The effect of external fields (dc electric field, light illumination) on the memory effect of the incommensurate phase in the ferroelectric-semiconductor TlGaSe2 is studied using the measured dielectric constant. The results obtained are discussed. It is shown for the first time that the effect of external fields on the anomaly related to the memory effect in TlGaSe2 can be reduced to the following universal empirical rule: when a sample is held for many hours at a constant temperature T 0 in the temperature range of the incommensurate phase in a dc electric field, the deflection amplitude in the low-temperature part of the anomaly in the temperature dependence of the relative change in the dielectric constant Δ?/? increases (the deflection in the high-temperature part of the Δ?/? anomaly disappears) as compared to this segment in the dependence obtained during isothermal annealing of this sample at the same temperature without an electric field. The crystal remembers its thermal history at a temperature that is several kelvins higher than T 0. Light illumination increases the deflection amplitude in the high-temperature part of the Δ?/?(T) anomaly and shifts the temperature at which the crystal remembers its thermal history toward lower temperatures with respect to T 0.  相似文献

A three-dimensional model is proposed for the global heat exchange during growth of basal-plane-faceted sapphire ribbons. The model is based on the method for solving three-dimensional problems of radiative heat transfer in complex regions with diffusely and specularly reflecting boundaries. The temperature distributions in the ribbon and elements of the thermal zone are investigated. It is shown that the developed model correctly reflects the main features of the processes of heat exchange in the crystallization setup and makes it possible to purposefully modify the thermal zone.  相似文献

New analytical results are presented performing to cylindrical exponential integral (CEI) functions for integer and noninteger values of parameter n. These integrals are often employed of two-dimensional radiative transfer in an absorbing-emitting medium and determination of the radiative flux in cylindrical media. The simple and efficient algorithm for the calculation of these functions is developed. The series expansion relations established in this work are accurate enough in the whole range of parameters.  相似文献

The optically stimulated luminescent (OSL) radiation dosimeter technically surveys a wide dynamic measurement range and a high sensitivity. Optical fiber dosimeters provide capability for remote monitoring of the radiation in the locations which are difficult-to-access and hazardous. In addition, optical fiber dosimeters are immune to electrical and radio-frequency interference. In this paper, a novel remote optical fiber radiation dosimeter is described. The optical fiber dosimeter takes advantage of the charge trapping materials CaS:Ce, Sm that exhibit OSL. The measuring range of the dosimeter is from 0.1 to 100 Gy.  相似文献

In this paper, we established an analytical formula for the second virial coefficient (SVC) with Morse potential without using any numerical methods, and the obtained formula is applied to the calculation of the speed of sound of some matter at high temperature. This approach is based on the series expansion formula and special functions, which allows the exact evaluations of any thermodynamic properties of matter using the SVC. As an application, the obtained analytical formula is used for evaluation of the SVC with Morse potential for high‐temperature gas and the plasma region of the intermolecular interactions of neutral atom gases of B, Si, Zn, H2, N2, O2, NO, CO, He, Ne, Ar, Kr , and Xe . Based on the obtained formula of SVC, the speed of sound for gases of N2, Ar , and Zn are also determined analytically. A specific maximum temperature is chosen for every gas to ensure that there are still neutral atoms in the gas, and low temperatures are avoided due to quantum effects. The results are compared with numerical data and another analytical data from the literature. The new analytical solution is shown to be in good agreement with the compared data and is verified to supply proper thermodynamic data.  相似文献

In connection with the contradictoriness of literature data, phase equilibria in the Ag–Sn–Se system were restudied by differential thermal analysis and X-ray powder diffraction analysis. A number of polythermal sections and the isothermal section at room temperature of the phase diagram were constructed, and a projection of the liquidus surface was built. The primary crystallization fields of phases and the types and coordinates of in- and monovariant equilibria were determined. It was demonstrated that, in the system, two ternary compounds, Ag8SnSe6 and AgxSn2 – xSe2 (0.84 < x < 1.06), form. The former melts congruently at 1015 K and undergoes a polymorphic transformation at 355 K, and the latter melts with decomposition by a peritectic reaction at 860 K. The formation of the compound Ag2SnSe3, which was previously reported in the literature, was not confirmed. Based on the phase diagrams of boundary binary systems and the results of the differential thermal analysis of a limited number of samples of the ternary system, equations were obtained for calculation and 3D modeling of the liquidus and phase-separation surfaces.  相似文献

By use of Löwdin and Guseinov relations for the radial and angular part of two-center overlap integrals, respectively, the computer calculations of overlap integrals over Slater type orbitals (STOs) in molecular coordinate system are performed. The results of calculations are valid for arbitrary principal quantum numbers, screening constants and location of STOs. Excellent agreement with benchmark results and stability of the technique are demonstrated.  相似文献
