Aromatic H／D Exchange Reaction Catalyzed by Groups 5 and 6 Metal Chlorides

Groups 5 and 6 metal chlorides such as MoCl5, WCI6, NbCl5 and TaCl5 were found to be simple and very efficientcatalysts for the aromatic H/D exchange reactions. Compared with other metal chlorides such as ZnCl2, SnCl4 and TiCl4, groups 5 and 6 metal chlorides showed better catalytic activity in the H/D exchange reaction of naphthalene with C6D6. Deuteration of anthracene using MoC15 as a catalyst proceeded within 24 h at room temperature. Other aromatic compounds such as toluene, diphenylmethane and 1,1,2-triphenylethane were also deuterated smoothly in C6D6 within 24 h at room temperature.     

Disk morphology and disk-to-cylinder tunability of poly(acrylic acid)-b-poly(methyl acrylate)-b-polystyrene triblock copolymer solution-state assemblies

Disk and cylindrical micellar assemblies were formed through self-organization of poly(acrylic acid)-b-poly(methyl acrylate)-b-polystyrene (PAA-b-PMA-b-PS) amphiphilic triblock copolymers with organic diamines as counterions in water/ tetrahydrofuran (THF) solvent mixtures. The system was investigated by means of transmission electron microscopy and cryogenic transmission electron microscopy. It was found that the assembled-state morphologies could be modified by alteration of the type and concentration of cationic diamine counterion undergoing interaction with the negatively charged, polyelectrolyte PAA corona block, the relative amount of water in the water/THF mixture, and the hydrophobic block chain length. Multivalency of the organic amine counterion was critical for disk formation. It was further demonstrated that a single block copolymer underwent disc-to-cylindrical micellar transitions reversibly with variation in the relative water/THF ratio. The ability to form disks beginning from either THF-rich or water-rich solutions indicated that the disk morphology was thermodynamically stable and that THF was important in keeping the micellar structure from becoming kinetically frozen. The nanoassemblies were produced having low size dispersities and were stable for at least one month. Intermediate structures between disks and cylinders were also observed, indicating two distinct kinetic pathways between the two micelle structures.     

优化几何构型对高级别从头算能量的影响

Construction of polymeric and oligomeric lanthanide(III) thiolates from preformed complexes [(TMS)2N]3Ln(mu-Cl)Li(THF)3 (Ln = Pr, Nd, Sm; (TMS)2N = Bis(trimethylsilyl)amide)

The complex [{(TMS)2N}4(mu4-Cl)Sm4(mu-SPh)4(mu3-Cl)Li(THF)] has been formed by protonolysis of [(Me3Si)2N]3Sm(mu-Cl)Li(THF)3 with 1 equiv of HSPh, which contains a square array of Sm(III) ions connected by a central mu4-Cl ligand. The edges of the square Sm4 array are bridged by four mu3-Cl and four mu-SPh ligands. The four Sm atoms and Li atom are connected by four mu3-Cl ligands.     

Design and coordination behavior of the first selective recognition ligand of 147Pm(III)

A new amide tripodal ligand, 6-[2-(2-diethylamino-2-oxoethoxy)ethyl]-N,N,12-triethyl-11-oxo-3,9-dioxa-6,12-diazatetradecanamide (4) has been designed and synthesized for the recognition of rare earth ions. Three representative complexes of trivalent lighter (La), middle (Gd), and heavier (Er) rare earth ions with 4 were synthesized and characterized by X-ray crystallography. In the complex, the heptadentate forms a cup-like coordination cavity encapsulating the central ion. Different supramolecular complex dimers are constructed by pi-pi interaction and van der Waals forces in accordance with the lanthanide contraction. The differences of the cavity and dimer structures were investigated further by assessing the separation efficiency of in multitrace solvent extraction of rare earth ions from picrate acid solution and the ligand has the best separation factor for 147Pm(III).     

SDS/n－C5H11OH/n－C7H16/H2O体系中W/O－BI微乳液界面电性质

In the system of SDS/n-C5H11OH/n-C7H16/H2O with the weight ratio of SDS/n-C5H11OH/H2O system at5.0/47.5/47.5, the upper phase of the system was W/O microemulsion, and the lower phase was the bicontinuous microemulsion. When the n-heptane content was less than 1%, with the increase of the n-heptane content, the capacitance (Co, Cod) in the upper phase (W/O) dropped, the capacitance (CB1, CBld) in the lower phase (BI) raised. At the same time, the W/O-BI inteffacial potential (ΔE), capacitance (Ci), and charge-transfer current (ict) decreased.After the n-heptane content reached 1%, with the increase of the n-heptane content, ΔE, Ci and ict demonstrated no significant change.     

Aggregation of sodium 1-(n-alkyl)naphthalene-4-sulfonates in aqueous solution: micellization and microenvironment characteristics

In aqueous solution, the micellization and microenvironment characteristics of the micelle assemblies of three anionic surfactants, sodium 1-(n-alkyl)naphthalene-4-sulfonates (SANS), have been investigated by steady-state fluorescence and time-resolved fluorescence decay techniques using pyrene, Ru(bpy)3(2+), and 1,6-diphenyl-1,3,5-hexatriene as fluorescence probes. The critical micelle concentrations (cmc's), effective carbon atom numbers (neff's), hydrophilic-lipophilic balances (HLBs), mean micelle aggregation numbers, micropolarities, and microviscosities of these surfactant micelles have been determined. The logarithmic cmc of the alkylnaphthalene sulfonates decreases linearly with an increase in the neff. The logarithmic aggregation number of the alkylnaphthalene sulfonates increases linearly with an increase in the neff. However, in contrast to the alkylsufonates and the alkylbenzene sulfonates, the aggregation for these alkylnaphthalene sulfonate molecules is less sensitive to the increase in the neff. The micropolarity of these alkylnaphthalene sulfonate micelles is less sensitive to the increase in the alkyl chain length and is lower than that of sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS). The microviscosity of these alkylnaphthalene sulfonate micelles increases with an increase in the alkyl chain length and is lower than those of nonionic surfactants and zwitterionic surfactants. These results suggest that naphthyl rings have a notable effect on the micellization of SANS.     

Die Benzonitril‐Addukte [Ho2Cl6(PhCN)6] und [HoCl3(PhCN)]: Synthese,Kristallstrukturen, FIR‐ und MIR‐Spektroskopische Untersuchungen

The Benzonitrile Adducts [Ho₂Cl₆(PhCN)₆] and equation/tex2gif-stack-4.gif [HoCl₃(PhCN)]: Syntheses, Crystal Structures, FarIR and MIR Spectroscopy Investigations Transparent light pink crystals of the compound [Ho₂Cl₆(PhCN)₆] were obtained by the reaction of a mixture of HoCl₃ and AlCl₃ with benzonitrile at 150μ °C. Transparent pink crystals of the compound equation/tex2gif-stack-5.gif[HoCl₃(PhCN)] were obtained by the same reaction under solvothermal conditions at 200μ °C. [Ho₂Cl₆(PhCN)₆] exhibits a dimeric structure of linked pentagonal bipyramids whereas equation/tex2gif-stack-6.gif[HoCl₃(PhCN)] forms a layer structure of trigonal Cl prisms around Ho, linked via corners and separated by coordinating PhCN molecules.     

Cu-Ce/γ-Al2O3对硬脂酸催化水热脱氧产生烷烃的效果

利用等体积浸渍法制备Cu-Ce/γ-Al₂O₃催化剂，并在无H₂存在的条件下对硬脂酸进行催化水热液化。对催化剂进行BET比表面积分析和X射线衍射（XRD）分析可知，Cu-Ce/γ-Al₂O₃催化剂中存在CuO和CeO₂两种晶型，在300℃条件下水热反应12 h后具有更好的热稳定性。通过对硬脂酸进行水热液化实验和对生物油进行气相色谱-质谱（GC-MS）分析发现，加入Cu-Ce/γ-Al₂O₃催化剂能够获得最高的硬脂酸转化率（94.71%）和总烃产率（81.41%），水热液化脱氧效果最好。分析正烷烃的产率，结果发现硬脂酸在高温水热条件下主要发生脱羧反应。Cu-Ce/γ-Al₂O₃催化剂的加入能够同时促进反应过程中脱羧反应、加氢脱氧反应和裂化反应。此外，Cu-Ce/γ-Al₂O₃还能够促进羰基基团的脱除，有效减少产物中的醛和酮类物质。
