We present the results of relativistic and non-relativistic self-consistent field and configuration interaction calculations for the gold atom, using the spin-free no-pair Hamiltonian in a basis set expansion. A new basis set for the gold atom is discussed and its results in relativistic and non-relativistic self-consistent field calculations are compared to those of numerical Dirac-Hartree-Focic and Hartree-Fock calculations, respectively. Excitation energies, electron affinities and ionization potentials were calculated using a multi-reference configuration interaction technique and are in reasonable agreement with experiment in the relativistic case. 相似文献

We report on transport measurements of YBa 2Cu 3O (7-delta) single crystals with different oxygen contents in the geometry B, J ||ab (J perpendicularB). Our data show that the vortices become confined between the Cu-O planes below a well-defined temperature at which the effective size 2xi of the vortex core is approximately equal to the period of the Cu-O layers. This confinement strongly increases the vortex liquid freezing temperature. A new melting line is found separating a vortex liquid and a smectic phase, which shows an oscillatory field dependence reflecting differences between commensurate and incommensurate smectic states. 相似文献

Using a pressure-scanned Fabry-Pérot interferometer, we measured spectral profiles of the self-absorbed Sr resonance line at 4607.33Åemitted in a pre-mixed, laminar, shielded air-C2H2 flame at 1 atm for various Sr-solution concentrations. The dependence of the full width at one-half maximum (FWHM) on Sr atomic density in the flame was found to agree with a calculation based on the Voigt expression and Beer's law. It appears that one can derive the FWHM under optically thin conditions (i.e. at vanishing Sr atomic density) by linear extrapolation from measurements made at higher concentrations where the signal-to-noise ratio is good, but broadening due to self-absorption plays a role. 相似文献

The efficiency of resonance fluorescence, Y, of the strontium resonance line (1P1→1S0 transition) at 4607.33 Å was measured in CO/N2O, CO/O2/Ar, and H2/O2/CO2/N2 flames at atmospheric pressure. From these data, the specific quenching cross sections, σqu, for CO2 and CO were found to be (60 ± 10) Å2 and (300 ± 60) Å2, respectively. The experimental cross sections were confronted with the intermediate ionic-state curve-crossing model and chemical quenching model, respectively. 相似文献
