Waste scrap tyres were thermally decomposed under various conditions. Decompositions were followed by the TGA method. Specific heating regimes were tested to obtain optimal structural properties of resulting pyrolytic carbon black produced by pyrolysis of scrap tyres and the process was characterized in temperature interval from 380 to 1,200 °C and heating rate 10, 20 and 50 °C min?1 under nitrogen atmosphere. The original scrap tyres and pyrolytic carbon black were characterized by Raman and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy methods. Textural properties were also determined. Effect of temperature and heating rate on process of pyrolysis of scrap tyres was observed. Shifting of temperature of maximum pyrolysis rate to lower value and spreading of DTG peak is caused by increasing heating rate. Temperature 570 °C was sufficient for total scrap tyres pyrolysis. Graphitic and disordered structure was distinguished in the formed carbon black by Raman spectroscopy. With increasing temperature, heating rate and weight loss, the amount of the graphitic structure was reduced at the expense of disordered structure. Destruction of nonporous scrap tyres and formation of porous structure took place at higher temperature. Present article deals with functionality of silver nanostructured surfaces prepared by potentiostatic electrochemical deposition on the paraffin impregnated graphite electrode as template‐free substrates. The effect of the electrodeposition conditions on two silver surface functions: analytical signal enhancement in Surface‐enhanced Raman spectroscopy and pre‐ionization function, applied in secondary ion mass spectrometry (SIMS) is reported. Functional silver nanostructured substrate was prepared at a potential ?850 mV with a deposition duration of 20 min. Analytical signal enhancement factors of 3.2 ×105 for Raman peak at 649 cm?1, 3.0×105 for peak at 810 cm?1 and 2.7×105 for peak at 1539 cm?1 were determined for Rhodamine 6G at deposited surface. Slight pre‐ionization effect has been observed in SIMS, and 1.2×105 fold signal enhancement was established for fragment of Rhodamine 6G with m/z 429 (M‐CH3‐Cl). Graft copolymerization of methyl methacrylate onto wool was investigated in aqueous solution using the potassium peroxy-diphosphate-thiourea redox system as the initiator. The rate of grafting was determined by varying the monomer, peroxydi-phosphate ion, temperature, and solvent. The graft yield increases with increasing peroxydiphosphate ion up to 80 × 10?-4 mol/L, and with further increase of peroxydiphosphate ion the graft yield decreases. The graft yield increases with increasing monomer concentration. The percentage of grafting decreases with increasing thiourea concentration. The rate of grafting increases with an increase of temperature. The effect of acid and water-soluble solvent and certain salts on graft yield has been investigated and a suitable rate expression has been derived. 相似文献

The graft copolymerization of methyl methacrylate onto poly-(ethylene terephthalate) using metal complexes of Mn3+, Co3+, and Fe3+ as initiators was studied. The rate of polymerization, Rp, increased with increasing complex concentrations. The rate of polymerization was also studied by varying monomer concentrations. Increasing monomer concentrations, the rate of polymerization increases significantly. The graft yield increases with increasing temperature within the range 60–75°C. The graft yield is medium dependent. A suitable kinetic scheme has been pictured and rate equations have been derived. 相似文献

A photoinduced phase transition and helix untwisting in a new liquid crystal forming the SmC* phase were studied in detail. The compound consists of a cinnamoyl photosensitive fragment with C?=?C double bond capable of photoisomerisation and photocycloaddition. It was shown that ultraviolet (UV) irradiation (365 nm) induces an extreme decrease in phase transitions temperatures (SmC*–SmA*, SmA*–N*, N*–I). Vertically aligned samples in the SmC* phase cause selective light reflection in the visible spectral range. The light action results in a noticeable helix untwisting that causes a shift in the selective light reflection peak to the long-wavelength spectral region. The temperature dependence of spontaneous polarisation P s was measured and it was found that UV irradiation induces a decrease in the values of P s. Photo-optical phenomena taking place in the liquid crystal are attributed to the formation of photoproducts having low anisometry, which disrupts mesophases. 相似文献

A successful preparation of polyamide 4 nanofibers via electrostatic spinning with diameters close to 100 nm is described. Polyamide 4 was prepared by the anionic ring‐opening polymerization of 2‐pyrrolidone and characterized. The effect of the system parameters (i.e., molar mass of the polymer, the solvent system) and the process parameters (i.e., the electrode‐to‐collector distance) during the electrostatic spinning have been studied. A method for simultaneous multi-element analysis of fly ash samples by inductively coupled plasma orthogonal acceleration time-of-flight mass spectrometry (oaTOF-ICP-MS) after closed-vessel microwave extraction with ammonium fluoride was introduced here. Corrosive and/or toxic acids like HF, HCl or HClO4, as well as HNO3, which are commonly used during sample preparation of the fly ash samples, are avoided in this method. The spectral effects due to the formation of different Cl, Na, K, Ca, Mg-containing polyatomic species interfering with the determination of a number of elements like As, Se or Ni during the oaTOF-ICP-MS analysis are negligible. Under the optimum experimental extraction conditions evaluated using a fractional factorial design (10 mg of the sample extracted with 5 mL of 140 g/L NH4F for 10 min at 200°C), analysis of the resulting supernatant with Rh as an internal standard enabled precise and accurate simultaneous determination of 11 elements (Li, Be, Ni, As, Se, Rb, Sb, Cs, W, Tl and U) at trace and ultratrace levels. The accuracy was assessed by analysing two certified reference materials, namely Fine Fly Ash CTA-FFA-1 and Constituent Elements in Coal Fly Ash Standard Reference Material® 1633b.
