Over the last fifteen years, a series of theoretical and experimental investigations have demonstrated the usefulness of circular geometries to tailor second‐order nonlinear optical effects. However, until recently, such effects have remained rather weak, calling for their enhancement. In parallel, developments in the field of high quality factor spherical or ring resonators have shown that many different types of light‐matter interactions can be dramatically amplified when light is coupled in the whispering gallery modes of such resonators. In high‐quality spherical micro‐resonators, close to one million interactions can occur between a nonlinear molecule and a circulating light pulse. Recent research on nonlinear optics in spherical geometry is reviewed, from micrometer‐size spheres to whispering gallery mode resonators. 相似文献

In order to improve the performance of the Hefei Light Source (HLS), in particular to get higher brilliance synchrotron radiation and increase the number of straight section insertion devices, an upgrade project called HLSII will be launched soon. The storage ring lattice, which has a double bend achromatic structure with four periods, comprises eight dipoles, 32 quadrupoles and 32 combined function sextupoles. The design and analysis of the magnets are shown in this paper, along with the optimization of the multipurpose combined function magnet, which consists of three magnets: skew quadrupole, horizontal dipole and vertical dipole, with the main sextupole magnet. This type of magnet is the first one that has been designed and used in China. The mechanical design and fabrication procedures for the magnets are also presented. 相似文献

Motivated by the discovery of a new family of 122 iron-based superconductors, we present the theoretical results on the ground state phase diagram, spin wave, and dynamic structure factor obtained from the extended J1-J2 Heisenberg model. In the reasonable physical parameter region of K2Fe4Se5, we find that the block checkerboard antiferromagnetic order phase is stable. There are two acoustic spin wave branches and six optical spin wave branches in the block checkerboard antiferromagnetic phase, which have analytic expressions at the high-symmetry points. To further compare the experimental data on neutron scattering, we investigate the saddlepoint structure of the magnetic excitation spectrum and the inelastic neutron scattering pattern based on linear spin wave theory. 相似文献

针对文献[1]中的无旋性自由表面周期性规则前进重力波传递在均匀流中,本文以与前进波波向同向与反向的均匀流两种特例情况,进行试验测量,所得的波形曲线、流速分布、流体质点的运动轨迹与运动周期及其质量传输速率与Lagrange平均高程等特性,均与文献[1]中全以Lagrange方式所得的三阶解结果符合得很好.这证实本研究取定的标注流体质点的参数,正好为其在原静止水中的位置坐标值.同时亦证实波流场中由流体质点所构成的波形曲线,其波长皆同于(纯)前进波,而其传播速度为(纯)前进波波速与均匀流流速之和是具Doppler效应的;而流体质点的运动周期与其运动周期平均高程、及其质量传输速率扣掉均匀流流速等,都与(纯)前进波的相符.另外,亦揭示出流体质点的运动轨迹,在前进波波向与均匀流同向中,当流体质点在波谷断面处时沿前进波波向的流速分量为反向、零与正向时,则其形状分别为朝波向前进的扁长辐状余摆线、在波谷断面处成尖点朝下的滚轮状线与短辐形余摆线;而在前进波波向与均匀流反向中,当流体质点的质量传输速率为沿前进波波向为正向与零时,则其形状分别为朝波向前进的缩短的扁长辐形余摆线与长轴在前进波波向上椭圆形封闭曲线;而当流体质点的质量传输速率为反前进波波向,但质点在波峰断面处时沿前进波波向的流速分量分别为正向、零与反向时,则其形状分别为反波向前进的倒扁长辐形余摆线、在波峰断面处成尖点朝上的倒滚轮状线与倒短辐形余摆线. 相似文献

We develop a new hierarchical reconstruction (HR) method and for limiting solutions of the discontinuous Galerkin and finite volume methods up to fourth order of accuracy without local characteristic decomposition for solving hyperbolic nonlinear conservation laws on triangular meshes. The new HR utilizes a set of point values when evaluating polynomials and remainders on neighboring cells, extending the technique introduced in Hu, Li and Tang [9]. The point-wise HR simplifies the implementation of the previous HR method which requires integration over neighboring cells and makes HR easier to extend to arbitrary meshes. We prove that the new point-wise HR method keeps the order of accuracy of the approximation polynomials. Numerical computations for scalar and system of nonlinear hyperbolic equations are performed on two-dimensional triangular meshes. We demonstrate that the new hierarchical reconstruction generates essentially non-oscillatory solutions for schemes up to fourth order on triangular meshes. 相似文献

In order to evaluate the charge collection efficiency (CCE) profile of single‐crystal diamond devices based on a p‐type/intrinsic/metal configuration, a lateral Ion Beam Induced Charge (IBIC) analysis was performed over their cleaved cross sections using a 2 MeV proton microbeam. CCE profiles in the depth direction were extracted from the cross‐sectional maps at variable bias voltage. IBIC spectra relevant to the depletion region extending beneath the frontal Schottky electrode show a 100% CCE, with a spectral resolution of about 1.5%. The dependence of the width of the high efficiency region from applied bias voltage allows the constant residual doping concentration of the active region to be evaluated. The region where the electric field is absent shows an exponentially decreasing CCE profile, from which it is possible to estimate the diffusion length of the minority carriers by means of a drift–diffusion model.
