Unsaturated malonyl esters underwent Pd-catalyzed intramolecular allylic alkylation to give 4-vinyl-substituted gamma-lactones. In contrast to the formerly studied cyclization of malonamides, this reaction could be achieved only with a substrate incorporating a suitably positioned silicon moiety, which directs the ionization toward the desired eta(3)-allylpalladium complex. The resulting 4-[dimethyl-(2-thienyl)silylvinyl]lactone could be subsequently engaged into Hiyama couplings with various iodoarenes, to give the corresponding 4-(alpha-styryl)-gamma-lactones. The use of a specifically substituted iodoarene generated an advanced tetracyclic lactone intermediate incorporating rings A-D of lignans belonging to the podophyllotoxin family. Subsequent electrophilic aromatic substitution with a variety of electron-rich arenes afforded the target picropodophyllin analogs.  相似文献

Theoretical calculations at the MP2 level, NBO and AIM analysis, and matrix-isolation infrared spectroscopy have been used to investigate the structure of the isolated molecule of 1,4-butanediol (1,4-BDO). Sixty-five structures were found to be minima on the potential energy surface, and the three most stable forms are characterized by a folded backbone conformation leading to the formation of an intramolecular H-bond. To better characterize the intramolecular interactions and particularly the hydrogen bonds, natural bond orbital analysis (NBO) was performed for the four most stable conformers, and was further complemented with an atoms-in-molecules (AIM) topological analysis. Infrared spectra of 1,4-BDO isolated in low-temperature argon and xenon matrixes show a good agreement with a population-weighted mean theoretical spectrum, and the spectral features of the conformers expected to be trapped in the matrixes were observed experimentally. Annealing the xenon matrix from 20 to 60 K resulted in significant spectral changes, which were interpreted based on the barriers to intramolecular rotation. An estimation of the intramolecular hydrogen bond energy was carried out following three different methodologies.  相似文献

In 1944, Levinson ([22]) introduced the concept of dissipativeness for a map T in a finite-dimensional space which leads to the existence of a fixed point of some iterate T n for n large, rather than a fixed point of T. Browder ([3]) gave an asymptotic field point theorem which proved that T itself had a field point. Although Browder’s result was a big step, it was not suitable for hyperbolic PDEs and neutral functional differential equations because, in those cases, the map T is not compact. For α-contraction maps the result was extended by Nussbaum ([25]) and Hale and Lopes ([13]) using different methods. In this paper, we review these ideas and some more recent applications. This paper reports a method for the analysis of secondary metabolites stored in glandular trichomes, employing negative ion 'chip-based' nanospray tandem mass spectrometry. The analyses of glandular trichomes from Lychnophora ericoides, a plant endemic to the Brazilian 'cerrado' and used in traditional medicine as an anti-inflammatory and analgesic agent, led to the identification of five flavonoids (chrysin, pinocembrin, pinostrobin, pinobanksin and 3-O-acetylpinobanksin) by direct infusion of the extracts of glandular trichomes into the nanospray ionisation source. All the flavonoids have no oxidation at ring B, which resulted in a modification of the fragmentation pathways compared with that of the oxidised 3,4-dihydroflavonoids already described in the literature. The absence of the anti-inflammatory and antioxidant di-C-glucosylflavone vicenin-2, or any other flavonoid glycosides, in the glandular trichomes was also demonstrated. The use of the 'chip-based' nanospray QqTOF apparatus is a new fast and useful tool for the identification of secondary metabolites stored in the glandular trichomes, which can be useful for chemotaxonomic studies based on metabolites from glandular trichomes.  相似文献

Cylindrospermopsin (CYN) belongs to a group of toxins produced by several strains of freshwater cyanobacteria. It is a compact zwitterionic molecule composed of a uracil section and a tricyclic guanidinium portion with a primarily hepatotoxic effect. Using low multi-stage and high-resolution mass spectrometry, the gas-phase reactions of this toxin have been investigated. Our data show that collision-induced dissociation (CID) spectra of CYN are dominated by neutral losses, and three major initial fragmentation pathways are clearly distinguishable. Interestingly, comparative analysis of protonated and cationizated molecules showed a significant difference in the balance of the SO3 and terminal ring elimination. These data indicate that the differential ion mobility of H+, Li+, Na+ and K+ leads to different fragmentation pathways, giving rise to mass spectra with different profiles.  相似文献

The geometric and electronic structure of 1,3-dipolar species, in particular of nitrile imines, can be surprisingly intricate. A particular example is the C-phenyl-nitrilimine, which exists as two energy minima that constitute bond-shift isomers. To examine the effect of substituents in the phenyl ring, here we investigate the meta and para OH substituted derivatives. These two nitrile imines were generated in an argon matrix by UV-irradiation of 2H-tetrazole precursors and found to photoisomerize to carbodiimides via 1H-diazirines. The different effects of the OH substitution in meta and para positions on the bond-shift isomerism are rationalized with the support of Natural Resonance Theory and Hirshfeld atomic charges. The understanding of how substitution affects the structural characteristics of C-phenyl-nitrilimines, opens a door to modulate the chemistry of those compounds (e. g. in cycloaddition reactions) by appropriate tuning of their substitution (substituent type and position).  相似文献

We prove a sharp Alexandrov–Fenchel-type inequality for star-shaped, strictly mean convex hypersurfaces in hyperbolic n-space, n ≥ 3. The argument uses two new monotone quantities along the inverse mean curvature flow. As an application we establish, in any dimension, an optimal Penrose inequality for asymptotically hyperbolic graphs carrying a minimal horizon, with the equality occurring if and only if the graph is an anti-de Sitter–Schwarzschild solution. This sharpens previous results by Dahl–Gicquaud–Sakovich and settles, for this class of initial data sets, the conjectured Penrose inequality for time-symmetric space–times with negative cosmological constant. We also explain how our methods can be easily adapted to derive an optimal Penrose inequality for asymptotically locally hyperbolic graphs in any dimension n ≥ 3. When the horizon has the topology of a compact surface of genus at least one, this provides an affirmative answer, for this class of initial data sets, to a question posed by Gibbons, Chru?ciel and Simon on the validity of a Penrose-type inequality for exotic black holes.  相似文献

We provide a complete local characterization of Dupin hypersurfaces in R5, with four distinct principal curvatures, parametrized by lines of curvature. Such hypersurfaces are given in terms of the principal curvatures and vector valued functions that describe plane curves. We include explicit examples of such Dupin hypersurfaces which are irreducible and have nonconstant Lie curvature.  相似文献

The gold and nickel bisdithiolene complexes based on new highly extended ligands incorporating fused tetrathiafulvalene and thiophene moieties (alpha-tdt=thiophenetetrathiafulvalenedithiolate and dtdt=dihydro- thiophenetetrathiafulvalenedithiolate), were prepared and characterised by using cyclic voltammetry, single crystal X-ray diffraction, EPR, magnetic susceptibility and electrical transport measurements. These complexes, initially obtained under anaerobic conditions as diamagnetic gold monoanic [nBu(4)N][Au(alpha-tdt)(2)] (4), [nBu(4)N][Au(dtdt)(2)] (3) and nickel dianionic species [(nBu(4)N)(2)][Ni(alpha-tdt)(2)] (8), [(nBu(4)N)(2)][Ni(dtdt)(2)] (7), can be easily oxidised to the stable neutral state just by air or iodine exposure. The monoanionic complexes crystallise in at least two polymorphs, all of which have good cation and anion segregation in alternated layers, the anion layers making a dense 2D network of short SS contacts. All of the neutral complexes, obtained as microcrystalline or quasi amorphous fine powder, present relatively large magnetic susceptibilities that correspond to effective magnetic moments in the range 1-3 mu(B) indicative of high spin states and very high electrical conductivity that in case of the Ni compound can reach sigma(RT) approximately 250 S cm(-1) with a clear metallic behaviour. These compounds are new examples of the still rare single-component molecular metals.  相似文献

A flow system with a multi-channel peristaltic pump placed before the solenoid valves is proposed to overcome some limitations attributed to multi-commuted flow injection systems: the negative pressure can lead to the formation of unwanted air bubbles and limits the use of devices for separation processes (gas diffusion, dialysis or ion-exchange). The proposed approach was applied to the colorimetric determination of ammonium nitrogen. In alkaline medium, ammonium is converted into ammonia, which diffuses over the membrane, causing a pH change and subsequently a colour change in the acceptor stream (bromothymol blue solution). The system allowed the re-circulation of the acceptor solution and was applied to ammonium determination in surface and tap water, providing relative standard deviations lower than 1.5%. A stopped flow approach in the acceptor stream was adopted to attain a low quantification limit (42 μg L−1) and a linear dynamic range of 50–1000 μg L−1 with a determination rate of 20 h−1.  相似文献
