We consider the problem of minimizing an extended-valued convex function on a locally convex space subject to a finite number of linear (in)equalities. When the standard constraint qualification fails a reduction technique is needed to derive necessary optimality conditions. Facial reduction is usually applied in the range of the constraints. In this paper it is applied in the domain space, thus maintaining any structure (and in particular lattice properties) of the underlying domain. We present Doppler resolution limited spectra of the P(J) and R(J) multiplets for J ≦ 10 of the 10-μm CO stretch band of 12CD316OH using a tunable diode laser. Relative frequencies within the multiplets accurate to ±0.0002–0.0005 cm?1 are obtained, but no absolute frequencies are given. We are able to assign most of the hindered rotation and K substructure in these multiplets. The assignments are based on analyses of Stark-difference spectra combined with the ground-state microwave data and the intensity variations which are expected theoretically. The ground and excited state A, K = 1 asymmetry splitting parameters are measured to be δ1″ = (8.5450 ± 0.0080) × 10?3cm?1 and δ1′ = (9.7706 ± 0.0080) × 10?3cm?1, respectively. The ground-state value agrees well with the microwave results. A rapid-scan system for recording data and a computer-aided technique for calibrating and plotting the spectra are described.  相似文献

Ab initio molecular orbital calculations have been used to compute potential energy and dipole moment functions for the X2II and a4Σ? states of NH+. These functions have been used to compute rotational-vibrational energy levels, including the interaction between the two states. Transition moments have been calculated for transitions between these levels, using either the results of numerical diagonalization of the Hamiltonian, or more approximately by fitting analytic functions. Good agreement with experimental data is found, and our results have also been used to interpret previously unassigned spectral lines.  相似文献

Extraction of relevant lip features is of continuing interest in the visual speech domain. Using end-to-end feature extraction can produce good results, but at the cost of the results being difficult for humans to comprehend and relate to. We present a new, lightweight feature extraction approach, motivated by human-centric glimpse-based psychological research into facial barcodes, and demonstrate that these simple, easy to extract 3D geometric features (produced using Gabor-based image patches), can successfully be used for speech recognition with LSTM-based machine learning. This approach can successfully extract low dimensionality lip parameters with a minimum of processing. One key difference between using these Gabor-based features and using other features such as traditional DCT, or the current fashion for CNN features is that these are human-centric features that can be visualised and analysed by humans. This means that it is easier to explain and visualise the results. They can also be used for reliable speech recognition, as demonstrated using the Grid corpus. Results for overlapping speakers using our lightweight system gave a recognition rate of over 82%, which compares well to less explainable features in the literature.  相似文献

Ptychographic coherent diffractive imaging (CDI) has been extensively applied using both x rays and electrons. The extension to atomic resolution has been elusive. This Letter demonstrates ptychographic electron diffractive imaging at atomic resolution, permitting identification of structure in a boron nitride helical cone at a resolution of order 1 ?, beyond that of comparative Z-contrast images. A scanning transmission electron microscope is used to create a diverging illumination in a defocused Fresnel CDI geometry, providing a robust strategy leading to a unique solution.  相似文献

Empirical analysis of the evolution of a scientific collaboration network   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
We present an analysis of the temporal evolution of a scientific coauthorship network, the genetic programming network. We find evidence that the network grows according to preferential attachment, with a slightly sublinear rate. We empirically find how a giant component forms and develops, and we characterize the network by several other time-varying quantities: the mean degree, the clustering coefficient, the average path length, and the degree distribution. We find that the first three statistics increase over time in the growing network; the degree distribution tends to stabilize toward an exponentially truncated power-law. We finally suggest an effective network interpretation that takes into account the aging of collaboration relationships.  相似文献

We report that measurements of the Raman intensity versus applied voltage are sensitive to filling of the density of states and enable us to measure the second band gap in specific semiconducting single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWNTs). Raman scattering preferentially selects sets of SWNTs whose excitonic transitions are resonant with the incident or scattered photon energies. Simultaneous measurement of the electronic gap and exciton resonance allows us to infer binding energies for the exciton of 0.49+/-0.05 and 0.62+/-0.05 eV for tubes of (10, 3) and (7, 5), respectively. Metallic SWNTs exhibit no excitonic feature.  相似文献

A high-precision branching ratio measurement for the superallowed beta+ decay of 62Ga was performed at the Isotope Separator and Accelerator radioactive ion beam facility. Nineteen gamma rays emitted following beta+ decay of 62Ga were identified, establishing the dominant superallowed branching ratio to be (99.861+/-0.011)%. Combined with recent half-life and Q-value measurements, this branching ratio yields a superallowed ft value of 3075.6+/-1.4 s for 62Ga decay. These results demonstrate the feasibility of high-precision superallowed branching ratio measurements in the A>or=62 mass region and provide the first stringent tests of the large isospin-symmetry-breaking effects predicted for these decays.  相似文献
