This paper presents the decomposition by-products of trifluro-iodo-methane and their relative proportions in the gas phase under the occurrence of partial discharge. The experiment was performed in the presence of water vapor from 250 to 400 ppm under a non-uniform electric field configuration. The experimental results reveal that the by-products of C2F6, C2F4, C2F5I with the amount of 1300, 200, and 55 (CH3I) ppm, respectively, were produced for a cumulative charge of 161 mC. Other by-products, such as C3F8, CHF3, C3F6 CH3I were obtained at less than 30 ppm C2F6 was the dominant gas by-product of trifluro-iodo-methane suffering partial discharge.  相似文献

New exact solutions corresponding to the second problem of Stokes for Maxwell fluids have been established by means of Laplace transforms. For large times, these solutions reduce to the well-known steady-state solutions which are periodic in time and independent of the initial conditions. Furthermore, the transient solutions are in accordance with the previous solutions obtained using the Fourier sine transform. The required time to get the steady-state is determined by graphical illustrations. This time decreases if the frequency of the velocity increases. The effects of the material parameters on the decay of the transients in time are also investigated by graphs.  相似文献

We have studied ternary solutions of rodlike and random coil polymers in a common solvent. In these solutions, the rods scatter weakly, and almost all scattering comes from the coil component. From light scattering measurements, we gained information about the thermodynamic and hydrodynamic properties of the coil in rodlike polymer solutions.  相似文献

Spectral dispersions of index of refraction \({n(\lambda )}\) and extinction coefficient \({\kappa (\lambda )}\) of undoped amorphous selenium (a-Se) films of three thicknesses (d?≈?0.5, 0.75, and 1.0 µm) were evaluated by analyzing experimental room-temperature normal-incidence transmittance-wavelength (\({{T_{{\text{exp}}}}(\lambda )} - \lambda\)) data (λ =?400–1100 µm) of their air-supported {a-Se film/thick glass slide}-stacks using Swanepoel’s transmission envelope theory of uniform films. Above a wavelength \({{\lambda _c}\,\, \approx \,\,640\;{\text{nm}}}\), as-measured \({{T_{{\text{exp}}}}(\lambda )}\,\, - \,\lambda\) spectra display well-resolved maxima and minima, with minor shrinkage in transparent and weak absorption regions (750–1100 nm). Below \({\lambda _{\text{c}}}\), a smeared sharp decline of \({{T_{{\text{exp}}}}(\lambda )}\) with decreasing λ, signifying strong absorption in a-Se films and existence of band-tail localized states. For λ > λ c, the \({n\,(\lambda )}\, - \,\lambda\) data retrieved from algebraic envelope procedures followed a Sellmeier-like dispersion relation, with the best-fit values of high-frequency dielectric constant \({{\varepsilon _\infty }\, \approx \,\,{\text{4.9}}}\), static index of refraction \({{n_{\text{0}}} = n\left( {E\, \to \,{\text{0}}} \right)\,\, \approx \,\,{\text{2.43}}}\), and resonance wavelength \({{\lambda _0}\, \approx \,490\,\,{\text{nm}}}\), which may be assigned to onset of photogeneration in a-Se. Urbach-like dependency of absorption coefficient \({\alpha (h{{\nu }})}\) of a-Se films on photon energy \({h{{\nu }}}\) was realized with an Urbach-tail breadth of 85 meV. All achieved optical parameters were found to be slightly dependent on film thickness. Findings of present algebraic analysis are consistent with reported literature results obtained on the basis of other optical analytical approaches.  相似文献

The oil-water partitioning of a synthetic tetraacid acting as a model compound for indigenous C80-C82 ARN acids has been studied as a function of pH, ionic strength and type of monovalent counterion. Experimental data obtained with ultraviolet-visible and HPLC/UV analyses have been fitted to thermodynamic models based on one, two or four dissociation steps to obtain o/w partition coefficients (K wo ) of the fully protonated acid between chloroform and aqueous solutions, and its apparent acidity constant(s), pK a. As the study is conducted above the CMC of the tetraacid, in general high apparent acidity constants were obtained in the range from 6 to 8 resulting from micellization equilibria. K wo values were obtained in the range from 10?3 to 10?4, and decreasing with increasing salinity. At 50 mM K+, no conclusions could be made regarding the number of distinguishable dissociation steps, while at higher ionic strength (184 mM and 452 mM K+) and at 184 mM Na+ a model with two dissociation steps provided good fits to the experimental data. The first step was found to be given by a pK a ≈ 6.6–6.8 and the second dissociation step at pK a values ≈ 7.8–8.3. The two-step mechanism supports previous results obtained by potentiometric titrations. No significant difference in the o/w behavior was observed when changing the counterion from potassium to sodium. The main partitioning of the tetraacid in the aqueous phase occurred above pH 8, where the fully deprotonated acid was formed.  相似文献

The oxidation reaction of phenyl hydrazine (Phh) by hexacyanoferrate ([Fe(CN)6]3?) has been studied in water‐in‐oil (w/o) microemulsion media. The kinetic profile of the reaction was investigated as a function of [Phh], droplet size, and droplet concentration. Comparison of the kinetic profiles of the reaction in microemulsion, water‐urea, and water‐AOT‐urea media indicates that the kinetic profile of the reaction in microemulsion shows a behavior similar to that of the reaction in water‐AOT‐urea medium at 4 M urea. An initial increase and then a decrease in kobs is observed with increasing molar ratio, Wo(=[H2O]/[AOT]) at constant [AOT] (=0.4 M), whereas kobs decreases upon increasing the AOT concentration at constant molar ratio.  相似文献

Typical cis-PtA(2)G(2) models of key DNA lesions formed by cis-type Pt anticancer drugs are very dynamic and difficult to characterize (A(2) = diamine or two amines; G = guanine derivative). Retro models have A(2) carrier ligands designed to decrease dynamic motion without eliminating any of three possible conformers with bases oriented head-to-tail (two: DeltaHT and LambdaHT) or head-to-head (one: HH). All three were found in NMR studies of eight Me(2)DABPtG(2) retro models (Me(2)DAB = N,N'-dimethyl-2,3-diaminobutane with S,R,R,S and R,S,S,R configurations at the chelate ring N, C, C, and N atoms, respectively; G = 5'-GMP, 3'-GMP, 5'-IMP, and 3'-IMP). The bases cant to the left (L) in (S,R,R,S)-Me(2)DABPtG(2) adducts and to the right (R) in (R,S,S,R)-Me(2)DABPtG(2) adducts. Relative to the case in which the bases are both not canted, canting will move the six-membered rings closer in to each other ("6-in" form) or farther out from each other ("6-out" form). Interligand interactions between ligand components near to Pt (first-first sphere communication = FFC) or far from Pt (second-sphere communication = SSC) influence stability. In typical cases at pH < 8, the "6-in" form is favored, although the larger six-membered rings of the bases are close. In minor "6-out" HT forms, the proximity of the smaller five-membered rings could be sterically favorable. Also, G O6 is closer to the sterically less demanding NH part of the Me(2)DAB ligand, possibly allowing G O6-NH hydrogen bonding. These favorable FFC effects do not fully compensate for possibly stronger FFC dipole effects in the "6-in" form. SSC, phosphate-N1H cis G interactions favor LambdaHT forms in 5'-GMP and 5'-IMP complexes and DeltaHT forms in 3'-GMP and 3'-IMP complexes. When SSC and FFC favor the same HT conformer, it is present at >90% abundance. In six adducts [four (S,R,R,S)-Me(2)DABPtG(2) and (R,S,S,R)-Me(2)DABPtG(2) (G = 3'-GMP and 3'-IMP)], the minor "6-out" HT form at pH approximately 7 becomes the major form at pH approximately 10, where G N1H is deprotonated, because the large distance between the negatively charged N1 atoms minimizes electrostatic repulsion and probably because the G O6-(NH)Me(2)DAB H-bond (FFC) is strengthened by N1H deprotonation. At pH approximately 10, phosphate-negative N1 repulsion is an unfavorable SSC term. This factor disfavors the LambdaHT R form of two (R,S,S,R)-Me(2)DABPtG(2) (G = 5'-GMP and 5'-IMP) adducts to such an extent that the "6-in" DeltaHT R form remains the dominant form even at pH approximately 10.  相似文献

A new end-off type acyclic ligand with four hydroxyethyl arms, 2,6-bis[bis(2-hydroxyethyl)aminomethyl]-4-methylphenol [H(bhmp)], formed dinuclear cobalt(II) complexes [Co(2)(bhmp)(OAc)(2)]BPh(4) (1) and [Co(2)(bhmp)(OBz)(2)]BPh(4) (2). The complex 1.2.5CH(3)CN (C(50)H(62.5)BCo(2)N(4.5)O(9)) crystallizes in the monoclinic space group C2/c with dimensions a = 25.424(5) A, b = 13.376(2) A, c = 29.913(6) A, beta = 105.930(3) degrees, and V = 9781(3) A(3) and with Z = 8. X-ray diffraction analysis revealed a mu-phenoxo-bis(mu-acetato)dicobalt(II) core structure containing two octahedral cobalt(II) ions. Electronic spectra were investigated for 1 and 2 in the range 400-1800 nm, and the data were typical for the octahedral high-spin cobalt(II) complexes. Magnetic susceptibility was measured for 1 and 2 over the temperature range 4.5-300 K, and the data were analyzed well using our theoretical method. The best fitting parameters were kappa = 0.77, lambda = -116 cm(-1), Delta = 572 cm(-1), and J = -0.44 cm(-1) for complex 1 and kappa = 0.96, lambda = -93 cm(-1), Delta = 616 cm(-1), and J = -0.33 cm(-1) for complex 2.  相似文献

A carbaryl and 1-naphtol molecular imprinted polymers (MIP1 and MIP 2, respectively) were prepared using suspension polymerization and tested for selective and reversible binding to carbaryl and 1-naphtol, respectively. In the suspension polymerization technique used, polymers of methacrylic acid (MAA), highly cross-linked with ethylene dimethacrylate, provide a specific binding sites for the carbaryl molecule and its metabolite when using it as a template to be removed after polymerization. The molecular imprinted polymer with a particle size of approximately 5 microm were isolated and packed into a pre-column (50 mm x 4.6 mm id) that was used to isolate carbaryl and its metabolite from complex matrices injected on a high performance liquid chromatography system using ultra-violet detection without extensive sample preparation and clean up. The HPLC method had a detection limit of 1.00 ng/mL and a linear response (r2 > 0.98) over the concentration range of 1.00-10.0 ng/mL.  相似文献
