Transparent TiO2 nanotube arrays of micrometer lengths were prepared by anodization of titanium thin film RF sputtered on indium tin oxide (ITO) which was coated on glass substrate. The sputtering process took place at elevated temperature of 500 °C. The structures of the films were studied using scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and X-ray diffraction (XRD) while the optical properties of the films were investigated using UV-visible spectroscopy. Two types of electrolytes were used in this work: an aqueous mixture of acetic acid and HF solution and a mixture of NH4F and water dissolved in ethylene glycol. The concentration of NH4F, voltage and the thickness of the sputtered titanium film were varied to study their effect on the formation of TiO2 nanotube arrays. It is demonstrated in this work that the nanoporous layer is formed on top of the ordered array of TiO2 nanotubes. Furthermore, the optical transmittance of TiO2 nanotubes annealed at 450 °C is much lower than the non annealed TiO2 nanotubes in the visible wavelength region.  相似文献

Properties of two-dimensional thermal radiation are investigated as a function of sample size and temperature. The two-dimensional thermal radiation is different from two-dimensional blackbody radiation when the size of the sample becomes small due to the uncertainty principle, which shows the allowed minimum energy can?t be neglected. The energy density is shown as a function of sample size at a constant temperature. The energy density is also shown as a function of temperature at a constant size. It is shown that our prediction can be measured from the thermal radiation of graphene.  相似文献

Nanoporous magnets are new promising materials particularly useful in biological assays and ion separations. This letter deals with a simple method for making porous magnets composed of cobalt ferrite, where polymer colloidal spheres were used as sacrificial templates. Compared with the bulk congener the porous cobalt ferrite shows enhancements in coercive field and magnetization, which could be associated with the presence of nanopores ordered three dimensionally. Using the sponge magnet complete removal of magnetic Cu and Fe ions was achieved while partial removal was observed with porous silicate having the same size of nanopores.  相似文献

A new time-domain numerical method is presented for the estimation of noise reduction by the diffraction and finite impedance of barriers. High order finite difference schemes conventionally used for computational aeroacoustics, and time-domain impedance boundary conditions are utilized for the development of the time-domain method. Compared with other methods, this method can be applied more easily to the problems related to nonlinear noise propagation such as impulsive noise and broadband noise. Linearized Euler equations in Cartesian co-ordinates are considered and solved numerically. Straight and T-shaped barriers with and without surface admittance are calculated. In order to assess the accuracy of this time-domain method, comparison with the results of SYSNOISE software (Ver. 5.3) are made. There are very good agreements between the results of the present time-domain numerical method and the boundary element method of the SYSNOISE software.  相似文献

Collinear broadband optical parametric generation (OPG) using periodically poled lithium niobate (PPLN) crystals were designed and experimentally demonstrated with the quasi-phase matching (QPM) periods of 21.5, 24.0, and 27.0 μm. The broad gain bandwidth was accomplished by choosing a specific set of the period and the pump wavelength that allows the group velocities of the signal and the idler to match close to the degeneracy point. OPG gain bandwidth and also the spectral region could be controlled by proper design of QPM period and pump wavelength. The total OPG gain bandwidth of 600, 900, and 1200 nm was observed for the PPLN devices with QPM periods of 21.5, 24.0, and 27.0 μm, respectively. We have also observed multiple color visible generation whenever the OPG spectrum was significantly broad. From the visible peaks of the three PPLN samples, it is found that broad gain bandwidth is crucial in the temperature-insensitive collinear simultaneous RGB generation from a single crystal.  相似文献

We study the small mass limit (or: the Smoluchowski–Kramers limit) of a class of quantum Brownian motions with inhomogeneous damping and diffusion. For Ohmic bath spectral density with a Lorentz–Drude cutoff, we derive the Heisenberg–Langevin equations for the particle’s observables using a quantum stochastic calculus approach. We set the mass of the particle to equal \(m = m_{0} \epsilon \), the reduced Planck constant to equal \(\hbar = \epsilon \) and the cutoff frequency to equal \(\varLambda = E_{\varLambda }/\epsilon \), where \(m_0\) and \(E_{\varLambda }\) are positive constants, so that the particle’s de Broglie wavelength and the largest energy scale of the bath are fixed as \(\epsilon \rightarrow 0\). We study the limit as \(\epsilon \rightarrow 0\) of the rescaled model and derive a limiting equation for the (slow) particle’s position variable. We find that the limiting equation contains several drift correction terms, the quantum noise-induced drifts, including terms of purely quantum nature, with no classical counterparts.  相似文献

Large-area split ring resonator (SRR) array was fabricated by femtosecond laser micro-lens array lithography at a fast speed. Transmission spectra of the SRR arrays at different incident terahertz wave polarization states were characterized by terahertz time domain spectroscopy. A polarization-dependent transmission property of the SRR array was observed. Polarization-dependent loss (PDL) spectrum was characterized to investigate the polarization properties of the terahertz metamaterials. The PDL characterization can eliminate the substrate effect and provide a flexible platform to study the characteristics of free-standing terahertz metamaterials.  相似文献

In this study, an electron-tracking Monte Carlo algorithm developed by us is combined with established photon transport models in order to simulate all primary and secondary particle interactions in water for incident photon radiation. As input parameters for secondary electron interactions, electron scattering cross sections by water molecules and experimental energy loss spectra are used. With this simulation, the resulting energy deposition can be modelled at the molecular level, yielding detailed information about localization and type of single collision events. The experimental emission spectrum of I-125 seeds, as used for radiotherapy of different tumours, was used for studying the energy deposition in water when irradiating with this radionuclide.  相似文献
