Injury potential may have a triggering biological role in wound healing. In this study, the effect of photostimulation to promote wound healing and its effect on injury potential was investigated using the Ga-As and He-Ne lasers. In this study, 30 healthy male Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into a control and two laser groups, He-Ne and Ga-As laser. A 2.5 cm craniocaudal full-thickness skin incision was made on each animal's dorsal region. Differential skin surface potential was measured before and immediately after the injury and also up to the 21st day, every other day. Wound surface area was also measured. Immediately after injury, wound potential significantly increased in all three groups. Maximum positive peak of injury potential was greater in Ga-As group compared to He-Ne laser and control groups (P<0.05) and lasting period of maximum positive potential in two laser groups was longer than that in the control group. There were no significant differences between the mean potential of before wounding and after the 15th, 17th, and 19th day in Ga-As, He-Ne, and control group, respectively (P>0.05). On the other hand, Ga-As and He-Ne laser facilitated the normal distribution of skin potential after wounding. These findings demonstrate that Ga-As laser may be more effective on wound closure and on returning the injury potential to normal level than the He-Ne laser. 相似文献

α‐Conotoxins are disulfide‐rich peptides that target nicotinic acetylcholine receptors. Recently we identified several α‐conotoxins that also modulate voltage‐gated calcium channels by acting as G protein‐coupled GABAB receptor (GABABR) agonists. These α‐conotoxins are promising drug leads for the treatment of chronic pain. To elucidate the diversity of α‐conotoxins that act through this mechanism, we synthesized and characterized a set of peptides with homology to α‐conotoxins known to inhibit high voltage‐activated calcium channels via GABABR activation. Remarkably, all disulfide isomers of the active α‐conotoxins Pu1.2 and Pn1.2, and the previously studied Vc1.1 showed similar levels of biological activity. Structure determination by NMR spectroscopy helped us identify a simplified biologically active eight residue peptide motif containing a single disulfide bond that is an excellent lead molecule for developing a new generation of analgesic peptide drugs. 相似文献

A theoretical and experimental study was conducted to accurately determine the amount of adsorption and desorption of methane by various Granular Activated Carbon(GAC)under different physical conditions.To carry out the experiments,the volumetric method was used up to 500 psia at constant temperature of 25℃.In these experiments,adsorption as well as desorption capacities of four different GAC in the adsorption of methane,the major constituent of natural gas,at various equilibrium pressures and a constant temperature were studied.Also,various adsorption isotherm models were used to model the experimental data collected from the experiments.The accuracy of the results obtained from the adsorption isotherm models was compared and the values for the regressed parameters were reported.The results shows that the physical characteristics of activated carbons such as BET surface area,micropore volume,packing density,and pore size distribution play an important role in the amount of methane to be adsorbed and desorbed. 相似文献

In developing a neural network technique for a finite element model updating, researchers have been shown that the number
of training samples and their quality, significantly affect the accuracy of the NN predication. In this study, based on the
genetic algorithm (GA) method, we reduce the number of analyses required to develop the training pairs and reduce the amount
of time for training the NN. In the other words, a uniform distribution of design points inside the design space will be obtained
by means of this approach. To validate the efficiency of GA sample selection, random generation (RG) method is used for comparison.
Two comparisons are made based on a numerical and experimental example. One is updated from 10 degrees of freedom lumped parameters
system and the other is updated from a free–free beam using test data. The results indicate that the GA sample selection can
reduce the number of training samples without affecting the accuracy of the NN predication. In our present study, also, the
advantages of using frequency response function (FRF) data as input to the NN are kept and the drawback of having too many
