The effect of pulsed laser treatment of metal, and metal blacks, was studied. Gold and black gold thin films were fabricated by thermal evaporation of gold in a vacuum and nitrogen atmosphere respectively. Black gold films were grown in a nitrogen atmosphere at pressures of 200 Pa and 300 Pa. UV pulsed laser radiation (λ = 266 nm, τ = 4 ns), with fluence ranging from 1 mJ·cm−2 to 250 mJ·cm−2 was used for the film treatment in a vacuum and nitrogen atmosphere. The nitrogen pressure was varied up to 100 kPa. Surface structure modifications were analyzed by optical microscopy, atomic force microscopy (AFM) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX) was used for chemical characterization of the samples. A significant dependence of the film optical and structural properties on laser treatment conditions (laser fluence, ambient pressure and number of applied pulses) was found. The threshold for observable damage and initiation of changes of morphology for gold and black gold surfaces was determined. Distinct modifications were observed for fluences greater than 106 mJ·cm−2 and 3.5 mJ·cm−2 for the gold and black gold films respectively. Absorbtivity of the black gold film is found to decrease with an increase in the number of laser pulses. Microstructural and nanostructural modifications after laser treatment of the black gold film were observed. EDX analysis revealed that no impurities were introduced into the samples during both the deposition and laser treatment.   相似文献

We present a simple method for measuring the wavelength dependence of both the phase and group birefringences in a quartz crystal of known thickness. The method utilizes interference of polarized waves resolved by a fiber-optic spectrometer as a channeled spectrum (spectral fringes). The fringe order versus the precise position of the interference maximum in the spectrum is fitted to the approximate function, from which the phase birefringence as a function of wavelength is retrieved. We also determine the group birefringence dispersion. The functions measured in a range from 500 to 900 nm are compared with those resulting from the available dispersion relation, and very good agreement is confirmed.  相似文献

Working over a pseudo-Riemannian manifold, for each vector bundle with connection we construct a sequence of three differential operators which is a complex (termed a Yang-Mills detour complex) if and only if the connection satisfies the full Yang-Mills equations. A special case is a complex controlling the deformation theory of Yang-Mills connections. In the case of Riemannian signature the complex is elliptic. If the connection respects a metric on the bundle then the complex is formally self-adjoint. In dimension 4 the complex is conformally invariant and generalises, to the full Yang-Mills setting, the composition of (two operator) Yang-Mills complexes for (anti-)self-dual Yang-Mills connections. Via a prolonged system and tractor connection a diagram of differential operators is constructed which, when commutative, generates differential complexes of natural operators from the Yang-Mills detour complex. In dimension 4 this construction is conformally invariant and is used to yield two new sequences of conformal operators which are complexes if and only if the Bach tensor vanishes everywhere. In Riemannian signature these complexes are elliptic. In one case the first operator is the twistor operator and in the other sequence it is the operator for Einstein scales. The sequences are detour sequences associated to certain Bernstein-Gelfand-Gelfand sequences.  相似文献

Dirac's and Proca's equations are unified in the sense that the algebras of Dirac -matrices and Duffin-Kemmer-matrices are shown to furnish two distinct matrix representations of the Lie algebra of the SO(3,3)-group. This fact is then interpreted as evidence for the classical picture of particles described by the above-mentioned equations to be a relativistic top. The amplification of lower hybrid (LH) driven current of various profiles has been found. The results strongly depend on the plasma temperature profile, on the LH current profile, and on the magnitude of the particle diffusion flux.This work was started during the visit of the author in the I. We discuss basic statistical properties of systems with multifractal structure. This is possible by extending the notion of the usual Gibbs-Shannon entropy into more general framework—Rényi’s information entropy. We address the renormalization issue for Rényi’s entropy on (multi)fractal sets and consequently show how Rényi’s parameter is connected with multifractal singularity spectrum. The maximal entropy approach then provides a passage between Rényi’s information entropy and thermodynamics of multifractals. Important issues such as Rényi’s entropy versus Tsallis-Havrda-Charvat entropy and PDF reconstruction theorem are also studied. Finally, some further speculations on a possible relevance of our approach to cosmology are discussed.  相似文献

We present an analytic solution for the nondegenerate quantum control problem, i.e., the transfer of a deliberate amount of population, 0%-100%, between arbitrary initial Psi(t)> and final Psi'(t)> states, which can be expanded in terms of nondegenerate energy eigenstates k>. Mean-field plasma edge transport codes such as SOLPS-ITER heavily rely on ad-hoc radial diffusion coefficients to approximately model anomalous transport. Such coefficients are experimentally determined and vary between different machines, and also depend on the operational regime and plasma location within the same device. Therefore, to match experimental data the modeller is required to manually tune several free parameters in expensive simulations, and the code's predictive capabilities are significantly downgraded. As a solution, a new model has been developed for SOLPS-ITER, solving an additional transport equation for the turbulent kinetic energy k, derived by consistently time-averaging the Braginskii equations, and including a diffusive closure for the anomalous particle flux. This closure model relates the anomalous diffusion coefficient to the local k value. The resulting equation structure and its closure are inspired by TOKAM2D isothermal interchange turbulence simulation results. Within this model, fewer and hopefully more universal free parameters are retained, thus improving the code's predictive capabilities. The new model has been tested on a COMPASS case for which upstream plasma profiles were available. Experimental data and a reference solution, obtained by matching the profiles through manual tuning of radial diffusivities, have been used to estimate the parameters of our new transport model. A ballooned particle diffusivity profile is retrieved by the new radial transport model, thanks to the proposed interchange drive. The obtained upstream profiles qualitatively agree with the experiment and prove the new model is a promising first attempt to be further refined.  相似文献

A redox-active affinity ligand suitable for reagentless sensing of cis-diols was synthesised and characterised. 4-[(Ferrocenylamino)methyl]thiophene-3-boronic acid (FcTBA) was allowed to interact with the model cis-diol, sorbitol. A discrete, cathodic shift of the redox potential was observed upon interaction of FcTBA with sorbitol thus providing simultaneous differentiation between the free and bound forms of this sensor molecule. Similar behaviour was observed also for FcTBA co-immobilised with thiophene in a mixed self-assembled monolayer on a gold electrode.  相似文献
