It has been established by X-ray structural analysis that 2-(1-biphenyl-4-yl-1-hydroxy)methyl-p-menthan-3-one, one of the products of the reaction of (–)-menthone triisopropyloxytitanium enolate with 4-phenylbenzaldehyde, has a 1R,2S,4S,1S configuration. In crystals, this -hydroxyketone adopts a chair conformation with equatorial methyl and isopropyl groups and an axial 2-(1-biphenyl-4-yl-1-hydroxy)methyl substituent. Unlike the stereoisomeric compound with the 1R,2S,4S,1S configuration, the exocyclic fragment of which has an intramolecular >C=O...H-O- hydrogen bond in crystals and solutions, in the crystals of the 1R,2S,4S,1S ketol under study, molecules are linked by a network of cooperative -O-H...O-H...O-H... hydrogen bonds. Based on the results of molecular mechanics calculations and experimental data of1H NMR and IR spectroscopy, conformations of molecules of this compound, which are in equilibrium in solution, have been characterized. Based on data on spatial structures of stereoisomeric -hydroxyketones and the character of H-bonds formed by these compounds, the characteristic features of the effect of these chiral alloying additives on the supramolecular structure and macroscopic properties of liquid crystalline systems have been interpreted.The results of a study of stereoselectivity of the reactions of different (–)-menthone enolates with aromatic aldehydes will be published later.Translated fromIzvestiya Akademii Nauk. The kinetic characteristics of the optical decoloration of F centers in cleavage whiskers and needle-shaped crystals (ordinary whiskers) are analyzed. The effect of the size of the ordinary and cleavage whiskers on the optical stability of the F centers as well as the initial concentration of the latter is established. Two new steroid glycosides of the spirostan series have been isolated from the fruit ofAllium cepa L. (family Liliaceae): alliospirosides C and D. On the basis of chemical transformations and spectral characteristics it has been established that the aglycon of both glycosides is a new steroid sapogenin — cepagenin — having the structure of (24S,25R)-spirost-5-ene-1β,3β,24-triol. Alliospirosides C and D are cepagenin 1-O-[O-α-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1→2)α-L-arabinopyranoside] and 1-O-[O-α-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1→2)-O-β-D-galactopyranoside], respectively.  相似文献

The structure and the charge transport properties of poly(ethylene terephthalate) track membranes modified in a thiophene plasma were studied. It was found that polymer deposition on the surface of a track membrane via the plasma polymerization of thiophene results in composite membranes that, in the case of the formation of a semipermeable layer, exhibit conductivity asymmetry—rectifying effect—in electrolyte solutions. It was shown that chemical doping with iodine or photo-oxidation of the polymer layer produced in plasma leads to alteration in the electrochemical properties of plasma-modified membranes.  相似文献

The light reflection spectra and the magnetorefractive effect in the cobalt-based amorphous ribbons in the IR spectral region (λ = 2.5–25 μm) are studied. These amorphous alloys are characterized by the magnetoimpedance effect, which is enhanced after thermal and laser annealing. It is found that the magnetoimpedance and magnetorefractive effects correlate with each other. The magnetorefractive effect reveals a feature at λ = 15–20 μm and the change of sign in the wavelength region 20–25 μm. It is shown that, in the first approximation, the optical properties of the amorphous alloys in the IR spectral region can be explained on the basis of a modified Hagen-Rubens relation. It is found that the change in the reflection coefficient of amorphous metal films in the IR spectral region under action of a magnetic field is caused by the change in both their magnetic permeability and conductivity, which is caused by the degree of polarization of localized electronic states at the Fermi level.  相似文献

The pattern of the two-dimensional vortex flow of a nonhomogeneous fluid in a confined domain is studied using two-dimensional numerical calculations. It is found that in the case of a nonhomogeneous initial density distribution the kinetic energy decay rates are proportional to the square root of viscosity at the active stage of flow restructuring. The correlation functions of the velocity and the density are derived for different moments of time in the inertial range. All these results indicate the choice of the two-dimensional turbulence development scenario in a nonhomogeneous fluid.  相似文献

Applying the electron-beam preirradiation method in air the cation - exchange fabric (CEF) containing sulfonic acid (R-SO3H) groups was prepared by graft copolymerization of sodium styrenesulfonate with acrylic acid onto non woven polypropylene fabric. The effect of reaction conditions on the grafting yield and reaction mechanism was examined. The ion-exchange properties towards Cu(II) and Co(II) ions of the CEF were investigated depending on the form of the CEF and a pH of the solution. It was found that the synthesized CEF contains both strong acid groups (R-SO3H) and weak acid (R-COOH) groups in almost equal proportion. The utilization of the CEF in Na+ form allows to make the best use of its ion-exchange capacity.  相似文献

Granular films of composition (CoFe)x(HfO2)1−x with continuous variation of the Co0.5Fe0.5 volume fraction in the range 0.1<x<0.9 have been prepared by e-beam co-evaporation. The optical properties of the thin granular composite films have been determined from transmission and reflection spectra in the 300–1100 nm region. The optical characteristics of the granular films as a function of x were also determined by the ellipsometrical method at λ=632.8 nm. We find that the transmission and reflection spectra and the dielectrical function have anomalies near the percolation threshold at xp≈0.45. The Faraday rotation in the films was determined at λ=632.8 nm. The spectral dispersion of Faraday effects have peak in the region of the plasmon frequency. The Faraday effect is greatly enhanced near xp. The calculated optical and magneto-optical parameters, described in the framework of the effective medium approximation, are in qualitative agreement with experimental data.  相似文献
