Undoped and Fe doped CdS nanocrystals with Fe content of 2–5 at% of average crystallite size 1.2–2 nm have been obtained using chemical co-precipitation method with 2-mercaptoethonal as capping agent at 80 °C. X-ray diffraction (XRD) results showed that the undoped CdS nanocrystals were in mixed phase of cubic and hexagonal, where as the doped CdS nanocrystals were in hexagonal phase. Room-temperature ferromagnetism has been observed in Fe-doped CdS nanocrystals. Magnetic studies indicated diamagnetism in undoped, ferromagnetism in lightly doped (2 and 3 at%) and paramagnetism in samples of higher Fe content (4 and 5 at%). The substitutional incorporation of Fe3+ ion in Cd2+ sites was reflected in structural and electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) measurements. Isolated as well as interacting Fe3+ ions are observed in EPR.  相似文献

Novel polyamides of 2,5-bis(amino methyl) 1,4-dioxane (cis/trans-BAMD) with adipic/sebacic acids and of 2,5-bis(carboxy methyl)/2,5-bis(carboxy) 1,4-dioxane with 1,6-hexane diamine have been prepared. Because of the slightly higher conformational flexibility of the 1,4-dioxane ring in comparison with that of the cyclohexane ring, the BAMD polyamides have lower Tg and Tm than the corresponding 1,4-bis(amino methyl) cyclohexane (BAMC) polyamides. The symmetry of the trans-dioxane moiety permits high crystallinity in the trans-BAMD polymers. The crystallinity Tg and Tm of the trans polymers are decreased with the incorporation of the cis-dioxane moiety which lacks a plane of symmetry. Because of the hydrophilic nature of the dioxane ring, t-BAMD-6 has good moisture-regain properties, yet is melt processable (Tm = 292°C).  相似文献

The hydrodynamics and energy consumption have been studied in a cold flow, bubbling and turbulent, pressurized gas–liquid–solid three-phase fluidized bed (0.15 m ID × 1 m height) with concurrent gas–liquid up flow is proposed with the intention of increasing the gas hold up. The hydrodynamic behaviour is described and characterised by some specific gas and liquid velocities. Particles are easily fluidized and can be uniformly distributed over the whole height of the column. The effect of parameters like liquid flow rate, gas flow rate, particle loading, particle size, and solid density on gas hold up and effect of gas flow rate, solid density and particle size on solid hold up, energy consumption and minimum fluidization velocity has been studied. At the elevated pressures a superior method for better prediction of minimum fluidization velocity and terminal settling velocities has been adopted. The results have been interpreted with Bernoulli’s theorem and Richardson–Zaki equation. Based on the assumption of the gas and liquid as a pretend fluid, a simplification has been made to predict the particle terminal settling velocities. The Richardson–Zaki parameter n′ was compared with Renzo’s results. A correlation has been proposed with the experimental results for the three-phase fluidization.  相似文献

Computing influential nodes gets a lot of attention from many researchers for information spreading in complex networks. It has vast applications, such as viral marketing, social leader creation, rumor control, and opinion monitoring. The information-spreading ability of influential nodes is greater compared with other nodes in the network. Several researchers proposed centrality measures to compute the influential nodes in a complex network, such as degree, betweenness, closeness, semi-local centralities, and PageRank. These centrality methods are defined based on the local and/or global information of nodes in the network. However, due to their high time complexity, centrality measures based on the global information of nodes have become unsuitable for large-scale networks. Very few centrality measures exist that are based on the attributes between nodes and the structure of the network. We propose the nearest neighborhood trust PageRank (NTPR) based on the structural attributes of neighbors and nearest neighbors of nodes. We define the measure based on the degree ratio, the similarity between nodes, the trust values of neighbors, and the nearest neighbors. We computed the influential nodes in various real-world networks using the proposed centrality method. We found the maximum influence by using influential nodes with SIR and independent cascade methods. We also compare the maximum influence of our centrality measure with the existing basic centrality measures.  相似文献

In this paper, we demonstrate the effect of halide ions on the formation of biogenically prepared gold nanotriangles using the leaf extract of lemongrass (Cymbopogon flexuosus) plant. We have also studied the effect of halide ions on the morphology of biogenic nanotriangles. It has been shown that iodide ions have a greater propensity to transform flat gold nanotriangles into circular disk-like structures as compared to other halide ions. The study also suggests that the presence of Cl- ions during the synthesis promotes the growth of nanotriangles, whereas the presence of I- ions distorts the nanotriangle morphology and induces the formation of aggregated spherical nanoparticles. The change in the morphology of gold nanotriangles has been explained in terms of the ability of the halide ions to stabilize or inhibit the formation of (111) faces to form [111] oriented gold nanotriangles. Last, we have also shown that the temperature is an important parameter for controlling the aspect ratio and the relative amounts of gold nanotriangles and spherical particles. The results show that, by varying the temperature of reaction condition, the shape, size, and optical properties of anisotropic nanoparticles can be fine-tuned.  相似文献

We investigate the modulational instability of symmetric and asymmetric continuous wave solutions in Bose–Einstein condensates in optical lattices with Feshbach resonance managed atomic scattering length. The model is based on a pair of averaged coupled mode Gross–Pitaevskii equations. We analyze the characteristics of the modulational instability in the form of typical dependence of the instability growth rate on the perturbation wavenumber and system’s parameters. We have numerically solved the coupled mode equations by using the split step Fourier method. Convincing agreement has been obtained between analytical and numerical results. Furthermore, the moving and stationary gap solitons in the first spectral gap of the optical lattices for the same amplitude but different phases in the presence and absence of the mean atomic scattering length under the Feshbach resonance management are also constructed.  相似文献

We derive two optimal a posteriori error estimators for an implicit fully discrete approximation to the solutions of linear integro‐differential equations of the parabolic type. A continuous, piecewise linear finite element space is used for the space discretization and the time discretization is based on an implicit backward Euler method. The a posteriori error indicator corresponding to space discretization is derived using the anisotropic interpolation estimates in conjunction with a Zienkiewicz‐Zhu error estimator to approach the error gradient. The error due to time discretization is derived using continuous, piecewise linear polynomial in time. We use the linear approximation of the Volterra integral term to estimate the quadrature error in the second estimator.
