Determination of the availability of phases for specific separations is an important task achieved by a separation chemist. This becomes vital when the complex samples like biofluids are dealt with in proteome science. The work presented here involves the synthesis and application of terpolymeric sorbent with different functionalizations adopted for the selective enrichment of biomolecules of interest from biological fluids. Synthesis of terpolymer was carried out by the radical polymerization of monomers: methyl acrylate, acrylic acid and vinyl acetate with diethylene glycol dimethacrylate as cross‐linking agent, benzoyl peroxide as initiator and chloroform as a porogenic solvent. Characterization was done through Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy and nitrogen adsorption porosimetry. The polymer was further modified to immobilized metal ion affinity chromatographic material, with immobilized Fe3+/La3+ ions that allowed phosphopeptide enrichment from tryptic digests of standard proteins as well as milk, egg yolk and human serum. Sensitivity of enrichment down to 50 fmol was achieved in the presence of complex protein background as bovine serum albumin. Hydrophobicity was introduced through octadecyl amine, which provides comparable results to ZipTip C18/C4 for desalting of complex mixtures of all caseins. Palladium nanoparticles immobilized on EDTA‐modified Fe3O4@SiO2 nanospheres as an efficient and magnetically separable catalyst for Suzuki and Sonogashira cross‐coupling reactions 下载免费PDF全文
In this study, a novel heterogeneous palladium catalyst was synthesized by anchoring palladium onto ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA)‐coated Fe3O4@SiO2 magnetic nanocomposite and used for the Suzuki and Sonogashira cross‐coupling reactions. The properties of the magnetic catalyst were characterized by FT‐IR, XRD, TEM, FE‐SEM, DLS EDX, XPS, N2 adsorption‐desorption isotherm analysis, TGA, VSM, elemental analysis and the loading level of Pd in catalyst was measured to be 0.51 mmol/g by ICP. The catalyst was used in Suzuki cross‐coupling reactions of various aryl halides, including less reactive chlorobenzenes with phenylboronic acid without any additive or ligand under green conditions. Furthermore, we have reported this recyclable catalytic system for Sonogashira cross‐coupling reactions of various aryl halides (I, Br, Cl) under copper and ligand‐free conditions in the presence of DMF/H2O (1:2/v:v) as a solvent. Edible oils are used in the preparation of foods as a part of their recipe or for frying. So to ensure of food safety, checking the quality of the oils before and after usage is an important subject in food control laboratories. In this study, edible oils from four different sources (canola, corn, sunflower and frying) were heated for 36 h at 170 °C and sampling was done every 6 h. The free fatty acid, peroxide value and the content of some fatty acids (C16:0, C18:0, C18:1, C18:2, C18:3) of the oil samples were determined by standard methods. Then, the ATR-FTIR spectra of the samples were collected. The partial least squares (PLS) regression combined with genetic algorithm was performed on the spectroscopic data to obtain the appropriate predictive models for the simultaneous estimation of acid value, peroxide value and the percentage of five kinds of fatty acids. The effect of some preprocessing methods on these models was also investigated. Preprocessing of data by orthogonal signal correction (OSC) resulted in the best predictive models for all oil properties. The correlation coefficients of calibration set (>0.99) and validation set (>0.86 and in most case >0.94) of the OSC–PLS model suggested suitable predictive modeling for all studied parameters in the oil samples. This method could be suggested as a rapid, economical and environmental friendly technique for simultaneous determination of seven noted parameters in the edible oils. 相似文献
