Xanthan gum was derivatized to sodium carboxymethyl xanthan (SCMX) gum with a view to prepare bovine serum albumin (BSA)‐loaded carboxymethyl xanthan (CMX) microparticles through interaction with metal ion in a completely aqueous environment. The effect of various formulation variables, such as a pH of SCMX gum solution, concentration of BSA and SCMX gum, and gelation time on BSA entrapment efficiency and release of the protein in different media were studied. While BSA entrapment efficiency was found to decrease with increase in gelation time and initial BSA loading, the same was found to increase with increase in concentration of SCMX gum. Although the release of BSA in acidic medium was almost equal to that in alkaline medium, as compared up to 2 hr, the release in alkaline medium was found to be prolonged to a different extent depending upon the formulation variables. A sustainable route for the N-1 alkylation of imidazole and benzimidazole derivatives has been developed under volatile organic solvent free condition in alkaline water-SDS system. Incorporation of SDS in the reaction medium enhances the reaction rate by suppressing the solubility issue that arises for different substrates. This method provides high yield of the alkylated product in a shorter reaction time. For reactive alkyl halides reaction proceeds at ambient temperature whereas in the cases of less reactive alkyl halides require 55–60?°C to complete alkylation process. N-alkylation induced ring opening of the heterocyclic ring in benzimidazole derivatives to multifunctional aromatic compounds were noticed at 60?°C when more than two equivalents of alkyl halide was used. 相似文献

Single phase nanocrystalline YFeO3 has been synthesized by a simple solution method. The average particle diameter is 42.2 nm. The particles exhibit ferromagnetic behaviour in the temperature range 10-300 K with a coercivity of 23 kOe. The magnetization versus temperature over the temperature range 2-300 K obeys Bloch equation with a Bloch constant value 9.98×10−6 K−3/2. Ferromagnetic hysteresis loops have been observed up to a temperature of 300 K. At 10 K a field-cooled sample shows an exchange bias field. 相似文献

A highly efficient strategy for chemoselective oxidation of aldoximes to nitrile oxides by iodosobenzene in neutral aqueous media is reported. Their in situ intermolecular 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition (1,3-DC) with olefins in nanometer aqueous micelles occurs with improved stereoselectivity and acceleration of reaction rate toward synthesis of new chiral synthons, 3-(2'-C-3',4',6'-tri-O-benzylglycal)-Delta(2)-isoxazolines and others. Construction of optically pure 2,8-dioxabicyclo[4.4.0]decene skeleta is performed by this green approach, and the stereochemistry of the new chiral center is predicted by B3LYP density functional theory. 相似文献

Summary Many new oxomolybdenum(V) and dioxomolybdenum(VI) complexes have been synthesized with tri- and tetradentate Schiff bases derived by the condensation of salicylaldehyde, thiosalicylaldehyde,o-hydroxyacetophenone, 3-carboxysalicyclaldehyde or acetylacetone with aminoalcohols, polymethylenediamines ando-phenylenediamines. Mononuclear oxothiolato Schiff base complexes of molybdenum(V) have been prepared for the first time. Quadridentate Schiff bases derived from salicylaldehyde and substituted salicylaldehydes ando-phenylenediamine have also been successfully employed to isolate dioxomolybdenum(VI) complexes in the solid state, in which two oxygen atoms of the MoO2 group arecis- to each other, similar to the situation observed for other dioxomolybdenum(VI) complexes of salicylaldehyde-polymethylenediamine Schiff base ligands.Structures have been determined with the help of elemental analyses, magnetic susceptibilities, molar conductances, i.r., electronic and1H n.m.r. spectral data.For Part IX, K. The paper presents an exact analysis of the dispersion of a passive contaminant in a viscous fluid flowing in a parallel plate channel driven by a uniform pressure gradient. Zusammenfassung In dieser Untersuchung wird eine exakte Analyse der Ausbreitung eines passiven Kontaminierungsstoffes in einer zähen Flüssigkeit gegeben, die, befördert durch einen gleichförmigen Druckgradienten, in einem Parallelplattenkanal strömt. Der Kanal rotiert mit gleichförmiger Winkelgeschwindigkeit um eine zu seinen Wänden senkrechte Achse, wodurch sich eine Sekundärströmung ausbildet. Unter Verwendung eines generalisierten, für alle Zeiten gültigen Dispersionsmodells werden die longitudinalen DispersionskoeffizientenK i (i=1, 2, ...) als Funktionen der Zeit ermittelt. Es wird gezeigt, daßK 1=0 gilt und dieK 3,K 4, ... gegenüberK 2 schnell abnehmen.K 2 nimmt ab, wenn , der dimensionslose Rotationsparameter, bis etwa zum Wert 2,2 ansteigt. Danach wächstK 2 mit bis auf einem Endwert an, der etwa ab =500 erreicht wird. Dieses anomale Verhalten vonK 2 findet eine physikalische Erklärung.
