Second Quantization of the Stueckelberg Relativistic Quantum Theory and Associated Gauge Fields

The gauge compensation fields induced by the differential operators of the Stueckelberg-Schrödinger equation are discussed, as well as the relation between these fields and the standard Maxwell fields; An action is constructed and the second quantization of the fields carried out using a constraint procedure. The properties of the second quantized matter fields are discussed.     

An application of radon inversion to diffraction tomography

Basic equations of linear computer tomography are considered; a connection of the mathermatical formulation of problems of computer tomography with problems of integral geometry is indicated; the properties of the Radon transform for even- and odd-dimensional spaces are analyzed, and applications of Radon inversion to problems of diffraction tomography are presented. On finite-dimensional approximation of solutions of ill-posed problems

We show that the modified method for finite-dimensional approximation of solutions of Fredholm integral equations of the first kind presented in this paper is more economical than traditional methods for finite-dimensional approximation. On the conjugate boundary value problem

We study the conjugate boundary-value problem with boundary conditions whose orders can be as large as the order of the differential equation or larger. We construct the Green's function of the problem over the entire space when the separating surface is a hyperplane, and we describe its properties. Thermal conductivity of GaS and GaSe layered semiconductors

This paper reports on the results of experimental investigations into the thermal conductivity of GaS and GaSe layered semiconductor crystals in directions parallel and perpendicular to the crystal layers in the temperature range 5–300 K. Specific features of the thermal conductivity of these crystals are analyzed.     

New Imperfect Conjugate Gradient Algorithm

We present a method which generates conjugate search directions and maintains the quadratic convergence property, when applied to a quadratic function, even when the line searches are not exact. The method is similar to that given by Dixon, but needs one less vector store. When the method is applied to a number of general functions of different dimensionality, results show the efficiency of the method.     

A Green's function method of determining the residual stresses in cylindrical glass shells

We propose a way of modifying the mathematical model of the nondestructive theoretical-experimental method of determining the residual stresses for a specific collection of technological conditions for welding two cylindrical glass shells.
