Temperature-programmed reaction/desorption, reflection-absorption infrared spectroscopy, and density functional theory calculations have been employed to investigate the adsorption and thermal reactions of ClCH2CH2OH on clean and oxygen-precovered Cu(100) surfaces. On Cu(100), ClCH2CH2OH is mainly adsorbed reversibly. The ClCH2CH2OH molecules at a submonolayer coverage can change their orientation with increasing temperature. However, on oxygen-precovered Cu(100), all of the adsorbed ClCH2CH2OH molecules below 0.5 langmuir exposures completely dissociate to generate ethylene and acetaldehyde via the intermediate of ClCH2CH2O-. The computational studies predict that the ClCH2CH2O- is most likely to be adsorbed at the 4-fold hollow sites of Cu(100), with its C-O bond only slightly titled away from the surface normal and with a gauche conformation with respect to the C-C bond. The hollow-site ClCH2CH2O- has an adsorption energy that is 4.4 and 19.2 kcal x mol(-1) lower than that of the ClCH2CH2O- bonded at the bridging and atop sites, respectively. No significant effect of precovered oxygen on the ClCH2CH2O- bonding geometry and infrared band frequencies has been observed, as compared with the case without oxygen.  相似文献

Two new ent‐kaurane diterpenoids, taihangexcisoidesin C (1) and its acetonide, taihangexcisoidesin D (2), along with 9 known compounds were isolated from the leaves of Isodon excisoides. The structures of the new compounds were elucidated using 1D and 2D NMR spectroscopy analysis. Compounds 3‐6 and 8‐9 were tested for their antibacterial activity against Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, S. epidermidis and S. saprophyticus. Compound 6 showed inhibitory effects on Staphylococcus aureus, S. epidermidis and S. saprophyticus MIC values 32, 16 and 16 μg/mL, respectively. All of the compounds didn't show effects on Escherichia coli (MIC > 10 mg/mL).  相似文献

In this paper, it is reported that the efficient iodolactonization of 4,5-allenoic acid with I2 in cyclohexane in the presence or absence of K2CO3 afforded 5-(1'-iodo-1'(Z)-alkenyl)-4,5-dihydro-2(3H)-furanones highly stereoselectively. However, the reaction of axially optically active 4,5-allenoic acids (R)-(-)-5 a and (R)-(-)-5 b with I2 afforded the corresponding products with a serious loss of chirality. This problem was solved by conducting the iodolactonization with N-iodosuccinimide in CH2Cl2 in the presence of Cs2CO3; however, the Z/E selectivity is somewhat lower. The pure optically active Z products were prepared by subsequent kinetic resolution with Sonogashira coupling. The reaction of the substrates with a substituent at the 3-position of the starting 4,5-allenoic acids afforded the trans-4,5-disubstituted gamma-butyrolactones as the only products. The reaction of the 4,5-allenoic acids (S)-(+)-1 l, (R)-(-)-1 l, and (S)-(+)-1 m with a center chirality at the 3-position afforded the trans products with very high enantiopurity and up to 98:2 Z/E selectivity regardless of the axial chirality of the allene moiety.  相似文献

A Rh(I)/(R)-Tol-BINAP catalyst reacts with a racemic mixture of 4-alkynals to selectively furnish a cyclobutanone from the (R)-substrate and a cyclopentenone from the (S)-substrate. The advent of chiral Lewis base-promoted allylation of aldehydes has opened a new direction in the catalytic enantioselective construction of homoallylic alcohols. This short review outlines the conceptual framework for the creation of this new process and the interplay of mechanistic investigations and synthetic studies that have conspired to produce a useful new reaction. Properties of BaTiO3 colloidal quantum dots and wires are simulated using a first-principles-based approach. Large atomic off-center displacements (that are robust against capping matrix materials) are found to exist in very small (<5 nm) dots. We further determine the size dependences of electrical and electromechanical responses in the studied nanostructures, as well as provide microscopic understanding of these responses.  相似文献
