We report the optical bistability in CdSxSe1-x-doped glass channel waveguide with rise and fall times of about 24 and 30ps, respectively, in bistable switching by means of fiber coupling input with a power of about 3mW. The third-order nonlinear susceptibility (x(3)) of CdSxSe1-x-doped glass is estimated experimentally to be 1.8×10-9 esu. The high speed switching and the value of x(1) show that the optical bistability is caused by an optical nonlinearity which can be attributed to the band-filling effect. 相似文献

Novel Y1 x yVO4:xDy3+,yBi3+(0.01 ≤ x ≤ 0.05,0 ≤ y ≤ 0.20) phosphors for light emitting diode(LED) were successfully synthesised by solid-state reaction.The calculation results of electronic structure show that YVO4 has a direct band gap with 3 eV at G.The top of the valence band is dominated by O 2p state and the bottom of the conduction band is mainly composed of O 2p and V 3d states.An efficient yellow emission under near-ultraviolet(365 nm) excitation is observed.Compared with the pure YVO4:Dy3+ samples,the Dy3+,Bi3+ co-doped samples show a more intensive emission peak(at 574 nm) and a new broad emission band(450-770 nm),due to the 4F9/2 6H13/2 transition of Dy3+ and the emission of the VO3 4 Bi3+ complex respectively.The optimum chromaticity index of Y1 x yVO4:xDy3+,yBi3+(0.01 ≤ x ≤ 0.05,0 ≤ y ≤ 0.20) is(0.447,0.497),which indicates that YVO4:Dy3+,Bi3+ has higher colour saturation than the commercial phosphor YAG:Ce3+.The effects of concentration of Dy3+,Bi3+,electric states and the photoluminescence properties are discussed in details. 相似文献

Y 0.75 -x Gd x Al 0.10 BO 3 :Eu0.10 3+, 0.05R 3+ (R=Sc, Bi) (0.00 ≤ x ≤ 0.45) powder samples are prepared by solid-state reaction and their luminescence properties are investigated. With the replacement of Y 3+ ions by Sc 3+ (or Bi 3+ ) and Gd 3+ ions in (Y,Al)BO 3 :Eu, the intensities of emission at 254 and 147 nm are remarkably improved, because Sc 3+ ions can absorb UV light and transfer the energy to Eu 3+ ions efficiently. Moreover, Gd 3+ and Bi 3+ ions act as an intermediate "bridge" between the sensitizer and the activator (Eu 3+ ) in energy transfer to produce light in the (Y, Gd)BO 3 :Bi 3+ , Eu 3+ system more effectively. After doping an appropriate concentration of Gd 3+ into Y 0.50 Gd 0.25 Al 0.10 BO 3 :Eu0.01 3+ , Bi0.05 3+ , the emission intensity reaches its maximum, which is nearly 110% compared with the red commercial phosphor (Y,Gd)BO 3 :Eu and better chromaticity coordinates (0.650, 0.350) are obtained. 相似文献

High-efficiency polymer light-emitting diodes were fabricated by inserting a layer of nonionic neutral surfactant between the electroluminescent (EL) layer and the high-work-function aluminum cathode via spin coating. It was found that both the poly(ethylene glycol)- and poly(propylene glycol)-based surfactants as well as their copolymers can all demonstrate similar performance enhancement. Device performances comparable to or even better than those of the control devices using calcium as the cathode have been achieved for both poly(p-phenylene)-based and polyfluorene-based conjugated polymers with orange-red, green, and blue emission colors. It is possible that when both surfactant and aluminum are used as the cathode, the abundant hole injection through a hole-transporting layer and hole pile-up at the inner side of the EL/surfactant interface might cause an effective electric field to induce the realignment of the dipole moment of those polar surfactant molecules, thus lowering the barrier for electron injection. In addition, the coordination between the aluminum and oxygen atoms on the surfactant might cause n-type doping in the areas near surfactant in the EL polymer layer that causes the enhancement of electron injection. 相似文献

A continuum opinion dynamic model is presented based on two rules. The first one considers the mobilities of the individuals, the second one supposes that the individuals update their opinions independently. The results of the model indicate that the bounded confidence εc, separating consensus and incoherent states, of a scale-free network is much smaller than the one of a lattice. If the system can reach the consensus state, the sum of all individuals' opinion change Oc(t) quickly decreases in an exponential form, while if it reaches the incoherent state finally, Oc(t) decreases slowly and has the punctuated equilibrium characteristic. 相似文献
