A new and simple flow injection method followed by atomic absorption spectrometry has been developed for the indirect determination of ascorbic acid. The proposed method is based on oxidation of ascorbic acid to dehydroascorbic acid using a solid-phase manganese dioxide (30% m/m suspended on silica gel beads) reactor. The flow of the sample through the column reduces the MnO2 to Mn(II) in an acidic carrier stream of 6.3 mM HNO3 (pH 2.2) with flow rate of 4.0 ml/min at room temperature; Mn(II) is measured by atomic absorption spectrometry. The absorbance of Mn(II) is proportional to the concentration of ascorbic acid in the sample. The calibration curve was linear up to 30 mg/L, with a detection limit of 0.2 mg/L for a 220 microL injected sample volume. The developed procedure was found to be suitable for the determination of AsA in pharmaceuticals and foods with a relative standard deviation better than 1.09% and a sampling rate of about 95 h(-1). The results exhibit no interference from the presence of large amounts of organic compounds. The reliability of the method was established by parallel determination against the 2,6-dichlorophenol-indophenol methods.  相似文献

The effects of Thymus vulgaris hydroalcoholic extract on the contractile responses of the isolated guinea-pig ileum were investigated. Contraction changes in the terminal ileum of guinea pigs were monitored using a force displacement transducer amplifier connected to a physiograph. Thymus vulgaris extract inhibited the contractile responses in a dose-dependent manner and also decreased the amplitude of peristaltic waves. It is concluded that T. vulgaris has an antispasmodic action on guinea pig ileum by decreasing the amplitudes of the muscle contractions during peristalsis. The EC50 was calculated as 1.7 mg mL(-1). In guinea-pig ileum the extract led to an antispasmodic effect, possibly by affecting the anticholinergic and serotoninergic pathways.  相似文献

Epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) plays an essential role in anticancer therapy. Matuzumab is an antibody for the treatment of colorectal, lung and stomach cancer. Matuzumab binds efficiently to EGFR and blocks its phosphorylation. The recent clinical successes have established application of peptides for cancer treatment. The present contribution introduces an in silico approach to design peptides based on molecular dynamics simulation (MDs) of the matuzumab-EGFR complex in water environment. Moreover, principal component analysis has been used to select multiple conformations of the complex in MDs for designing the peptides. The paratope and epitope in each conformation of the complex were determined, and the alanine scanning was used to identify the hot spots of EGFR conformers. The conformations of the peptides were optimized using PEP-FOLD server and MDs. The selected conformations were analyzed in a docking study to realize the binding site of the EGFR. Finally, pharmokinetics properties of the peptides were calculated. The designed oligopeptides were EWRSYYYWH, YYYWHNEWN, YYYWHNEWS and HNHSRNYGS with a higher affinity to the EGFR relative to the previously reported peptides. The newly designed peptides were investigated for their in vivo toxicities on rats, and all of them were non-toxic.  相似文献

Excitation functions and theoretical yields via charge particle induced reactions were evaluated using EMPIRE-3.2.2 and ALICE/ASH codes and the obtained results have been discussed and compared with the available reported experimental data. It has been verified that natCu(p,n)65Zn reaction is the optimum 65Zn production route. The 65Zn was produced using natCu(p,xn) 65Zn reaction in the energy range of 16.8 → 12.2 MeV with the thick target yield of 0.15 ± 0.005 MBq/μA h. The 65Zn radionuclide was purified by anion exchange chromatography.

In this paper, we present the result of TiN nanocrystalline deposition on SS316L, using a 4 kJ plasma focus (PF) device for 10, 20, and 30 focus shots. The effect of different number of focus shots on micro-structural changes of thin film is characterized by field emission scanning electron microscope. Existence of grains in different size confirms the formation of TiN nanocrystals on the surface of SS316L substrate. X-ray diffraction (XRD) reveals the formation of a nanocrystalline titanium nitride coating on the surface of SS316L samples. The crystalline size of TiN obtained from XRD data is strongly dependent on the number of focus shots. Thickness of the elements found on the surface of the treated sample that obtain by Rutherford backscattering spectroscopy (RBS) analysis is in the range of 150×1015?200×1015 atoms/cm2. All the existence elements in the coated samples are identified by Particle Induced X-ray Emission (PIXE) spectra. Investigation on the corrosion resistance of TiN coatings was performed using an electrochemical potentiodynamic polarization. Our results suggest that TiN nanocrystalline implantation with proper ion fluences using PF can significantly improve the corrosion resistance of SS316L.  相似文献

The electrooxidation of L-cysteine(L-Cys) was studied using a benzoylferrocene(BF) modified multi-wall carbon nanotube paste electrode(BFCNPE) using cyclic voltammetry(CV),square wave voltammetry(SWV) and chronoamperometry(CHA).Under optimum pH in CV the oxidation of L-Cys occurs at a potential about 215 mV less positive than that at the surface of unmodified carbon paste electrode.The catalytic oxidation peak currents were dependent on the L-Cys concentration and a linear calibration curve was obtained in the range 0.7-350.0 mmol/L of L-Cys with SWV method.The detection limit(3s) was determined as 0.1 mmol/L.This method was also used for the determination of L-Cys in some real samples.  相似文献

In this paper we consider neutrino oscillation in general curved space-times. Then we calculate neutrino oscillation length in the R-charged black hole background, which is a five dimensional space-time, and compare it with the results of various backgrounds. Multi-periodic inventory control problems are mainly studied employing one of two assumptions. The first is the continuous review, where depending on the inventory level, orders can be placed at any time, and the other is the periodic review, where orders can be placed only at the beginning of each period. In this paper, we relax these assumptions and assume that the time-periods between two replenishments are random fuzzy variables. While in the model of the problem at hand the decision variables are of integer type and there are space and service level constraints, for the shortages we consider a combination of back-order and lost-sales. We show the model of this problem to be an integer-nonlinear-programming type and in order to solve it, a hybrid method of Pareto, TOPSIS and Genetic Algorithm approach is used. At the end, a numerical example is given to demonstrate the applicability of the proposed methodology.  相似文献

We have performed a first-principle calculation of the structural, electronic and high pressure properties of RuSr2GdCu2O8, a ferromagnetic superconductor, by employing a full-potential linearized augmented plane-wave method within the density-functional theory. The effect of pressure was achieved by varying the volume of the unit cell with constant a:b:c ratio. The experimentally observed anti-phase rotation of RuO6 octahedra has been attributed to the residual forces on ORu which results in shear strain in the RuO2 layer. Partial charge analysis shows that applying pressure up to 6 GPa leads to hole creation in the CuO2 sheets which causes increase in the superconducting transition temperature. We have estimated the Curie temperature T M of this compound in the mean-field approximation using Heisenberg model with first-nearest neighbor exchange interactions determined from DFT calculations for parallel and anti-parallel spin configurations of Ru moment in RuO2 planes. The effect of pressure causes the magnetic moment of Ru atoms to decrease due to the increase of hybridization between the adjacent Ru atoms. The calculated exchange splitting in Cu d x 2 - y 2 states increases slightly with pressure but it is still very small that it does not affect superconductivity, and the hole doping mechanism is dominant.  相似文献
