将阴离子交换树脂和阳离子交换换树脂混合后填充在一根色谱柱中，即所谓阴阳离子混合床柱。研究了阴阳离子在此混合柱上的保留行为并探讨了其保留机理。     

Am(III) adsorption on oxides of aluminium and silicon: effects of humic substances,pH, and ionic strength

The adsorption of Am(III) (total concentration 10(-9) mol/l) on alumina, silica, and hematite was studied by a batch technique. The effects of pH, ionic strength, and humic substances on the adsorption of Am(III) on alumina and silica were investigated, and the adsorption isotherms of Am(III) on alumina and silica at different pH values were determined. It was found that compared with the adsorption of Am(III) on alumina, the adsorbability of silica on the basis of mass is less, the relative adsorption rate on silica is slower, the sensitivity of adsorption on silica to ionic strength is less, the dependence of adsorption on silica on pH is gentler, and consequently that the adsorption characteristics of Am(III) on alumina and silica are distinctly different. The negative effect of fulvic acid on the adsorption on silica and the positive effect of humic acid on the adsorption on alumina were found. In contrast to the Am(III) adsorption on alumina and silica, a tremendously high adsorbability of Am(III) on hematite was found. The sequence of adsorbabilities of Am(III) on the basis of mass is Fe2O3 > Al2O3 > SiO2.     

碱金属和碱土金属离子在反相高效液相色谱柱上的保留机理

发现以酒石酸和吡啶二甲酸等羧酸水溶液作淋洗剂时，钠，铵，钾，镁和钙等碱金属及碱土金属离子在ＯＤＳ反相高效液相色谱柱上有明显的保留，而且相互之间能达到一定程度的分离。单独用分配或疏水作用等反相高效液相色谱的保留机理难以解释其保留行为。为此，作者提出了动态包固定相机理，即认为羧酸根阴离子因其疏水性在ＯＤＳ固定相有保留，在固定相表面形成具有羧酸基阳离子交换树脂功能的动态包覆固定相。     

Study on the isolation, purification and physicochemical properties of polysaccharides from Indocalamus tesselatus

Polysaccharides prepared from Chinese traditional medicine "Ruoye" (Indocalamus tesselatus), a kind of bamboo leaves, were studied. Eight crude polysaccharides were isolated from the dried leaves by successive extraction with 85% ethanol (FE), 0.9% sodium chloride (FS), hot water (FI), 1% ammonium oxalate (FII), 5% NaOH (FIII-a, FIII-b) and 20% NaOH (FIV-a, FIV-b). They were decolorized by hydrogen peroxide treatment and the protein was removed with Savag's method. The polysaccharides were precipitated by three volumes of absolute ethanol. After further purification by gel filtration chromatography on a Sephadex G-200 column, these polysaccharides were lyophilized. Their physicochemical properties and structural feature were elucidated by modern analytical technique such as UV, elemental analysis and high performance gel permeation chromatography. From the results of partial hydrolysis, FE and FIII-b have a main chain comprised solely of glucuronic acid and xylose residues, respectively.

The reaction of electron-deficient cyclopropane derivatives, cis-1-methoxycarbonyl-2-aryl-6,6-dimethyl-5,7dioxospiro[2,5]octa-4,8-diones with benzoylmethylenetriphenylarsorane (2) and methoxycarbonylmethylenetriphenylarsorane (4) was found to form cis,trans-l-methoxycarbonyl-2-aryl-3-benzoyl-7,7-dimethyl-6,8-dioxospiro[3,5]nona-5,9-dione (3a-3e) and trans,cis,trans-5-[2‘-methoxycarbonyl-2‘-(triphenylarsoranylidene)acetyl]-6oxo-3-aryl-tetrahydro-pyran-2,4-dicarboxylic acid dimethyl esters (5a-5c) respectively with high stereoselectivity. The possible reaction mechanisms for the formation of the different products were also orooosed.     

A potent and highly selective sulfotransferase inhibitor

In the present work, we have used a newly developed, fluorescence-based assay to screen a library of >30 000 compounds as potential beta-arylsulfotransferase-IV inhibitors. A total of 11 inhibitors were discovered. Most of the compounds discovered showed low micromolar inhibition, but one of the compounds showed potent inhibition (Ki = 96 nM). The most potent of these inhibitors was tested against a variety of other purine binding enzymes and showed remarkable specificity.
