to a sulfoxide. This unexpected oxidation reaction is very stereoselective and proceeds under anhydrous conditions in which the diphenyl sulfoxide acts both as oxidant and as the source of the oxygen atom. Isotopic labelling experiments support a reaction mechanism that involves the formation of oxodisulfonium (S-O-S) dication intermediates. These intermediates undergo oxygen-exchange reactions with other sulfoxides and also allow interconversion of axial and equatorial sulfoxides in oxathiane rings. The reversibility of the oxygen-exchange reaction suggests that the stereochemical outcome of the oxidation reaction may be under thermodynamic control, which potentially presents a novel strategy for the stereoselective synthesis of sulfoxides. 相似文献

Herein, we report the host-guest-type complex formation between the host molecules cucurbit[7]uril (CB[7]), β-cyclodextrin (β-CD), and dibenzo[24]crown-8 ether (DB24C8) and a newly synthesized triphenylamine (TPA) derivative 1X(3) as the guest component. The host-guest complex formation was studied in detail by using (1)H?NMR, 2D NOESY, UV/Vis fluorescence, and time-resolved emission spectroscopy. The chloride salt of the TPA derivative was used for recognition studies with CB[7] and β-CD in an aqueous medium. The restricted internal rotation of the guest molecule on complex formation with either of these two host molecules was reflected in the enhancement of the emission quantum yield and the average excited-state lifetime for the triphenylamine-based excited states. Studies with DB24C8 as the host molecule were performed in dichloromethane, a medium that maximizes the noncovalent interaction between the host and guest fragments. The F?rster resonance energy transfer (FRET) process involving DB24C8 and 1(PF(6))(3), as the donor and acceptor fragments, respectively, was established by electrochemical, steady-state emission, and time-correlated single-photon counting studies. 相似文献

We report new ab initio results for the interaction-induced dipole moments Δμ of hydrogen molecules colliding with helium atoms. These results are needed in order to calculate collision-induced absorption spectra at high temperatures; applications include modeling the radiative profiles of very cool white dwarf stars, with temperatures from 3500 K to 9000 K. We have evaluated the dipoles based on finite-field calculations, with coupled cluster methods in MOLPRO 2006 and aug-cc-pV5Z (spdfg) basis sets for both the H and He centers. We have obtained values of Δμ for eight H(2) bond lengths ranging from 0.942 a.u. to 2.801 a.u., for 15 intermolecular separations R ranging from 2.0 a.u. to 10.0 a.u., and for 19 different relative orientations. In general, our values agree well with earlier ab initio results, for the geometrical configurations that are treated in common, but we have determined more points on the collision-induced dipole surface by an order of magnitude. These results make it possible to calculate transition probabilities for molecules in excited vibrational states, overtones, and rotational transitions with ΔJ > 4. We have cast our results in the symmetry-adapted form needed for absorption line shape calculations, by expressing Δμ as a series in the spherical harmonics of the orientation angles of the intermolecular vector and of a unit vector along the H(2) bond axis. The expansion coefficients depend on the H(2) bond length and the intermolecular distance R. For large separations R, we show that the ab initio values of the leading coefficients converge to the predictions from perturbation theory, including both classical multipole polarization and dispersion effects. 相似文献

This article deals with the hitherto unexplored metal complexes of deprotonated 6,12‐di(pyridin‐2‐yl)‐5,11‐dihydroindolo[3,2‐b]carbazole (H2L). The synthesis and structural, optical, electrochemical characterization of dimeric [{RuIII(acac)2}2(μ‐L.?)]ClO4 ([ 1 ]ClO4, S=1/2), [{RuII(bpy)2}2(μ‐L.?)](ClO4)3 ([ 2 ](ClO4)3, S=1/2), [{RuII(pap)2}2(μ‐L2?)](ClO4)2 ([ 4 ](ClO4)2, S=0), and monomeric [(bpy)2RuII(HL?)]ClO4 ([ 3 ]ClO4, S=0), [(pap)2RuII(HL?)]ClO4 ([ 5 ]ClO4, S=0) (acac=σ‐donating acetylacetonate, bpy=moderately π‐accepting 2,2’‐bipyridine, pap=strongly π‐accepting 2‐phenylazopyridine) are reported. The radical and dianionic states of deprotonated L in isolated dimeric 1 +/ 2 3+ and 4 2+, respectively, could be attributed to the varying electronic features of the ancillary (acac, bpy, and pap) ligands, as was reflected in their redox potentials. Perturbation of the energy level of the deprotonated L or HL upon coordination with {Ru(acac)2}, {Ru(bpy)2}, or {Ru(pap)2} led to the smaller energy gap in the frontier molecular orbitals (FMO), resulting in bathochromically shifted NIR absorption bands (800–2000 nm) in the accessible redox states of the complexes, which varied to some extent as a function of the ancillary ligands. Spectroelectrochemical (UV/Vis/NIR, EPR) studies along with DFT/TD‐DFT calculations revealed (i) involvement of deprotonated L or HL in the oxidation processes owing to its redox non‐innocent potential and (ii) metal (RuIII/RuII) or bpy/pap dominated reduction processes in 1 + or 2 2+/ 3 +/ 4 2+/ 5 +, respectively. 相似文献
