Non-linear natural vibration characteristics and the dynamic response of hingeless and fully articulated rotors of rectangular cross-section are studied by using the finite element method. In the formulation of response problems, the global variables are augmented with appropriate additional variables, facilitating direct determination of sub-harmonic response. Numerical results are given showing the effect of the geometric non-linearity on the first three natural frequencies. Response analysis of typical rotors indicates a possibility of substantial sub-harmonic response especially in the fully articulated rotors widely adopted in helicopters.  相似文献

In this paper, we extend the results of Tarski, Abian and Brown on the completeness of lattices by fixed point theorems, to partially ordered sets or (Po sets) with chain completeness property. We also sharpen some of the existing results on completeness of lattices and fixed-point theorems. We also provide counter examples to some of the claims of R. Taskovic to disprove his theorem.Milan R. Taskovic claims to have proved this theorem but his proof is based on a false argument. In fact most of the contentions of Milan R. Taskovic in [4] are factually incorrect. Actually, reviewer of Taskovics paper has pointed out some of his inaccurate observations. See Mathematical Reviews No. 90b:06007, 06A10.  相似文献

Abstract

In this study, dense fine-grained ZrB2 and TiB2 were fabricated using reactive spark plasma sintering (RSPS) of ball-milled Zr/B and Ti/B mixtures. Systematic investigations were carried out to understand the mechanisms of reactive sintering. Two densification mechanisms were found to be operating during RSPS. The first stage of densification was due to self-propagating high temperature synthesis reaction leading to formation of ZrB2 and TiB2 compacts having relative density of ~48 and ~65%, respectively. The second stage of densification occurred at temperatures more than 1100 °C and resulted in final relative density of more than 98%. Electron backscatter diffraction and electron microscopy studies on interrupted RSPS samples as well as dense samples showed deformed grains and presence of slip steps while grain orientation spread map and pole figure analysis confirmed plastic flow. Plastic flow-aided pore closure is shown as major mechanism during reactive sintering.  相似文献

Abstract

Enhancements in atomic diffusion during deformation are investigated by 23Na rotating frame nuclear spin relaxation measurements on pure NaCl single crystals. The enhanced diffusion is shown to arise from deformation-induced excess concentration of vacancies. Evaluation of the data yields the concentration of these vacancies as a function of temperature and strain rate.  相似文献

The dielectricconstant variation with temperature of N-(p-n-butoxybenzylidene)p-n-butylaniline is presented in the isotropic, nematic, smectic A and smectic B phases. A new transition in the nematic phase is reported. The derived parameter, molar susceptibility anisotropy, Δσ, is also determined.  相似文献
