Novel Phenomenon of Oxygen-to-oxygen Silyl Migration in Directed Aldol Reaction

The phenomenon of migration of the silyl groups from α-oxygen to β-oxygen in sodium aldol reaction was observed for the first time in this paper.     

Study of the Fluorescence System of Europium–Enoxacin and its Applications

 This paper is the study of the fluorescence enhancement of Eu³⁺-1-ethyl-6-fluoro-4-oxo-7-(1-piperazinyl)-1,8-naphthyridin-3-carbonic acid (enoxacin, EFLX) system by surfactants. It was found that sodium dodecylbenzenesulfonate (SDBS) exhibits great enhancement on the fluorescence of the Eu-EFLX system. The molar ratio is 1:2:1 for Eu:EFLX: SDBS. Under the optimum conditions, the fluorescence intensity is a linear function of europium in the range of 1.0 × 10⁻⁸ ∼ 5.0 × 10⁻⁶ mol/L, the detection limit is 1.0 × 10⁻⁹ mol/L. The application of the Eu-EFLX-SDBS system for the determination of trace europium in rare earth samples gave satisfactory results. Received October 19, 2000. Revision August 10, 2001.     

STUDIES OF MULTICOMPONENT COMPLEX OXIDE CATALYSTS FOR OXIDATIVE COUPLING OF METHANE VI.SURFACE BASICITY AND SURFACE ACTIVE OXYGEN SPECIES OF LiTi_xLa_(1-x)O_2 λ MULTICOMPONENT OXIDE CATALYSTS

The surface basicity of Ti-La-Li multicoinponent oxides has been investigated by means of CO2-TPD. The experiment results show that C2 (C2H6 C2H4) selectivity is related to surface basic strength. The surface active oxygen species have also been characterized by means of XPS, O2-TPD and so on. It has been indicated that C2 selectivity and CH4 conversion are correlated with lattice oxygen and the adsorbed oxygen on the surface of the catalyst respectively In the O2-TPD experiments, it has also been found that there are three kinds of oxygen species on the surface of the series catalvsts, which are a (100℃ 750℃) Among them α-oxvgen causes deep oxidation whileβand γ oxygen species are related to oxidalive coupling of methane (OCM).     

Exploratory Investigations Probing a Preparatively Versatile, Pyridinium Salt Photoelectrocyclization-Solvolytic Aziridine Ring Opening Sequence

A novel pyridinium salt photoelectrocyclization-nucleophilic bicyclic aziridine ring opening reaction sequence has been investigated in order to determine its preparative potential. N-Alkylpyridinium perchlorates were found to undergo photoinduced electrocyclization upon irradiation in nucleophilic solvents, such as H(2)O and MeOH, to efficiently produce 6-alkyl-6-azabicyclo[3.1.0]hex-2-en-4-yl alcohols and ethers. The bicyclic aziridine photoproducts react with a number of different nucleophiles (e.g., H(2)O, MeOH, AcOH, AcSH) under acid-catalyzed conditions to produce 5-(nucleophile-substituted)-4-(alkylamino)cyclopenten-3-yl alcohols and ethers. The aziridine ring opening processes are both regioselective and stereoselective, yielding trans,trans-trisubstituted cyclopentenes exclusively, apparently as a consequence of the operation of an SN(2) mechanism. The effects of C-alkyl substitution on the regiochemistry of the pyridinium cation photocyclization reaction were briefly probed, and a method was developed to produce trans,cis-trisubstituted cyclopentenes by use of this tandem preparative sequence.     

电化学合成铜配合物的研究

采用金属铜为"牺牲"阳极,首次在无隔膜电解槽中,电化学溶解金属铜一步制备了纳米CuO前体Cu(OEt)2, Cu(OBu)2, Cu(acac)2, Cu(OEt)(acac), Cu(OBu)(acac) (acac为乙酰丙酮基).产物通过红外光谱(FT-IR)、拉曼光谱(Raman spectrum)进行表征.同时讨论了影响电合成铜醇盐及其配合物的关键因素.实验表明,防止阳极钝化,温度控制在30～50 ℃,采用有机胺溴化物为导电盐, 电极电位控制在0.8～1.2 V之间,可以提高电合成效率.实验同时表明Cu(acac)2, Cu(OEt)(acac), Cu(OBu)(acac)可作为制备含铜纳米材料前驱体.     

Solid Phase Synthesis of 4H-Pyrimido[2,1-b] Benzothiazol-4-ones from Resin-Bound Cyclic Malonic Ester

The solid phase synthesis of 4H-pyrimido[2,1-6] benzothizaol-4-ones has been reported.     

Synthesis of 2‐Dihydrooxadiazolinyl Chromones

Reactions of the substituted 2‐formyl chromones with aroylhydrazines gave corresponding 2‐(aroylhydrazonomethylidyne) chromones. Then 2‐(3′‐acetyl‐5′‐aryl‐2′,3′‐dihydro‐1′,3′,4′‐oxadiazol‐2′‐yl) chromones were prepared by these 2‐(aroylhydrazonomethylidyne) chromones under refluxing with Ac₂O. All target compounds were characterized through elemental analysis and IR, ¹H NMR, MS.     

Carbonyldinitrosyltris(fluorosulfato)tungstate(II) and ‐Molybdate(II) Anions: Synthesis,Spectroscopy, and Density Functional Theory Calculations

Carbonyldinitrosyltris(fluorosulfato)tungstate(II) and ‐molybdate‐(II) anions, [fac‐M(CO)(NO)₂(SO₃F)₃]^? (M=W, Mo), which are novel weakly coordinating anions that contain a metal carbonyl/nitrosyl moiety, have been generated in fluorosulfonic acid and completely characterized by multinuclear NMR, IR, and Raman spectroscopy as well as ESI mass spectrometry. ESI MS measurements performed for the first time on a superacidic solution system unambiguously reveal the formation of the monoanionic, mononuclear W and Mo complexes formulated as [M(CO)(NO)₂(SO₃F)₃]^? (M=W, Mo). Multinuclear NMR spectroscopic studies at natural abundance and ¹³C and ¹⁵N enrichment clearly indicate the presence of one CO ligand, two equivalent NO ligands, and two types of nonequivalent SO₃F^? groups in a 2:1 ratio. The IR and Raman spectra reveal that the two equivalent NO ligands have a cis conformation, thus indicating a fac structure. Density functional calculations at the B3LYP level of theory predict that these anions have a singlet ground state (¹A′) with a C_s symmetry along with C–O and N–O vibrational frequencies that are in agreement with the experimental observations. Mulliken population analysis shows that the monovalent negative charge is dispersed on the bulky sphere, the surface of which is covered by all the negatively charged O and F atoms with charge densities much lower than SO₃F^?, suggesting that [fac‐M(CO)(NO)₂(SO₃F)₃]^? (M=W, Mo) are weakly nucleophilic and poorly coordinating anions.     

KINETICS OF IRREVERSIBLE MODIFICATION OF ENZYME ACTIVITY IN A SYSTEM OF COUPLED ENZYME ASSAY (Ⅱ)——BOTH PRIMARY AND AUXILIARY ENZYMES MODIFIED BY REAGENT Y

Following the previous paperr, we examined the kinetics of the irreversible modification of enzyme activity in coupled assay when the modifier reacted with both primary and auxiliary enzymes. It was shown that Tsou's kinetic method can also be used in the present situation in some conditions.     

13C NMR studies of molecular relaxation processes in polar fluids

A study of the dynamical molecular structure of a dilute polar fluid is reported, in which ¹³C spin-lattice relaxation times of decanol in deuterated cyclohexane are presented for the individual carbon atoms, and the results are discussed in the context of viscosity data of decanol in alkane systems. The two techniques provide complementary information about the mobility of the alcohol chains and the onset of multimer formation, which is also pertinent to the dynamics of electron solvation in the same systems.
