The highly stable nitrosyl iron(II) mononuclear complex [Fe(bztpen)(NO)](PF6)2 (bztpen=N‐benzyl‐N,N′,N′‐tris(2‐pyridylmethyl)ethylenediamine) displays an S=1/2?S=3/2 spin crossover (SCO) behavior (T1/2=370 K, ΔH=12.48 kJ mol?1, ΔS=33 J K?1 mol?1) stemming from strong magnetic coupling between the NO radical (S=1/2) and thermally interconverted (S=0?S=2) ferrous spin states. The crystal structure of this robust complex has been investigated in the temperature range 120–420 K affording a detailed picture of how the electronic distribution of the t2g–eg orbitals modulates the structure of the {FeNO}7 bond, providing valuable magneto–structural and spectroscopic correlations and DFT analysis. 相似文献

A synthetic route towards homodiselenacalix[4]arene macrocycles is presented, based on the dynamic covalent chemistry of diselenides. The calixarene inner rim is decorated with either alkoxy or tert‐butyl ester groups. Single‐crystal X‐ray analysis of two THF solvates with methoxy and ethoxy substituents reveals the high similarity of their molecular structures and alterations on the supramolecular level. In both crystal structures, solvent channels are present and differ in both shape and capacity. Furthermore, the methoxy‐substituted macrocycle undergoes a single‐crystal‐to‐single‐crystal transformation during which the molecular structure changes its conformation from 1,3‐alternate (loaded with THF/water) to 1,2‐alternate (apohost form). This work represents the Raman spectra of 15 natural artists' materials that were obtained from local market in Mexico. Some of these products are not endemic to the region, but are often used in local conservation practice. Other materials are of local origin and have been used for centuries by local craftsmen. The Raman spectra that are reported here are: Chia oil, linseed oil, Campeche wax, beeswax, white copal, dammar, colophony, mastic, pixoy, chapopote, chucum, aje gum, gutta gum, peach gum and gum Arabic. The sample of pixoy was mixed with TiO(2), although it was not clear whether this was done intentionally or not. The Raman spectrum of chapopote, the local name for bitumen, contained features of carbonaceous and terpenoid matter. The Raman spectra of chapopote and chucum suffered severely from fluorescence, resulting in noisy Raman spectra. Aje gum and gutta gum are not gums, since they are resinous (terpenoid) in nature. Aje is a rare animal resin originating from Coccus axin. 相似文献

Complexes [Re(ONCMe2)(CO)3(bipy)] (1) and [Re(ONCMe2)(CO)3(phen)] (2), synthesized by reaction of the respective triflato precursors [Re(OTf)(CO)3(N-N)] (N-N = bipy, phen) with KONCMe2, feature O-bonded monodentate oximato ligands. Compound [Re(CO)3(phen)(HONCMe2)]BAr'4 (3), with a monodentate N-bonded oxime ligand, was prepared by reaction of [Re(OTf)(CO)3(phen)], HONCMe2, and NaBAr'4. Deprotonation of 3 afforded 2. The oximato complexes reacted with p-tolylisocyanate, p-tolylisothiocyanate, maleic anhydride, and tetracyanoethylene, affording the products of the insertion of the electrophile into the Re-O bond, compounds 4-7. One representative of each type of compound was fully characterized, including single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The reactions of 1 and 2 with dimethylacetylenedicarboxylate were found to involve first an insertion as the ones mentioned above but followed by incorporation of water, loss of acetone, and formation of the charge-separated neutral amido complexes 9 and 10. The structure of 9 and 10 was determined by X-ray diffraction, and key features of their electronic distribution were studied using a topological analysis of the electron density as obtained from the Fourier map. 相似文献

The growth and structure of self-assembled adlayers of hexakis(n-dodecyl)-peri-hexabenzocoronene (HBC-C12) adsorbed on highly ordered pyrolitic graphite (HOPG) decorated by an n-pentacontane (n-C50H102) monolayer have been investigated by scanning tunneling microscopy (STM). Whereas on HOPG the HBC-C12 molecules readily self-assemble into a unique stable 2D structure, on the [n-C50H102 monolayer/graphite] system we observe morphological phase transitions with formation of time dependent alpha, beta, and gamma phases (alpha-->beta-->gamma). The initial alpha-phase is similar to that obtained on bare graphite, while intermediate beta- and final gamma-structures present molecular dimers and rows, respectively. The observed two-dimensional polymorphism is due to weak interaction between HBC-C12 molecules and n-C50H102-modified graphite substrate. Our results constitute an important step toward the control of the growth and structure of highly ordered monolayers of functional conjugated molecules by modifying the graphite surface with an n-alkane monolayer of appropriate chain length. 相似文献

Encapsulation of flavor and aroma compounds has been largely explored in order to meet appraisal demands from consumers by improving the impact of flavor during the consumption of food products. Even though several techniques have been used for encapsulating volatile compounds, i.e., spray drying, fluidized bed coating, coacervation, and melt extrusion, those most frequently used in the food industry are spray drying and melt extrusion. In this article, the different techniques of encapsulation of flavors and fragrances in polymer-based matrices by extrusion are reviewed and partly re-defined, emphasizing the differences between the various techniques reported so far and the role of matrix types, additives, and operative conditions. Rab/Ypt guanosine triphosphatases (GTPases) represent a family of key membrane traffic regulators in eukaryotic cells. For their function Rab/Ypt proteins require double modification with two covalently bound geranylgeranyl lipid moieties at the C-terminus. Generally, prenylated proteins are very difficult to obtain by recombinant or enzymatic methods. We generated prenylated RabGTPases using a combination of chemical synthesis and protein engineering. This semi-synthesis depends largely on the availability of functionalized prenylated peptides corresponding to the proteins' native structure or modifications. We developed solution phase and solid phase strategies for the generation of peptides corresponding to the prenylated C-terminus of Rab7 GTPase in preparative amounts enabling us to crystallize the mono-prenylated Ypt1:RabGDI complex. The structure of the complex provides a structural basis for the ability of RabGDI to inhibit the release of nucleotide by Rab proteins and a molecular basis for understanding a RabGDI mutant that causes mental retardation in humans. 相似文献

Serotonin or 5-hydroxytryptamine (5-HT) is a major neurotransmitter in the central nervous system. In this work, a method for analyzing 5-HT in brain microdialysis samples using a commercially available capillary electrophoresis (CE) system has been developed. A pH-mediated in-capillary preconcentration of samples was performed, and after separation by capillary zone electrophoresis, native fluorescence of 5-HT was detected by a 266 nm solid-state laser. The separation conditions for the analysis of 5-HT in standard solutions and microdialysates have been optimized, and this method has been validated on both pharmacological and analytical bases. Separation of 5-HT was performed using a 80 mmol/L citrate buffer, pH 2.5, containing 20 mmol/L hydroxypropyl-beta-cyclodextrin (HP-beta-CD) and +30 kV voltage. The detection limit was 2.5 x 10(-10) mol/L. This method allows the in vivo brain monitoring of 5-HT using a simple, accurate CE measurement in underivatized microdialysis samples. 相似文献
