For a nonautonomous linear equation x′ = A(t)x we show how to characterize a nonuniform exponential dichotomy using strict Lyapunov functions. In particular, the stable and unstable subspaces are obtained from invariant families of cones determined by each Lyapunov function. We also obtain converse theorems, constructing explicitly a family of strict Lyapunov functions for each nonuniform exponential dichotomy. We emphasize that nonuniform exponential dichotomies include as a very particular case (uniform) exponential dichotomies. 相似文献

We report on the chemical design of chiral molecular junctions with stress-dependent conductance, whose helicity is maintained during the stretching of a single molecule junction due to the stapling of both ends of the inner helix. In the reported compounds, different conductive pathways are observed, with clearly different conductance values and plateau-length distributions, attributed to different conformations of the helical structures. The large chiro-optical responses and the potential use of these molecules as unimolecular spin filters have been theoretically proved using state-of-the-art Density Functional Theory (DFT) calculations, including a fully ab-initio estimation of the CISS-originating spin polarization which is done, for the first time, for a realistic molecular system. 相似文献

CdS semiconductor nanocrystals were grown as quantum dots (QDs) inside a silica matrix obtained by the sol-gelmethod and assisted in the mother liquid by high powerultrasounds. Small-angle neutron scattering (SANS) accountsfor a 3.6 nm crystal size homogeneously distributed. Optical excitation from the third harmonic of a Nd:YAG ns laser wasfocused on the sample to study the photoluminescence (PL) atroom temperature. The PL spectrum shows radiative processfrom intrinsic transitions and a broad band corresponding tothe traps. Variable stripe length (VSL) method was used to measure the optical gain spectra by the growth of theamplified luminescence. A broad optical gain spectrumproduced by the biexciton-exciton transitions revealing thestimulated emission from the CdS QDs. One of the quality control parameters of ethanol fuel is pH, established by the Brazilian standard ABNT NBR 10891, whose scope is specific for hydrated ethanol fuel, and by the American standard ASTM D 6423, which focuses on anhydrous ethanol fuel. This study presented a modified and optimized structure using a single solvent, both for the glass electrode and the external reference electrode, to minimize the presence of the liquid junction potential for measuring the pH of hydrated ethanol fuel. The Box–Behnken design enabled us to determine the optimal condition expected for the new measurement system, which was compared with the systems proposed by the standard references and the turning range of acid–base indicators using parametric and nonparametric tests. The results revealed that the pH values obtained by the different systems are statistically different, and that only the values obtained by this proposal are suitable for the pH range found by the indicators. The optimized electrode presented an adequate response sensitivity to the Nernst equation, having an operational behavior adequate for the modified and optimized glass electrode for pH measurements in hydrated ethanol fuel. 相似文献

The Surface‐enhanced Raman scattering of benzenesulfonamide and sulfanilamide adsorbed on silver sols was studied. On the basis of the noticeable shifts observed for wavenumbers of the νs(OSO), ν(CS), and ν(SN) vibrations with respect to the Raman spectra of the solids and the ionic solutions, we conclude that these molecules are adsorbed on silver nanoclusters at pH ≥ 7 with the aminosulfonyl groups partially deprotonated. The benzenesulfonamide links to the metal through the nitrogen atom of the corresponding azanion, while the sulfanilamide interacts in turn through the nitrogen atoms of the –NH2 and –SO2NH– groups in the para‐position. Additionally, it was found that the most enhanced surface‐enhanced Raman scattering bands, especially the 8a;νring mode, are related to the presence of the charge transfer mechanism.
