The formation constants of the binary complexes Cu(CM)2+ and Cu(CM) 2 2+ as well as those of the ternary complexes Cu(CM)L + and Cu(CM)2 L + (CM=Cimetidine=N-Cyano-N-methyl-N[(5-methyl-1H-imidazol-4-yl)methyltioethyl]-guanidine; HL=Phenobarbital=5-ethyl-5-phenyl-barbituric acid) have been determined in 0.1 and 1.0 mol dm–3 NaClO4 methanol solutions at 25±0.2°C. The values of logX, log stat.., and logK confirm the stability of the ternary complexes.

Die Werte von logX, log stat. und logK bestätigen die Stabilität der ternären Komplexe.

During the last three decades, the impact of visualization processes on the teaching and learning of mathematics has been extensively researched. However, considerably less work has been devoted to haptic processes. In this paper, we describe and analyze the role of haptic processes from data collected in mathematics lessons taught in a school for blind students. The analysis builds upon studies from perception and also from teaching experiences in order to examine the teacher’s and the students’ hand movements and metaphors when handling solids of revolution and communicating verbally with each other about their insights. We highlight the powerful combination of the visual and the haptic components of their interactions for the conceptualization of mathematical experiences, and we also note the critical role mathematical language plays in supporting the teaching–learning processes in this context. Finally, we consider important educational implications not only for blind people, but for all students and teachers of mathematics.  相似文献

The rheological behavior of a cetylpyridinium chloride 100 mmol l–1/sodium salicylate 60 mmol l–1 aqueous solution was studied in this work under homogeneous (cone and plate) and non-homogeneous flow conditions (vane-bob and capillary rheometers), respectively. Instabilities consistent with non-monotonic flow curves were observed in all cases and the solution exhibited similar behavior under the different flow conditions. Hysteresis and the sigmoidal flow curve suggested as characteristic of systems that show constitutive instabilities were observed when running cycles of increasing and decreasing stress or shear rate, respectively. This information, together with a detailed determination of steady states at shear stresses close to the onset of the instabilities, allowed one to show unequivocally that "top and bottom jumping" are the mechanisms to trigger the instabilities in this micellar system. It is shown in addition that there is not a true plateau region in between the "top and bottom jumping". Finally, the flow behavior beyond the upturn seemed to be unstable and was found accompanied by an apparent violation of the no-slip boundary condition.  相似文献

Quaternary protoberberine alkaloids belong to a pharmaceutically important class of isoquinoline alkaloids associated with bactericidal, fungicidal, insecticidal and antiviral activities. As traditional medicine gains wider acceptance, quick and robust analytical methods for the screening and analysis of plants containing these compounds attract considerable interest. Thin‐layer chromatography (TLC) combined with matrix‐assisted laser desorption/ionization mass spectrometry (MALDI‐MS) is a powerful technique but suffers from dilution of the TLC bands resulting in decreased sensitivity and masking of signals in the low‐mass region both due to addition of matrix. This study integrates for the first time conventional silica gel TLC and laser desorption ionization mass spectrometry (LDI‐MS) thus eliminating the need for any external matrix. Successful separation of berberine (Rf = 0.56) and palmatine (Rf = 0.46) from Berberis barandana including their identification by MS are demonstrated. Furthermore, a robust electrospray ionization (ESI)‐MS method utilizing residual sample from TLC for quantification of berberine applying selected reaction monitoring and standard addition method is presented. Ferrous salts of ten hexacyanometallates and three tetracyanometallates were obtained and their Mössbauer spectra interpreted according to recent structural models for these families of compounds. Ferrous ferrocyanide (Williamson White) and its ruthenium and osmium analogs prepared mechanochemically are stable for hours, allowing their study by Mössbauer spectroscopy and other related techniques. For ferrous salts of trivalent hexacyanometallate anions, the random distribution of anion vacancies is discarded and a model of two well defined relative positions of CN and H2O ligands around the Fe2+ is suggested. Iron was found octahedrally coordinated in tetracyanometallates.  相似文献

Self-assembled monolayers (SAMs) on glass were used as a platform to sequentially deposit fluorophores and small molecules for ion sensing. The preorganization provided by the surface avoids the need for complex receptor design, allowing for a combinatorial approach to sensing systems based on small molecules. The resulting libraries are easily measured and show varied responses to a series of both cations and anions. This technology is transferable from the macro- to the microscale both via microcontact printing (microCP), where the fluorophore is printed onto a glass surface, and via direct attachment of the fluorophore to microchannel walls. The ease of miniaturization of this technology may make the generation of a wide variety of simple yet efficient microarrays possible.  相似文献

Microcionamides A (1) and B (2) have been isolated from the Philippine marine sponge Clathria (Thalysias) abietina. These new linear peptides are cyclized via a cystine moiety and have their C-terminus blocked by a 2-phenylethylenamine group. Their total structures, including absolute stereochemistry, were determined by a combination of spectral and chemical methods. Compound 1 was shown to slowly isomerize about the C-36/C-37 double bond when stored in DMSO. Microcionamides A (1) and B (2) exhibited significant cytotoxicity against the human breast tumor cells lines MCF-7 and SKBR-3 and displayed inhibitory activity against Mycobacterium tuberculosis H(37)Ra.  相似文献

The methanolic extract of the leaves of the medicinal plant Byrsonima crassa (Malpighiaceae) contain flavonoids with antioxidant activity. They were separated in a preparative scale using high-speed counter-current chromatography. The optimum solvent system used was composed of a mixture of ethyl acetate-n-propanol-water (140:8:80 (v/v/v)) and led to a successful separation between monoglucosilated flavonoids (quercetin-3-O-alpha-L-arabinoside, quercetin-3-O-beta-D-galactoside) and the biflavonoid amentoflavone in only 3.5 h. The purities of quercetin-3-O-alpha-L-arabinoside (95 mg), quercetin-3-O-beta-D-galactoside (16 mg) and the biflavonoid amentoflavone (114 mg) were all isolated at purity over 95%. Identification was performed by 1H NMR, 13C NMR and UV analyses.  相似文献
