Intramolecular cyclization of syn-oximino beta-lactam 10 afforded 7-azido-2-oxa-3-azacephem 11, which was reduced and acylated to 12. The interactions of the benzothiazolate complex, CpCr(CO)(2)(SCSN(C(6)H(4))) (2), and the tetrazole thiolate complex, CpCr(CO)(3)(eta(1)-SCN(4)Ph) (3), with controlled amounts of Me(3)OBF(4) and (MeO)(2)SO(2), respectively, produced the corresponding mu(3)-oxo trinuclear thionate-bridged complexes, [Cp(3)Cr(3)(mu(2)-OH)(mu(3)-O)(mu(2)-eta(2)-SCSN(C(6)H(4)))(2)](5)BF(4) (45%) and [Cp(3)Cr(3)(mu(2)-OH)(mu(3)-O)(mu(2)-eta(2)-SCN(4)Ph)(2)](9)(MeOSO(3)) (53%), together with their respective free dimethylated thiolate ligands, [MeSCSNMe(C(6)H(4))](4)BF(4) and (Me(2)SCN(4)Ph)(8)MeOSO(3). The reaction of 3 with Me(3)OBF(4) resulted in the isolation of a binuclear complex, [Cp(2)Cr(2)(mu-OH)(mu-eta(2)-SCN(4)Ph)(2)](7)BF(4) (43%), and (8)BF(4) (27%). The reaction of the thiopyridine complex, CpCr(CO)(2)(SPy) (4), with I(2) also produced a similar mu(3)-oxo complex 10 (31%), together with CpCrI(2)(THF) (11) and the disulfide (SPy)(2). Similar reactions with 2 and 3 and I(2) yielded species 5 and 7, together with 11 and disulfides derived from their respective ligands. Cyclic voltammograms recorded in solutions of 5 and 9 indicated that the compounds could be reduced and oxidized at very similar potentials. An EPR spectrum characteristic of a compound with axial symmetry was obtained for 9 at 7 K. Single-crystal X-ray diffraction analyses confirmed that species 7 is dinuclear, whereas 5 and 9 are structural trinuclear analogues, each containing a mu(3)-oxo central core. 相似文献

Four vanadium phosphate catalysts supported onγ-Al_2O_3(20 wt%)were synthesized via wetness impregnation of VOHPO_4·0.5H_2O precursor and calcined for different durations(6,10,30 and 75 h)at 673 K in a reaction flow of n-butane/air mixture.The samples calcined for 6 and 10 h produced only a single phase of(VO)_2P_2O_7.However,the VOPO_4 phase(β-VOPO_4)was detected and became more prominent with only a minor pyrophosphate peaks were found after 30 h of calcination.All these pyrophosphate peaks disappeared after 75 h of calcination.The formation of V~(5 )phase was also observed in the SEM micrographs.The redox properties and the nature of oxidants of the catalysts employed in this study were investigated by H_2-TPR analysis.Selective oxidation of n-butane to maleic anhydride(MA) over these catalysts shows that the percentage of n-butane conversion decreases with the transformation of the catalysts from V~(4 )to V~(5 )phases.An appropriate ratio of V~(5 )/V~(4 )can enhance the performance of the VPO catalyst.However,a higher amount of V~(5 )and its associated oxygen species are responsible to promote the MA selectivity. 相似文献

Maximum entropy method (MEM) is presented as a technique for processing data obtained from capillary viscometers. The performance of MEM is assessed by comparing the viscosity versus shear rate curves generated by MEM against that obtained by the standard method based on the Weissenberg-Rabinowitsch-Mooney equation. The interaction of the small (140 amino acid) protein, alpha-synuclein (alphaS), with Cu(2+) has been proposed to play a role in Parkinson's disease (PD). While some insight from truncated model complexes has been gained, the nature of the corresponding Cu(2+) binding modes in the full length protein remains comparatively less well characterized. This work examined the Cu(2+) binding of recombinant human alphaS using Electron Paramagnetic Resonance (EPR) spectroscopy. Wild type (wt) alphaS was shown to bind stoichiometric Cu(2+) via two N-terminal binding modes at physiological pH. An H50N mutation isolated one binding mode, whose g parallel, A parallel, and metal-ligand hyperfine parameters correlated well with a {NH2, N(-), beta-COO(-), H2O} mode previously identified in truncated model fragments. Electron spin-echo envelope modulation (ESEEM) studies of wt alphaS confirmed the second binding mode at pH 7.4 involved coordination of His50 and its g parallel and A parallel parameters correlated with either {NH2, N(-), beta-COO(-), N(Im)} or {N(Im), 2 N(-)} coordination observed in alphaS fragments. At pH 5.0, His50-anchored Cu(2+) binding was greatly diminished, while {NH2, N(-), beta-COO(-), H2O} binding persisted in conjunction with another two binding modes. Metal-ligand hyperfine interactions from one of these indicated a 1N3O coordination sphere, which was ascribed to a {NH2, CO} binding mode. The other was characterized by a spectrum similar to that previously observed for diethylpyrocarbonate-treated alphaS and was attributed to C-terminal binding centered on Asp121. In total, four Cu(2+) binding modes were identified within pH 5.0-7.4, providing a more comprehensive picture of the Cu(2+) binding properties of recombinant alphaS. 相似文献

There are various concerns with current sunscreen actives in the sun care industry which pushes for a natural-based active that is sustainable as well as effective. Lignin is a natural polymer, capable of ultraviolet (UV) filtration and maintaining photostability. In this study, a variety of tuneable lignin-poly(ethylene glycol) (LP) nanodiamond (LP–ND) complexes were developed with varying ratios of LP to NDs. There are two fractions of LP–NDs, which use detonation NDs (LP–rNDs) and furnace NDs (LP–mNDs). Both complexes demonstrated favorable UV filtration, enhanced photostability, and uniform dispersion in water and cream. The LP–mND had maintained its particle size at <200 nm with an increasing LP ratio from 0.5 to 20 times as opposed to the increased particle size of the LP–rND. The LP–mND complex excelled in its photostability during solar radiation from 1 h to 6 h, demonstrating its effectiveness in absorbing 70% in the UV B region. Results had indicated enhanced synergistic effect of LP–rNDs and LP–mNDs with commercial sunscreen. The LP–rND complex had enhanced the sunscreen from 29 to 62, whereas the LP–mND had further boosted the sun protection factor to 89. In a nutshell, the lignin nanodiamond complexes offer a sustainable alternative to current actives in the industry. 相似文献
