We propose to use an electro-optic oscillator based on two Mach-Zehnder modulators in two different delayed feedback loops to generate two orthogonal chaotic spreading sequences (codes). We numerically demonstrate, for such codes, spectrally efficient multiplexing and demultiplexing of two digital data streams at multi-Gb/s rates using chaos synchronization and covariance-based detection.  相似文献

Li2CoSiO4, a silicate olivine cathode for lithium rechargeable batteries, is synthesized for the first time by sol–gel method using polyacrylic acid (PAA) as the chelating agent. Coupled thermal and vibrational analysis of the gel and also the X-ray diffraction pattern confirms the formation of the sample at 800 °C. 1-Butyl-1-methyl pyrrolidinium bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide (BMPyTFSI) solutions of lithium bis(trifuloromethansulfonyl)imide (LiTFSI) having a concentration of 0.2 mol kg?1 is used as electrolyte. The electrochemical stability window of this electrolyte is found to be >5 V by linear sweep voltammetry technique. The compatibility of Li2CoSiO4 with 0.2 mol kg?1 LiTFSI-BMPyTFSI electrolyte is tested by charge–discharge cycles which show charging and discharging capacities of about 204 and 32 mAh g?1, respectively, in the first cycle.  相似文献

The 4-exo-dig cyclocarbopalladation of vinyl bromides substituted with a triple or double bond resulted in impressive cascade reactions leading to different compounds under Suzuki cross-coupling conditions upon a slight modification of the starting material. When the starting compound carries a triple bond, a single cascade occurs providing a structure containing an allene, a tetrasubstituted cyclopropane, and a cyclobutene with complete stereoselectivity. When the related starting material possessing a double bond is reacted under the same conditions in the presence of various vinyl boronic esters or acids, an efficient 8π-electrocyclization provides tricyclic systems comprised of a cyclobutene unit, as well as a cyclooctatriene. Five carbons of the latter can be selectively decorated with different substituents depending on the choice of the starting material and the boronic coupling partner.  相似文献

Fibers made from CNTs (CNT fibers) have the potential to form high-strength, lightweight materials with superior electrical conductivity. CNT fibers have attracted great attention in relation to various applications, in particular as conductive electrodes in energy applications, such as capacitors, lithium-ion batteries, and solar cells. Among these, wire-shaped supercapacitors demonstrate various advantages for use in lightweight and wearable electronics. However, making electrodes with uniform structures and desirable electrochemical performances still remains a challenge. In this study, dry-spun CNT fibers from CNT carpets were homogeneously loaded with MnO2 nanoflakes through the treatment of KMnO4. These functionalized fibers were systematically characterized in terms of their morphology, surface and mechanical properties, and electrochemical performance. The resulting MnO2–CNT fiber electrode showed high specific capacitance (231.3 F/g) in a Na2SO4 electrolyte, 23 times higher than the specific capacitance of the bare CNT fibers. The symmetric wire-shaped supercapacitor composed of CNT–MnO2 fiber electrodes and a PVA/H3PO4 electrolyte possesses an energy density of 86 nWh/cm and good cycling performance. Combined with its light weight and high flexibility, this CNT-based wire-shaped supercapacitor shows promise for applications in flexible and wearable energy storage devices.  相似文献

We investigate theoretically the possibility of retrieving the value of the time delay of a semiconductor laser with an external optical feedback from the analysis of its intensity time series. When the feedback rate is moderate and the injection current set such that the laser relaxation-oscillation period is close to the delay, then the time-delay identification becomes extremely difficult, thus improving the security of chaos-based communications using external-cavity lasers.  相似文献

By capacitively charging an underdoped ultrathin La2-xSrxCuO4 film with an electric field applied across a gate insulator with a high dielectric constant, relative changes of the areal superfluid density ns of unprecedented strength were observed in measurements of the film kinetic inductance. Although ns appears to be substantially reduced by disorder, the data provide, for the first time on the same sample, direct compelling evidence for the Uemura relation Tc proportional to ns(T=0) in the underdoped regime of copper-oxide superconductors.  相似文献

A series of poly(3‐alkylthiophene)s (P3ATs) ( P1–P5 ) has been synthesized via a Ni(dppp)‐mediated polymerization, varying the bulkiness of the alkyl side chains in order to investigate the influence of the bulkiness of the alkyl substituent on the aggregation and magnetic properties of P3ATs. UV–Vis spectroscopy, performed in solution as well as in film, shows that the stacking of the polymers becomes more complicated as the bulkiness of the side chains increases. Both the π‐interactions and the planarization of the polymer chains are diminished. While aggregation is absent in poor solvent for the polymer with the most bulky side chains, aggregation was present in film, albeit slowed down. This behavior was also confirmed by X‐ray diffraction (XRD) and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) experiments. Electron spin resonance (ESR) measurements, performed at 300 K on powders, confirmed the trend of decreasing supramolecular order with increasing bulkiness of the side‐chain. Magnetization measurements, performed at 5 and 300 K, are in line with our hypothesis on the influence of π‐interactions and the fraction of planar polymer chains on the coercivity and saturation magnetization, respectively. © 2013 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. The structural and electronic transport properties of La1−x Ce x MnO3 (x=0.0–1.0) have been studied. All the samples exhibit orthorhombic crystal symmetry and the unit cell volume decreases with Ce doping. They also make a metal-insulator transition (MIT) and transition temperature increases with increase in Ce concentration up to 50% doping. The system La0.5Ce0.5MnO3 also exhibits MIT instead of charge-ordered state as observed in the hole doped systems of the same composition.  相似文献

We propose a secure communication scheme based on anticipating synchronization of two chaotic laser diodes, one subject to incoherent optical feedback and the other to incoherent optical injection. This scheme does not require fine tuning of the optical frequencies of both lasers as is the case for other schemes based on chaotic laser diodes subject to coherent optical feedback and injection. Our secure communication scheme is therefore attractive for experimental investigation.  相似文献
