A novel method for the separation and preconcentration of Se(IV)/ Se(VI) with algae and determination by graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometry (GFAAS) has been developed. The Se(VI) is extracted with algae from the solution containing Se(IV)/Se(VI) at pH 5.0, and the remaining Se(IV) is then preconcentrated pH 1.0. The detection limits (3σ, n = 11) of 0.16 μg L–1 for Se(IV) and 0.14 μg L–1 for Se(VI) are obtained using 40 mL of solution. At the 2.0 μg L–1 level the relative standard deviation is 2.6% for Se(IV) and 2.3% for Se(VI). The method has been applied to the determination of Se(IV)/Se(VI) in sediment and water samples. Analytical recoveries of Se(IV) and Se(VI) added to samples are ¶97 ± 5% and 102 ± 6% (95% confidence), respectively. 相似文献

Chemical investigation of leaves of Staphylea bumalda DC., collected in the suburbs of Hiroshima City, afforded 11 new megastigmane glucosides, named staphylionosides A-K (3-13), along with two known megastigmane glucosides (1, 2). The relative structures were elucidated from spectroscopic evidence, and the absolute structures of the aglycones were determined by means of the combination of beta-D-glucosylation-induced shift-trends and the modified Mosher's method. 相似文献

Doughnut-shaped ZnO microparticles have been grown through a hydrothermal reaction in citrate solution at 120 degrees C. FESEM reveals that these microparticles consist of regular arranged nanoplates, and there is a concave on the surface of each microparticle. The existence of citrate is vital to the formation of the complex microparticles. Room temperature photoluminescence measurements show strong UV band emission. The yellow and green emissions related to the structure defects can be barely observed, indicating the high crystalline perfection of these microparticles. 相似文献

Two kinds of thio-heterocyclic fused naphthalene carboxamides, 3a-b, 4a-b, were designed, synthesized and quantitatively evaluated as efficient antitumor and DNA photocleaving agents. Compound 3a or 3b, having the thiophene ring, intercalated into DNA more strongly than compound 4a or 4b, having the thioxanthene ring. Compound 4a or 4b, photocleaved DNA more efficiently than 3a or 3b via superoxide anion. Compound 4a was the strongest inhibitor for P388 (murine leukemia cell), while 3a was the most cytotoxic one against A549 (human lung cancer cell). With 1-Pymnebutyric acid (PBA) and multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWNTs), glassy carbon electrode modified was successfully prepared. In phosphate buffer solution (pH 7,0), the direct electrochemistry of cytochrome C (Cyt C) was realized. In the cyclic voltammetry experiment two pairs of redox peaks ofCyt C were observed at 0.018 V and -0.314 V (vs. SCE), respectively. The reactions of 3,5-dinitrotyrosine (H2DNTY) with Nd(NO3)3.6H2O, Mn(ClO4)2.6H2O, and Pb(OAc)2 afforded three homochiral compounds: discrete [Nd(Hdnty)2(NO3)(H2O)5].3H2O (1) and two- and three-dimensional coordination polymers, [Mn(Hdnty)2] (2) and [Pb(dnty)(0.5 H2O)] (3), respectively. The Nd atom in 1 displays a tricapped trigonal prism and supramolecular weak interactions, such as pi-pi stacking and H-bonds, between amino and nitro groups result in the formation of a three-dimensional network through these interactions. 2 has a two-dimensional square-grid topological net while 3 has the first three-dimensional homochiral ThSi2 net. To the best of our knowledge, these are the first metal coordination compounds with 3,5-dinitrotyrosine. Preliminary second harmonic generation (SHG) investigations indicated that 1 and 2 are SHG active with estimated responses 5 and 6 times larger than that of urea, respectively, while 3 is SHG non-active (obeying the Klainman symmetry requirement). Strong enhancement of their SHG efficiency, compared with H2DNTY, may be due to 1) the addition of a good donor-pi-acceptor organic chromophore into the compound resulting in superior qualities of both inorganic and organic materials and 2) the H-bonds that persist in them.
