This work details the synthesis, characterization, and catalytic activity of reactive low-coordinate organozinc complexes. The complexes activate hydrogen and they appear to be more active in hydrogenation of ketones and imines than their tridentate pincer analogs. This is thought, in part, to be due to the lack of trailing third phosphorus arm present in previous work. DFT computations reveal a sigma-bond metathesis mechanism is comparable to an alternative aromatization/dearomatization metal-ligand cooperative mechanism.  相似文献

We report on our successful development of the first metal-catalyzed mono-α-arylation of carbonyl compounds employing a soluble organic base. The scope of these Ni/DalPhos-catalyzed transformations encompasses a range of (hetero)aryl halides (Cl, Br, I) and phenol-derived electrophiles (sulfonates, carbonates, carbamates, sulfamates), including active pharmaceutical ingredients (chloroquine, clozapine), in combination with the typically problematic feedstock small molecule substrates acetone, dimethylacetamide, and for the first time with any metal catalyst/base, ethyl acetate.  相似文献

Oxidation is the most commonly used method of passivating porous silicon (PSi) surfaces against unwanted reactions with guest molecules and temporal changes during storage or use. In the present study, several oxidation methods were compared in order to find optimal methods able to generate inert surfaces free of reactive hydrides but would cause minimal changes in the pore structure of PSi. The studied methods included thermal oxidations, liquid-phase oxidations, annealings, and their combinations. The surface-oxidized samples were studied by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, isothermal titration microcalorimetry, nitrogen sorption, ellipsometry, X-ray diffraction, electron paramagnetic resonance spectroscopy, and scanning electron microscopy imaging. Treatment at high temperature was found to have two advantages. First, it enables the generation of surfaces free of hydrides, which is not possible at low temperatures in a liquid or a gas phase. Second, it allows the silicon framework to partially accommodate a volume expansion because of oxidation, whereas at low temperature the volume expansion significantly consumes the free pore volume. The most promising methods were further optimized to minimize the negative effects on the pore structure. Simple thermal oxidation at 700 °C was found to be an effective oxidation method although it causes a large decrease in the pore volume. A novel combination of thermal oxidation, annealing, and liquid-phase oxidation was also effective and caused a smaller decrease in the pore volume with no significant change in the pore diameter but was more complicated to perform. Both methods produced surfaces that were not found to react with a model drug cinnarizine in isothermal titration microcalorimetry experiments. The study enables a reasonable choice of oxidation method for PSi applications.  相似文献

Ammosamide D (1), an oxidized analog of the ammosamide family, was isolated from a marine-derived Streptomyces variabilis. Pyrroloquinoline containing alkaloids are a growing class of natural products, with 1 being the first example of an oxidized analog resulting in a 5,6-dioxo-5,6-dihydroquinoline ring system. Attempts at chemical conversion of ammosamide B to ammosamide D revealed that a strong chemical oxidant is required. Ammosamide D has modest cytotoxicity to the MIA PaCa-2 pancreatic cancer cell line.  相似文献

The direct α‐arylation of cyclic and acyclic ethers with heteroarenes has been accomplished through the design of a photoredox‐mediated C H functionalization pathway. Transiently generated α‐oxyalkyl radicals, produced from a variety of widely available ethers through hydrogen atom transfer (HAT), were coupled with a range of electron‐deficient heteroarenes in a Minisci‐type mechanism. This mild, visible‐light‐driven protocol allows direct access to medicinal pharmacophores of broad utility using feedstock substrates and a commercial photocatalyst.  相似文献

The first highly enantioselective α-fluorination of ketones using organocatalysis has been accomplished. The long-standing problem of enantioselective ketone α-fluorination via enamine activation has been overcome via high-throughput evaluation of a new library of amine catalysts. The optimal system, a primary amine functionalized Cinchona alkaloid, allows the direct and asymmetric α-fluorination of a variety of carbo- and heterocyclic substrates. Furthermore, this protocol also provides diastereo-, regio-, and chemoselective catalyst control in fluorinations involving complex carbonyl systems.  相似文献
